Cuisine Chez Vous is a one stop shop for all things wedding. When I began planning in October 2018, I had no idea how big a role Dayna, Marissa and Nora would play on my actual wedding day in September 2019. The biggest compliment I have is there response time. Even if someone was on vacation, I always got an email or phone call within 24 hours of reaching out. When I went for the food tasting in May 2019, Dayna made sure all of our special requests were met. She went above and beyond to help us create our own specialty menu to accommodate gluten, dairy and garlic allergies. Prior to the wedding, Dayna and Nora set up a walk through at our venue. They knew exactly what needed to be accomplished and just made sure I was on the same page as them. No thinking necessary! By the time my wedding day arrived I had no second thoughts or nerves about Cuisine Chez Vous because we had gone through multiple plans and had all of our vendors on the same email chain which was a breath of fresh air. When I arrived at the wedding venue everything was even better than the photos I provided! The flowers, tables and linens, plates, glass wear, food and beverages were all provided by CCV making them the perfect vendor for me, a bride who lives 14 hours away from where she is getting married. The food of course was phenomenal but the service is what I'll remember the most. At any point in the night, you could get your wine, liquor or water glass filled. The best man joked there was no reason for him to get up because food and drinks were constantly being brought to the table! In regards to drinks, those were poured perfectly for a crowd that is more into shots than mixed drinks. I could go on and on about this company and its employees. Okay, I didn't do any of the planning or ordering from Cuisine Chez Vous, but I attended a swanky party that hired them! I was really impressed with the number of hors d'oeuvres on offer, as well as the variety! We noshed on mini hamburgers, chicken on biscuits, baby cubans, some cheesy thing (I thought it was a quiche but my roommate said it was a quesadilla), and some kind of rice ball with dipping sauce. And the desserts! Whoa. Chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick, anyone? How about chocolate mousse cups? Chocolate chip cookies? Yes, please. I'm pretty sure they also brought the bartender, who served up some stiff drinks. These guys were professional, efficient, and made some seriously tasty food. Word. read more

Cuisine Chez Vous catered my wedding on 6/5/10 and the experience was just fabulous! Walter, Michelle, Fiona, and gang were all amazing! From our initial meeting to the final event, everything was perfect! The food was amazing and not at all like some of the wedding fare I've had in the past. The food during our tasting was delicious and it was replicated exactly on our big day for about 200 guests. Definitely what a starving bride ordered :) Between the mini burgers Stilton jam, Parmesan crusted artichokes, prosciutto wrapped mozzarella, Carolina BBQ on a cornmeal cracker and ALL of our wonderful entrees (including a Gorgonzola stuffed chicken that was out of this world) I was definitely testing the limits of the strength of my corset! Walter was great to deal with throughout the process and I can't begin to describe how impressed I was at how Michelle and Walter paid attention to every detail I described for the big day. I had spent nearly 16 months preparing every detail and to leave it in someone else's hands for my wedding day was a difficult task. The reception hall, tables, candy bar etc. looked exactly like how I envisioned and I couldn't have been happier. They did an absolutely fantastic job. They also did a great job in dealing with a couple of wedding related hiccups, including our earlier than expected arrival to the wedding reception and the thunderstorms during our outdoor cocktail hour. The transition and how they dealt with everything was smooth and professional. EVERYTHING was taken care of. Fiona did a great job with the cake design and from going off just a few internet pictures of what I desired she hit the spot! The cake flavors were delicious and the design beautiful. In terms of cost, I met with 3 other caterers in the Boston and metro-west area and all were very similar in pricing, rental costs, etc. There wasn't anything that seemed out of line and they were very willing to work with me on the budget and food items were requested. Of course no good caterer is cheap and Chez Vous was a hit to the pocketbook, but it was expected and a very worthwhile expense. All in all just a fabulous experience with great, friendly, professional employees, fantastic food, an eye for detail, and genuine care towards your event. Cuisine Chez Vous catered my wedding this August, and they were absolutely fantastic!! Here's a handy list of things that I loved about CCV: 1. Food tasting with Walter. Delicious and helpful. Try a bunch of different foods, look over dishes and linens, etc. My one quibble with this is that if you don't like something you chose, you end up paying to taste more items, which can get pretty pricey. 2. Walk-through of the event with Walter and Fiona (our manager for the wedding). Both of them were very flexible, organized, and helpful in getting a sense of how the evening was supposed to flow. 3. Email and phone communication was always lightning quick, very courteous, and informative. Both Fiona and Walter were always friendly and answered all of my (silly) questions promptly. This led to a really smooth planning process. 4. Wedding day organization. Fiona did EVERYTHING that I asked her to, no matter how little time I gave her. They executed our rain plan brilliantly, the room was set up gorgeously and she helped us with everything we asked her for. The staff were also very nice! 5. Food. It is DELICIOUS. We got wasabi glazed black cod and rack of lamb entrees, and five different appetizers. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious and beautiful everything was. In addition, CCV made several different desserts in little shot glasses to serve alongside our cake (which was not made by them), and those were also tasty and beautiful. This is THE caterer to Harvard. Like all Harvard events, and most of the weddings in this city too. My company used them like a Chinese mother-in-law; always in the kitchen cooking, planning, arranging flowers, serving, not to mention cleaning up...such good times. What you see is what you get and believe you me, you'll be paying for the pleasure with every penny you can muster, gratuities extra. But if like me, you want superior, timely, hassle free service with the best possible care and attention taken with your special event, Cuisine Chez Vous is just right for you. I've honestly ate every appetizer and salad they offer. You must request the grilled lime shrimp. There was this one shameful event when I just stood in the back with Katherine simply to scarf more shrimps as they're coming out of the warmer *shame* *red hot shame*. read more

