We got inside and there are ample places to sit - they have these wooden tables with old school leather chairs! There isn't a big variety of flavors to choose from but the basics were there - vanilla (regular & dairy-free) chocolate, strawberry and then others like cake batter, watermelon, cotton candy! There are lots of topping options - usuals like sprinkles and whipped cream but I love the fact that they had cereals on the side. The back of the shop has old arcade games which the kids played with (yes - they are free) so my husband & I got to enjoy our ice cream! They also make coffees which I want to try the next time we come here. I This spot is a hidden gem

The place is furnished to match the name and has some fun additions like Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and old school NBA Jam! In terms of the froyo they have your staple factors in addition two a dairy free vanilla and chocolate option. I opted for the pistachio and my one daughter tried the vegan chocolate due to her allergies and my eldest had the strawberry. All three were great texture and yummy flavor. Not too sweet and not tart at all. Toppings were abundant in terms of options and self serve. Standard pay by weight pricing with kiddie, small and medium sized cups. I only spent about $7 + tip for 3 kiddie cups and light toppings. The place has a few small tables with 2-3 seats and two high tops. There was also an adorable Photo Booth in the back right before the restroom. Parking is for the whole plaza but wasn't difficult to snag a spot on a hot summer day. Really looking forward to coming back. Staff was friendly and jovial upon arrival Will Be back!

A very cool comic shop with a lot to offer for comic fans…read more With their ever-present Halloween decor and surprisingly organized interiors, Gotham Comics is not your run of the mill comic shop. From new issues to back log, everything has a neat and tidy place, making browsing quick and effortless. They place a variety of mid-level rare comics ranging in price from $15 to $40 near most of the comic shelves, which make for both excellent window shopping and dangerous impulse purchases. They have a nice selection of old and new comics, mostly from DC and Marvel, so Gotham might not be great if you're looking for more obscure or niche comic brands. Similarly, this is a comic shop first, and things like games have a small presence. I also have to mention the staff working at Gotham. The employee was super helpful, going above and beyond in looking for issues that I couldn't immediately find. He made my visit feel extra special. The only downside with this comic shop is that it isn't located closer to my home! Otherwise I'd go there every week!

Quaint little comic book shop that totally gives off the "local comic shop" vibe from the 90's…read more Take it for what it is, and don't expect it to have everything you're looking for. But if you're looking for mainstream new releases, chances are you'll find them on release day (maybe the week after too). Not too much else to look at, especially collectibles, so your visit will probably be a whole lot shorter than other comic book shops (which is better for your wallet). But if you're in the area and you're in a pinch for that new Batman comic, this is your place. It was a hot day when I visited and they just had a couple floor fans running. Nothing gets me out of a comic book shop faster than sweaty hands on loose/unbagged books. And for parking, expect to circle around a couple times (plan to pay for a meter). But service is super friendly and they take card. And like I said, for what it is/does it's still a 5 star place

Not easy to search through or get around but it's all about the dig. Pretty well organized as far as genre. I knocked a few things off my want list. Prices were pretty reasonable for the most part. I later found out there was a documentary about the store so I watched that and now I'm even more glad I stopped in. Seems like the store isn't doing great at the moment. I would hate to see it close so I will be making this a regular stop. If you're an old school collector, you'll enjoy it.

The prices seemed high for playable records, I saw nothing under $20. All too many of the covers were badly worn or the records scratched, for these prices I think an album should be pretty outside & unscratched inside. Not everything is overpriced, there's also an enormous section of $1 albums, completely unsorted. The center rack is sorted by artist with sections for rock/pop, jazz and hard rock. But it's tough to get to that rack, all aisles are hopelessly cluttered with boxes of unsorted vinyl, packed so full that you cannot get past other people, stacked so tightly that you cannot reach the racks to flip thru, it's just unpleasant. If you're patient you may indeed find something you'll treasure. I bought a playable, non-collectible pressing of a 1985 rock album for $20, that was about the same as the fleabay price but here it was instant gratification and support of a local business. I was surprised this music business couldn't bother to play interesting tunes on a decent sound system, here it's just staticky radio through cheap speakers, meh.

The ages of the children ranged from 3-6 years old. She even made rude comments to the children & had them cleaning up the party room on their own, rather than her going around and cleaning up. She also was not very sanitary and wiped her face with gloves on before she cut the cake. She clearly was also never shown how to cut a cake before this disaster. She was cutting pieces, plopping it into her hand & then palming it onto a plate. She also told my child to stop crying or he wouldn't get a goodie bag. Prior to this party room experience, she kept walking around basically in circles in the lanes where kids and parents were mingling. She didn't give any privacy for the party and kept squeezing in between people talking. Who hired this girl without proper training? She had no common courtesy or respect. The child's mother of the party did complain to management.

Some look like pretty good deals if you're with a group. But... $50 for an hour of bowling on a Saturday afternoon?!?!? AND... when the time limit is up in the 7th frame, the alley just shuts off?!?!? Two of us bowled two games and then completed 1/2 of the seventh frame in game three. So, between us, we didn't bowl six games. If we *had* finished our last game, it would cost over $8 a game! That's outrageous! To cut off the alley mid-game (mid-7th frame) is insulting to the costumer. That said, Holiday Bowl was a hopping place with groups, families, beginners, and regulars. Food looked really good. Great selection of beers. Full bar. Waitress service. Will need to go during a promotion, though, to not feel ripped off.

The kids were raving about how much fun it was and how they got to play so many different games. It was freezing the day of our party, but perfectly warm on the bus. It was such a hit that one of our party guests booked a game truck party for her son the following month. Communication was easy and the employees were great. There's only street parking where I am, so I went to the city and got a few "no parking" signs to reserve a spot for the truck which worked very well.
