When I went into this local place by Nantasket beach. I thought I was going to get fresh shrimp tacos completely failed my expectations! The shrimp they use is the "already cook shrimp" very tasteless. Let me add I waited over 40mins for 2 tacos ! Also chips and corn salsa was a 3 outta 10. Taste like they submerged the corn in red wine vinegar! I also had to ask the bartender if there was a wait on chips and salsa!? because I waited 25 mins for chips and salsa I should've know then ! Decided to try this restaurant with a friend because it was open on mondays. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable and restaurant appeared clean and well taken care of. We ordered a couple margaritas, chips and salsa, Fritos with chili, and two tacos each. Fritos we're a little underwhelming, good but not great. The salsa with the chips had a good kick. Tacos were very tasty though small for the price. Margaritas were good but I couldn't taste any of the tequila. Wow. Just went here for the first time. As much as I listen to negative reviews, I'm very much an advocate for forming my own opinions. Let me just say, the tacos, drinks, hot sauces...all amazing. Umm... OK so 3 stars on average? Sure. I guess. So my wife and sister and brother-in-law are trying to go out for a quick dinner toward the end of the evening on a Thursday night in Hull... there's a pretty good restaurant scene here, but things start shutting down at 8:45. If you don't get into a restaurant by 8:30, you'll end up at Parrot, which is one of the only places that stays open later... actually Tipsy Tuna is a new place that's open late. But they're exclusively fried seafood. Anyway we realize we're in a rush at about 7:45. Problem is that our 17 year old daughter and my sister's 11 year old son and his friend need food quickly. So hustle up from the beach and decide we'll call the taco place at the base of the hill to grab a couple of quesadillas and burrito. I call to place the order at 8:20, but the lady says "oh can you place the order on our online app?" I say sure. So I place the order online at 8:25. I notice however that the online app says the food will be ready at 9:10. And O couldn't believe it would take 45 minutes to prepare 2 cheese quesadillas and a chicken burrito... We didn't want to wait that long, so I ran down to the corner to just be there and check I and ask them to move it along. I figured it was just a glitch in the app. I mean this place is never really slammed. WhenI got there I explained that I was in a rush and suggested they could just cancel that order if it made a difference. The strange thing is that there were only two people in the place. So I was pretty sure they'd be able to knock out order out faster. A guy came in and I thought he was ordering... at around 8:45 the staff started bagging up an order... but not was the other guy's. Mine came out at 8:50. This isn't that big a deal. But the quesadillas were super small. So my wife was upset that the boys wouldn't have enough (that's all they were eating...). And my daughter got corn in her burrito (which she didn't order). I had a bite of the burrito and thought it was good. But honestly, they're just slow. Maybe that's why there's not normally many people in there? BTW, I've had the tacos and bowls from there and I thought they've been excellent. read more

**Abysmal Experience - Truly Zero Star Rating** Ozzy (Owner) and Bella (Manager) have to be the poorest representation of business leadership on the south shore. My dining experience has always been lackluster since this establishment opened, however, based on a recent discussion about a job opportunity with both Ozzy and Bella it was clear to see why they have received such consistent negative reviews. They should get a restaurant award for thee smallest tacos. You can eat a box of them they are that good but tiny. You do not get your money's worth here and the drinks are watered down. The shrimp tacos are sooo good. Steak and beef were good not the best I've ever had but good. Margaritas as good but weak and I am not a heavy drinker so when I say weak I mean like they had NO alcohol in them... the sauces are really good tho!! I really do like this little place. These are really good tacos! About $6-7 each, and loaded with your choice of protein (steak, shredded pork, chicken, shrimp, mahi mahi, cod) and crisp cabbage slaw, your choice of tortilla (flour, yellow corn, white corn) and your choice of sauce. The shrimp taco is a little spicy which I like. I added the extremely spicy mango habanero salsa to mine and enjoyed the burn. The creamy poblano ranch was so good on top. My daughter got the steak quesadilla, which was crisp, toasty and flavorful and came with sides of sour cream and salsa. The chips and guacamole are absolutely worth getting on the side: you can really tell the quality of a place by their guacamole and this one was savory and delicious. This place is a great new spot in Hull! It used to be a greasy spoon diner and they have really turned it around to attract a good crowd but it could use some improvements! Let me first say it is a Friday night and there is no music on. ONE taco is $6! And they are good but they could use some happy hour deals. The chips and salsa are $3. The chips and guacamole are $6 and the guacamole seems too smooth. Not sure if it's blended or purchased premade, but it doesn't have that handmade chunkiness and flavor. I also did not exactly like that there were plastic forks and the paper tray things- that were not very sturdy and not environmentally friendly either. Very mixed feelings about this place. The good: The people cooking and serving the food could not have been nicer. There were not a lot of people working there considering how busy it was, but service was efficient and friendly, and the employee who took our order was very apologetic about the (pretty minimal) wait. The EO's steak taco I got was really delicious!! It had an amazing smoky flavor and I can't wait to go back and get another one! The bad: The salsa was truly terrible. Straight out of a jar. And the chips were bad too - definitely not fresh or even up to par with my favorite store-bought tortilla chips (Xochitl). The guacamole was pretty good but I am pretty sure that wasn't fresh either. The chips/salsa/guac set the tone for a meal at a taco joint ... I think the owners could spend a little more money (even just by going to BJ's!!) and VASTLY improve in this area. The other disappointment was my EO's mahi mahi taco. It was a little too "fishy" tasting for me - I found myself wishing they had Baja style fish tacos like we get on vacation in La Jolla. The unclear: The sauces and "heat" choices were a little confusing. I think it needs to be clarified which sauces are mild, which are medium, and which are spicy, and THEN they need to clarify (on the menu) that the "choose your heat" only refers to the spice level of the pico de gallo (and has nothing to do with the sauces). Also, I did not order a cocktail, but as I love reading cocktail menus, I checked it out. For a lot of the drinks, it wasn't clear exactly what alcohols were in them. Very odd and something I like to know before I order a cocktail. In summary, I think that this place has so much potential and I really hope it succeeds! I will definitely go back ... I'm anxious to try more tacos (and really hoping the chips and salsa receive an upgrade in the meantime!!) read more

Went here Sunday afternoon. Straightforward taco menu with full bar. Steak and sirloin tacos were delicious. Although the tacos could have been warmer. Onions were used everywhere despite no warning of pico or similar terms on the menu. Guacamole was pretty good but the salsa was awful. Everyone else liked their tacos, my moms even been twice. Unfortunately I feel like I have to update my review after our experience last year. My family and I LOVE Underground so we came in for some tacos and margaritas. We were the only table in there. We tried to order drinks and our waitress said "yeah, I'm gonna need to see two forms of ID from you guys" in a really rude way, thinking we were underage (understandable, they probably get a lot of fake IDs). We all gave her two forms of ID each in which she proceeded to say "I need a second form that has a date of birth on it". Usually just a debit card with your name on it is an acceptable second form? None of us had that so she refused service to us even though we were all of age. I'm a waitress too so I understand the concern, but I've never had anyone need a second form of ID that required a date of birth, and I also have never immediately accused someone of being underage because some people just look young. We all ended up leaving. We all love Underground but we're all pretty disappointed that we were rudely accused of being underage just because we look younger. Again, I love Underground but I was in shock at how we were treated. read more

Came here in December and it was really fantastic! They had some really great beers on tap and in the can. The tacos were really tasty. I had a fish taco with a cucumber/wasabi sauce and a chicken taco with sriracha/ranch sauce. Both were truly awesome!