Cuisine Chez Vous catered our wedding at CAMC in Cambridge, MA the end of April 2014 and they were amazing, their food is delicious and reasonably priced, they handled everything from beginning to end. Cuisine Chez Vous made our wedding perfect. Walter was responsive throughout the planning period and really made us feel at ease. During the wedding itself, Anna and Fiona were phenomenal. We received numerous compliments from our guests regarding the waitstaff, and our toastmasters were very pleased with Anna's professionalism. Here are a few examples of how CCV went above and beyond: - When the weather turned out to be warmer than expected, CCV took charge and called our tent provider to have them take down some of the tent walls. - When we did the cake cutting, and we realized that neither of us knew what we were supposed to do, Anna was right there and ready to give us guidance. - After the event, the CCV staff took down several sets of decorations that we had brought ourselves, even though they weren't responsible for them. - The staff brought out a plate of hors d'oeuvres just for the two of us as they knew we would be busy. Sadly, we still didn't take the time to eat them all, but that's no-one's fault but our own! Let us also mention that the food is truly delicious! Walter is great to work with - he really takes your budget and gives you realist options without pushing you into something you can't afford. By far the greatest catering experience I've ever had! Chez Vous totally went above and beyond everything we expected for our wedding! The biggest factor in my decision choosing them over several other caters were that they offered a wedding coordinator. Our coordinator was Weiwei and she was amazing. She was very professional, handled all the details, very nice and she made CCV stand out (in a behind the scenes kind of way). I basically planned my wedding very quickly and Weiwei saw my vision, from decorations to timeline and made the day come true. If you can get Weiwei as a coordinator, you are very lucky! The food was delicious (try the raspberry macaroon cake) and the service was professional, but if you want a caterer that makes the day go by stress free, handling all the little details, then I would highly consider CCV. I used these folks for my mothers memorial luncheon held in a large Airbnb house on the ocean in Gloucester. I couldn't have been happier with my choice of caterers! After contacting several caterers on the North Shore, CCV was by far and away the most professional, quickest response team. Their menus were quite varied and fit most palates, and I can't say enough about the service, from discussion to booking, to follow up and then the event itself. CCV anticipated my every need, even some I didn't anticipate, making it possible to just relax and enjoy the day. Everything they promised, they delivered, on time, efficiently and without problems. Chez Vous catered our June 2011 wedding - We absolutely LOVED them! Honestly, they were amazing. They were all so nice to work with and were on top of things the day of the wedding. (Extra thanks to Walter and Michelle) Based on our research, they seemed to offer a higher level of service than others, at a very reasonable rate compared to others. The food was awesome, everyone loved it - even down to the cake. The table/bar service was impeccable, everyone kept commenting on how attentive all the servers were. I worked with Fiona Casey for our holiday party on December 19th at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. I have never written a Yelp review so quickly after an event, but I had to for these guys because they are PERFECTION. I am hearing overwhelmingly positive feedback from employees on the party. Wonderful experience working with Fiona to develop a menu that met our needs (both vegetarian and GF options for each course, could be eaten with a fork while standing holding a plate and glass of wine, etc). Cuisine Chez Vous catered our wedding at the Lyman Estate this past August. From the moment we started planning, Walter was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and thorough. My mom handled most of the correspondence with him and she was so impressed with how he followed up with us in such an appropriate manner and with such perfect timing to keep us on track to make our decision. When we went for our tasting there was no question about whether or not we would choose to work with CCV. The food and cake were absolutely delicious and we felt completely taken care of, knowing we would be in good hands for the wedding. Their experience and professionalism made them not only a resource for food related questions but also questions related to a number of other wedding details. Toward the end of the planning process when we were finalizing all of the details, Walter, Nora and Shiva were extremely patient with us as we entertained various add ons such as specialty cocktails, late night grilled cheese sandwiches or ice cream (in August!) and very graciously steered us in the right direction so we ended up with exactly what we wanted and what made sense for our budget. For dinner we started with a summery salad with strawberries and goat cheese and for the entree we offered the option of halibut with a lemon caper sauce, beef tenderloin with a port wine reduction, or saffron and wild mushroom risotto. Every single guest I spoke with said how delicious the food was... "The beef was so tender I cut it with my fork" and "I actually licked my plate clean." During the wedding Shiva, was very attentive and kept everything on track while maintaining an extremely calm and composed demeanor. The food came out quickly and efficiently and it seemed like all of the tables were served at the same time. She made sure we took time to eat and enjoy dinner in between mingling with all of our guests. I also did have a chance to have a few bites of cake and it was just as wonderful as I remembered during the tasting. One of the things that was really important to me