GRADUATION CEREMONY VENUE REVIEW:…read more With it being graduation season, this is a review of Prudential Center as a commencement ceremony venue. Because of preparations for FIFA World Cup 2026, many schools that would have held their graduation ceremonies at MetLife Stadium have changed locations this year. I attended a commencement at Prudential Center last week. Here are my pros, cons, and heads-ups for anyone going to 'The Rock' for a graduation ceremony for the first time. Pros: - it's an indoor arena, so inclement weather be damned - it's climate controlled, so take that summer heat and humidity! - high resolution projection screens; real-time video projection images are so sharp and clear - audio is great inside Prudential Center, so you can actually hear speakers clearly and graduates' name - comfortable seats imo - good concession stands - cute photo ops inside the arena Cons: - traffic getting into downtown Newark can be horrendous; that's just how it is so allot extra time for travel Heads-up: - If you are driving to Prudential Center, know you will be spending money to park if you want to be close to the venue. - Make sure to read Prudential Center's bag policy so you won't be stopped at security and told to use a locker if your bag is too big.

Of course food and drinks were very expensive. Going through security was a little bit hectic, but once we walked pass the area things were much calmer. The staff was nice. I found parking within a 4 minute walk from the arena. Will definitely come back again if there is something of interest to me.

my favorite concert venue! have been lucky enough to frequent this iconic arena for the last 5…read moreyears. i have seen harry styles, louis tomlinson, niall horan, 5 seconds of summer (my music taste is clear), laufey, tate mcrae, txt, keshi, lady gaga, the 1975, john mayer, eric clapton, and a rangers game and the below hold true for all of my experiences here. i've sat on the floor, in the 100s, in the 200s, and in a few suites. every seat genuinely had a great view. very different from a stadium experience. food - expensive but good! huge variety as well. note if you buy a bottled drink they are required to take the cap off (but you can ask for it in a cup with a lid) transport - extremely well connected and easy to take public transport to/from. entrance - quick to go through security. i've seen other smaller venues take far longer so very impressed here. merch - many stands scattered throughout the floors. they move quick and the staff is efficient. suites - extremely clean and professionally staffed. stocked with food (favorites are the cereal breaded chicken tenders and cheeseburgers) my only gripe is that guest services is not very helpful.

Yeah this team is like The New York Knicks are like a luxury apartment in Manhattan: wildly overpriced, constantly under construction, and somehow living off reputation from the 1970s. Knicks fans treat every decent season like archaeologists discovering a lost civilization. "Look! Competent basketball! We thought it was extinct!" Madison Square Garden calls itself "The World's Most Famous Arena" because nobody can remember the last famous Knicks championship. Being a Knicks fan is a masterclass in optimism. Every October it's "This is our year," and every May it's "At least the Garden was loud." The Knicks are basketball's version of a movie trailer: incredible hype, sold-out crowds, celebrity cameos... and then the actual product starts. The Knicks have spent so long rebuilding that contractors are starting to ask them for permits. Knicks fans talk about 1973 the way historians talk about the Roman Empire--constantly, because nothing that important has happened since. BTW I'm a Spurs fan .

First visit and a time was had…read more Landed at EWR from LAX and went straight to the venue. I was both tired and hungry. I was with my sister and nephew who both come here often so I had zero worries. We parked at a small lot which I think was under a bridge of sorts. It was fairly empty and cost less than parking at the stadium. The walk over was under 5 mins. Double score. The Red.Bulls ended up winning over Washington. It was a great game despite the sweltering heat. We were on the first row, to the side of the goalie, but on the opposite side of the home team where all the fun stuff was happening. I noticed during the halftime show that all the fun activities were happening on the other side. Leaving for us was a breeze since we weren't fighting all the other folks exiting. So many cars were honking at the folks cutting them off. The sun had just set as we walked out of the stadium. What a sight to behold. The only concern for me is that their food selection was limited.

Thank God I had no problem getting in but I wasn't in general admission . I had seats . I did wish later that I was in general admission for better views and experience . The Merch experience was also pleasant . Better merch inside than the outside one which had a long lines . Inside no lines . Getting there early - no ljnes for food/ drink or bathroom but later it was crazy. The stadium was clean and nice The reason for the 3 stars was that the parking situation and leaving was horrendous . I was stuck in the parking lot for over and hour trying to get out . Other than that area is congested so understandable that there was traffic but the parking lots by the stadium are so poorly managed . Parking lot was gravel/ rocks and areas with flood puddles . And One exit out ? Dangerous and horrendous . One of the reasons why I may never come back to this venue unless I figure out another way that is easier to park and leave . Again I came because of my favorite group was play in here and no where in the area this year.

Concession stand prices are also reasonable. The food is really good. I really enjoyed the mac n' cheese bites. It's one of my favorites. If you are looking for something to do, whether you are a small party or a big group or family, strongly consider coming to the game. It's a lot less of a hassle going to a major league stadium. Parking is easy, free, and it doesn't break the bank. Traffic is relatively non existent. It's a win all around.

I did t want to get charged for illegal parking. I hence had to drive a few minutes to get to a closed parking garage . No machines here . Had to pay online using a PayByPhone app. Took me 30 mins end to end for parking . Food was expensive inside : tasted ok. Not that good . Make sure you eat outside before coming to the ground . How much better can it get?…read more When I travel during summer, I take in baseball games ... many of them of the Minor League or independent league variety. This team -- from the players to the ticket-takers -- doesn't disappoint. There's not a bad seat in the house, and the tickets are cheaper than a movie theater. There are plenty of picnic areas and umbrella tables along the concourse. No worries though, as you can still hear the umpire calling balls and strikes. I've had colder stadium beer and better ballpark hot dogs, but I certainly went back for seconds. Oh, and you're never more than 15-20 yards from a bathroom. Yogi Berra Stadium is the home of the New Jersey Jackals, a member of the CanAm (Canadian-American) independent league. The rosters of these teams are comprised mostly of players who are trying one last time to make it to the big leagues. Several players have made it as high as AA ball, but were released for one reason or another. In other words, the quality of baseball being played here is good ... I'd say between A and AA. If I lived around these parts, I'd be a Jackals regular for sure. For the people who do live within 20 minutes of this place (and there are many), oh how fortunate they are.
