My favorite food truck of ALL time. Moved to Charlotte NC and miss going weekly. When I go home to visit I always make sure to visit and get my favorites! Mike is spectacular and his family on the truck are all wonderful. Menu rotates and there is something for everyone! My favorites are the Birria tacos (and the Mexi melt), Korean chicken sandwich, the Mexican street corn arancini, the bang bang cauliflower AND extra bang bang sauce to top it all off! Congrats, Thyme Traveling, you take the cake! (Taco?) Also, punny names are always welcome! Was able to try the BBQ Sriracha Chicken Tacos, Pulled Pork (?) Tacos, Cajun Krinkle Cut Fries, and the Raspberry Like Rickey. BBQ Sriracha Chicken Tacos were Bomb.com! The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was divine. A little spicy, and little sweet, and overall just right! Cream and pineapple added a nice touch and helped keep the taco balanced and fresh tasting! My only critique is that I would have liked a little more onion to add some crunch and a burst of freshness. However, as I would later discover, it's perfectly okay to ask for some of the side. Pulled Pork tacos were great too! The pork was juicy, though I think a little more salt and pepper would not have hurt. Others toppings are pretty much the same as the chicken (sans pineapple). Cajun fries were terrific! Cooked fresh and perfectly giving them just the right amount of crunchiness and softness. Also wonderfully seasoned, giving them a nice kick! A very large order too, could be an entire meal for someone who doesn't have my ability to eat like a vacuum cleaner. Though, if I may make a suggestion, consider offering half-portions, though I realize this could logistically be challenging. Raspberry Lime Rickey was very pleasant and refreshing. Sweet, certainly, but not not overly so. Service was very polite, and fairly fast considering the food was being cooked fresh in a rather small kitchen. read more

It's been about two years since I had them. I caught them in Abington town hall on a Monday. I got the Fresh Mozzarella Arancini, Honey Buffalo Fried Chicken and Crispy Korean Chicken Sandwich. They were about $9- 10 . The mozzarella Arancini were crispy and super cheesy. Both the Chicken Sandwiches were crispy and favorful. All the texture went very well together. I tried this truck for the first time at the camp Kiwanee holiday market and it was unbelievable! I got the honey buffalo chicken sandwich and white truffle Parmesan fries. A single bite of the sandwich had my tastebuds dancing an Irish jig because of the sensational mouthfeels. There wasn't a crumb left of my food and I will be following them so any location because it's absolutely worth it!! 20/10!!!! read more

Holy dang! Everything is fried, but when in Rome, cook for Romans. And Thyme travels at the speed of yum. Okay, that was a terrible line. I mean, I'm not going to delete it, but still, I'm not proud. Humbly, I request that you continue reading. The offerings are 80% chicken, 10% starch, 10% corn (yes, a starch but a different starch). I snagged a Korean chicken sandwich, which is far from being a Korean chicken sandwich, but the crunchy, savory slaw and spicy bang bang sauce atop an exquisitely fried chicken breast is a flavor bomb unto itself. If you see the street corn arancini on the menu, you get them. These things have the complexity of a molé and the muscle-relaxing comfort of game day fare. They're incredibly addictive, evidenced by the fact that I got the last order only an hour into a weekly four-hour food truck carnival. So, do yourself one better and place an order for every person who plans to eat them. It's the only way. The kids loved their popcorn chicken (read: fried breast chunks) and krinkle cut fries, and by kids, I mean them and their parents, who ate most of the spuds. Three entrees and the mandatory arancini ran $45 - on the pricier side of food truck feasts, but boy-howdy was the meal worth it! Highly recommend. read more

Second time coming to this truck at the Hanover mall. Ordered the same thing both times - Bang Bang Cauliflower! It's sooo good with a lime rickey or a shirley temple on the side. I'm not sure what they put into the orange dipping sauce the cauliflower comes with but I always end up asking for extra sauce because it tastes best dipped. I guess my only complaint would be the jalapenos kind of taste like the cheap kind (the kind that looks a little too green). The wait was also pretty long today but that's just because they were so popular! I would definitely go again. I'm intrigued by their other menu items, especially the tacos and the pulled pork slider. read more
