AND, yes, you can add different flavors to your order! + Multiple restrooms reside on the main walkway. + Foul balls are plentiful and the probability of catching a foul/home run ball here are A LOTTT higher than at an MLB game. + Ticket prices to a game are RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP at $5-$10 per ticket and every ticket is general admission meaning you can sit ANYWHERE you want in the stadium. + Private (AND safe) parking garage adjacent to the stadium only charges $10 for parking. + There is a small merch store inside of the stadium that sells shirts, jerseys and other small team souvenirs. THE NOT SO GOOD ----------------------------- - Even though every seat provides great views, there is a running track between the stands and field, so there is a little bit of a distance from the action. - All seats inside are bleachers, so no support for our aging backs. - No outside food or beverages are allowed inside. - Concession stand prices are a bitttt steeper than anticipated ($10 for an average size hot dog, $10 for a hamburger, $12 for a cheeseburger) - The surrounding area, on the way to the stadium, is not the greatest/safest looking. CONCLUSION -------------------- = We came here to watch a New Jersey Jackals game, on a beautiful Friday evening, as part of a kids' school night, and we couldn't have had a better time! The online ticket purchase msp and our seats were completely different. The seats themselves were comfortable and there was a table. The game photographers obstructed our view. There was no screen to protect from foul balls. The staff was helpful and parking was easy.

Seats were comfortable and the sound was good, for the most part. Although it wasn't an issue for us, I could imagine that seeing the artists properly could be difficult for patrons seated higher up. We were puzzled at why the (only one btw) screen above the stage had promotion for the company bringing the show and other visuals rather than showing the performers so that those farther away could have a better view. It's understood that this may have been a choice by the folks putting on the event. However, the venue is large enough that more than one screen could be helpful-then one could have whatever promotion or visuals the artist or supporting team favors and the other(s) could show the performance. There were also a couple instances of mic screech, but not a big deal. Of course food/drinks were event priced and the parking lots in the area were $30-$40, again event priced. But, there are a variety of dining options in close proximity, and it's a short walk to NJ transit. The crowd at our concert was good vibes, and the staff we encountered were all cool and helpful.

Prudential Center is an indoor concert / sports arena in Newark, NJ. Before the game, Prudential Center hosted Fan Fest at 4pm in their outdoor lot area (Championship Plaza). There were van / truck vendors giving out NJ Devils Swag, fans were able to play games, engage in other activities & hear the live band play good music. Once we headed into Prudential Center, patrons were able to purchase food & enjoy activities from numerous vendors throughout this spacious facility. Upon entry, Prudential Center gave the first 9,000 fans a "Fan" Shirsey (T-Shirt Style Jersey) commemorating the Final Season of the "Jersey" Jersey (boy, is it comfortable). Courtesy of GEICO, from 5:30pm - 7pm, fans were able to purchase $1 hotdogs from specific food vendors (limit was 4 per person). As this was my 1st time going to a hockey game, I have to say it was electric. There are no fans like sports fans & hockey fans are something else - lol. NJ Devils vs. Ottawa Senators was a great game. As hockey is a 60-Minute game split into 3 20-Minute periods, the NJ Devils Entertainment Team kept the crowd upbeat (even when they were frustrated w/ some of the NJ Devils hockey players & were yelling from their seats) throughput breaks & intermission(s). We were able to ride the Zamboni (so much fun) & to see the NJ Devils players "backstage" before they headed back to the hockey rink. The dopest part was when NJ Devils #13 Nico Hischier scored the winning goal, leading the NJ Devils to beat the Ottawa Senators! My first time at Metlife was back in 2019 for BTS, and I recently came back... for BTS again…read more There's multiple ways of getting to the stadium - by NJ transit train, bus, car, or parking nearby at the American Dream mall and walking there. I took the NJ transit this time and it was pretty chaotic but highly preferred over a bus or having to find parking there. They adopted the system where you needed a wristband to use the train, but it wasn't a good system for the people that didn't take the train to get there (alot of people went early using other methods for merch or for VIP entry). They should have trains run earlier next time, not starting at 4-5pm. Or have a clear area to get wristbands at the end of the event - there was no clear signage for people and they were confused and blocking the people that already had wristbands and were trying to get to the trains. Metlife itself is a pretty cool stadium, I like that it has an open top because we got amazing fireworks during and at the end of the show - something that some other stadiums couldn't get! Fairly easy to find your seating, and it doesn't feel as far from the stage as some other stadiums when you're sitting in the 100s. We were also thankfully allowed to enter through any gate, instead of just the one mentioned on the ticket. The food wasn't anything spectacular and could be way better for the prices they're selling at. Chicken tenders tasted like elementary school cafeteria food and the pretzel braid was dry.

