The view from the tiny porch.

Hull's Kitchen is a seasonal restaurant on Nantasket Beach in what used to be a single family cottage, complete with wrap around porch. It's wedged between a big resort hotel parking lot and three crappy bar/fried food/view/get-your-sloppy-drunk-on joints. There's plenty of parking (on the strip and behind on the other strip), a great view, and a decent loo. If I were Yelping on a curve, this would be a five. But I'm not. Hull's Kitchen is a solid three. It's good enough that I've been a few times and would come back but not great. It can be fun if you get a decent table when there's live music. The food is good, sometimes better than others. This past visit, the pepper roasted sweet potatoes were excellent. But because it always feels like camping out, the prices seem a little high. All the eating is done outside on the porch at wooden tables. Everything is paper or plastic: the utensils, the plates, the cups. Even the salt and pepper come in little to-go packets. I guess this is the business model -- fast and easy (but not cheap). I don't mind this so much when I'm eating a taco, but when I'm spending $22 for a seafood salad, I want a real plate and a real fork. And it always bugs me with a cocktail. This most recent visit, I got the pomegranate margarita, which was deliciously sour, almost perfect, but it came in a flimsy little (very little) cup, like kindergarten. This isn't a wild place. This isn't a place people come to get drunk. It's for old farts, with some guy warbling classic rock on the back deck. No one is going to go crazy, including me. Give me a real glass. I promise I won't launch it at passing cars.

The food was incredible. My boyfriend and I loved the vegetarian tacos and the salad! The drinks were pretty good too and we played chutes and ladders

Jane and her family are great! Friendly, courteous, welcoming and they take great care to never cross contaminate my food (shellfish and gluten allergies...real ones). The salsa is so fresh! 3 ingredients, love it. I don't eat the fried fish although I've brought many friends who have and have loved it. HK changes their oil daily and from my friend's experiences it is obvious (the fried food there also looks cleaner than at other places). The good is always fresh, the view is great, sunsets can't be beat. Live music is lovely, scenery full of vibrancy and people having beach fun. Love this place!

If you're unlucky enough to catch them when they're open, you'll regret it. Overpriced garbage.

Came in town for 2 days and decided to try place near our hotel. The Food was sub par. Waitress nice. Manager very rude. Don't recommend.

We cannot speak highly enough of Cold Harbor Brewing! We held my daughter's graduate school…read moregraduation party here at the end of May, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Throughout the planning process, we worked with the owner, Will, and General Manager, Andrew, who was organized, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Communication was always prompt, and he made sure every detail was addressed leading up to the event. On the day of the party, Bobby, Stan, and Jordan were outstanding. They helped everything run seamlessly and were always available whenever we needed assistance. Their knowledge of the venue and event hosting made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The food was delicious! Our guests enjoyed various appetizers, pizza, chicken parmesan and pasta primavera. The cookies and brownies served warm from the oven for dessert were a particular highlight and the perfect ending to a wonderful celebration. Everyone who attended was impressed by both the venue and the exceptional service. We utilized the Full Tank Room and a portion of the patio. Our guests are still talking about it! We received countless compliments throughout the evening, and it truly made the occasion feel special. We would not hesitate to host another event at Cold Harbor Brewing in the future. We also frequent the restaurant and have always had good experiences. Five stars all around!

Bought another car up this way and keeping with my tradition from a couple years ago, I decided to…read morevisit cold harbor again; this time at their new beautiful location. Got there on a Thursday at 5:30 and could barely park it was so full. I was worried about a big wait but it turns out there was a party in their back room space (that looked amazing BTW). We were greeted and seated right away and our server Olivia T came right over. She never stopped hustling the whole night! Beer was still great, one click off the big boys but noble contenders in the mass beer game. The food was, quite honestly, nothing to look at but the flavor was pretty good. The avocado on the turkey burger looked like it came out of a bottle, but it tasted great. The corn salsa on the burger was also delicious, just wished there was a tiny bit more. Overall, it was another great visit only this time in a wonderful new space.