I have no complaints about the stage show, the video setup, the sound, etc. All that was cool. The layout of this stadium, though, leaves a lot to be desired. Using just one entrance for 25,000 people seems pretty crazy to me. Fortunately they utilize this new style of security screening where you just walk through and don't have to take time to be searched or wanded. This means the long line moved quickly and there was no danger I would miss any of the bands. I'm not into port-o-potties. I understand they're sometimes a necessary evil with outdoor concerts, but I don't believe it's asking too much for the stadium to provide proper restrooms for their guests. Weirdly, I found no one selling candy or popcorn. I didn't go up past the ground floor, since that's where my seat was, but never saw either of these items. Beer is sold from two bars on the floor, and they allow two (long) lines to merge into one. There's no staff to supervise this merging, so it's up to the individual concert attendees to be reasonable about it and let the next person from the line over merge when it's their turn. It took such a long time to get a beer, that I didn't visit that beer stand as much as I might have otherwise. Same thing with merch. There was a merch tent outside, and then one inside on the floor with a horrendously long line. Now, this probably isn't the venue's, or even TicketMaster's, fault, but I was in section G, row 18, on the floor, in a $200 seat that should have had a more or less dead-on view of the stage. Instead, I got a view of two video operators. Fortunately, the staff at Sports Illustrated were pretty easygoing and didn't mind me and a few others standing in a completely different spot, to view the show from an angle where no equipment was blocking the show. I do wish the security was a little stricter as regards old-ass mother@#$%ers lighting up cigarettes--frequently--throughout the floor. I don't wanna be stopped from finding a better vantage point when my seat turns out to have a lousy view, but I would like anyone lighting up a damn Marlboro inside the venue to be taken aside. I got lucky with parking and departing the venue, with a spot in Parking Lot A. We did sit in traffic for a bit upon exiting the parking lot, but it wasn't near as bad as some folks' experiences I've been reading about this week. The infrastructure in this town is simply not made to accommodate 25,000 people. I don't know what the turnout is like for their soccer games, but for an A-list heavy metal show, it was more than the town and stadium could handle. So, overall, I had a good time because of these three very reliable bands. I had picked the Sports Illustrated Stadium for this concert, though it also was scheduled for a date at Hershey Stadium (sans Anthrax), which would normally be my go-to. I think that in the future, faced with the same options, I'd go with Hershey.

Getting there was ok but heading back to Manhattan the train sat for 30 minutes before finally leaving making it packed and uncomfortable. I read horror stories from those who drove, long waits, not enough parking, closed ramps and roadways, not enough signage/direction, a mess while trying to leave, traffic jams, etc. Everything is ridiculously overpriced and the food was mediocre at best. Some of the worst chicken fingers and fries I have ever had. The way they had merchandise stands made for lines which went on forever and blocked the corridors making it hard to get through, and not enough staff helping direct things. Bathrooms were ok but smallish for a stadium. I didn't even have a beer because I refuse to pay $15 for one here. It's a bad joke. This place might function well enough for a soccer stadium but definitely not for a concert. We had good seats with a decent view, but there are sections where it had obstructed views which sucks for those trying to see the stage. Glad I passed on floor seats as I read there were even more problems with those. They are just not set up correctly for a concert experience. One positive is that the sound was terrific which surprised me. If they want to host more concerts here they need to do much better all around.

The staff was Amazing especially since it was crowded and a bit chaotic. I came to see Olivia Dean and there was merch stands as soon as you entered on both sides. Olivia's team also had a pop up before and during the show . The ambiance was clean & I found it easy to get around to find my seat. After the show was over it was surprisingly very organized to get us out.

We had an amazing time at the concert last night. The concert itself was fantastic. The acoustics…read morewere ok, the scenery was beautiful, the atmosphere was wonderful, and we were lucky enough to have seats in a box, which made the experience even more special. Unfortunately, the alcohol prices were absolutely appalling and really put a damper on the evening. Over $20 for a beer and nearly $30 for a mixed drink is simply outrageous!! You go to a concert to enjoy yourself, and then you're essentially paying astronomical prices just to have a drink. These prices are higher than what you see at Fenway Park or Yankee Stadium, which is hard to justify. This isn't Boston or New York City. The food trucks were just okay. Nothing particularly memorable but the alcohol pricing was by far the biggest disappointment. If the venue needs to generate more revenue, I would much rather see some of that cost reflected honestly in the ticket price upfront than arrive at the venue and be shocked by ridiculously inflated drink prices. At least then, people know what they're paying for before they get there. It's really disappointing because the venue itself has so much going for it. The concert experience, setting, and atmosphere were all excellent. But the extreme drink prices felt incredibly greedy and out of touch with the people who are coming there to enjoy an evening. Because of that, I honestly don't know if I would return. It's a shame that such a great venue could leave such a negative impression over something that seems so unnecessary.