was that the reception flowed smoothly without long toasts and first dances and waits during dinner and CCV kept everything flowing flawlessly so the energy stayed high from the moment everyone walked into the tent until the last song. Also, my side of the family (including me) has a major sweet tooth, and everyone LOVED the wedding cake (butter pecan!). I am enjoying eating the leftovers this week, and we also froze some for next year. They nailed the frosting decoration that I had selected as well. You know, despite any small quibbles I may have had about little details that I as a food person may have noticed, CCV "gets" the whole hospitality thing. Much love to the bar staff and Fiona, but really, you could tell that the FOH staff really wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and run things smoothly, and that is hardly a given in any food service situation. The price is right in line with every other caterer we looked into (East meet West looked amazing, but was a solid 30% premium over the others) but the attentiveness and professionalism was higher there than any of our alternatives. I had a very specific culinary theme for a party I hosted last weekend - so niche that I had my doubts that I would find a caterer in the area who was skilled, flexible and organized enough to bring my vision to life. I was relieved to discover that the team at Cuisine Chez Vous seems to genuinely enjoy tackling new challenges, and later grateful to have the pleasure of watching true craftspeople excel at what they do. From my very first contact with them, they were responsive, proactive and professional. Far from insisting on making standard dishes from a set repertoire (as so many caterers seem to do), they were comfortable preparing specific recipes I had collected but that they had never made before. They made the experience of hosting the party as worry-free as such an undertaking can be, they produced visually stunning and delightfully inventive food, and they offered this excellent service for a reasonable price. They were 100% reliable: punctual at all four of my meetings with them and their suppliers and they left my kitchen immaculate. Add them to your little black book: at least for events of a similar size (and I'd bet for larger ones too), this is the team to hire. read more

Cuisine Chez Vous catered a 60 person party celebrating our wedding anniversary, and it was executed flawlessly. The staff were extraordinarily professional and attentive, attending to the smallest detail both in planning and execution of our party. When a rainstorm hit just as the party began, for instance, staff members appeared with umbrellas to escort guests to our tent. Easily half the guests raved about the food (need I say more?), and as many asked for the caterer's name. The bartender remembered drink orders and preferences, and the staff recalled names. But then a friend who's an event planner told me that they often use CCV for their events and said they're great. I was so happy I got that recommendation! I can not speak highly enough about cuisine chez vous. They catered our wedding of 35 people at our house and we were thrilled with quality of the food and the service of the staff. Almost every person at the party raved about the food. My wife and I would definitely use them again for any future events and several guests asked for CCV contact info. Walter made us feel comfortable and welcome from the very beginning, and we had a great time at the tastings. CCV catered my wedding this past June at the Lyman Estate in Waltham, and everything was perfect! We can't say enough about how fabulous CCV was. The 2 food tastings we did were actually one of the highlights for us. A lovely room and table set up at CCV, relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, generous amounts of amazing food. We had 5 passed appetizers (cilantro biscuits with barbequed chicken and lime cream!), and 2 stations including pepper crusted beef tenderloin, black bean ravioli, warm spring carmelized onion and goat cheese tart (which was literally to die for) and many other delicious items. Everything was amazing. All our guests kept saying to us, even weeks after the wedding, "I can't believe how good the food was!" They were so impressed and surprised that it was actually delicious and not just standard, forgettable wedding food. Walter was fabulous at arranging everything beforehand, and Nora (who was on-site and ran the event the day of) was clearly a pro and ran the entire event like clockwork. I didn't have to worry or arrange anything during the reception - it was all taken care of. Nora even had the servers bring plates of appetizers over to us while we were taking pictures during the cocktail hour, and they put dinner plates together for us with a little bit of everything, so that we didn't have to bother with the stations ourselves, and could just get right to eating and then visiting with our guests! They seemed like they really cared about the event, which is definitely a relief to any bride going into her wedding day. The Lyman won't let you use their fancy wooden chairs on the veranda, where we had tables set up, but instead of using the Lyman's white plastic ones for the veranda, CCV ended up bringing their own fancy cherry chairs for the veranda at no charge, just so it would look nicer for us. All in all we highly recommend them - there isn't a single thing that we wish they'd done better. Everything was great! read more

CCV catered my daughter's wedding. From the first time we met with Walter through the wedding day with Fiona, we never had a doubt that we were in good hands. The food was excellent. The guests were raving about it. The waitstaff was very professional and Fiona was a pleasure to deal with before and during the wedding. The attention to every detail was impressive. I was impressed during the cocktail hour that apps were being passed out constantly. Every time I finished one, another came by quickly. Our wedding this past May was so beautiful and organized, and the staff of Cuisine Chez Vous was the driving force behind our wonderful day. They are so meticulous and professional, that you have nothing to worry about on your wedding day. Nora was our contact, and from the first day that we met with her, she took care of all of our questions, needs, and also offered many useful tips. The rest of the staff at our wedding were so polite and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The food was AMAZING. Our guests spoke so highly of the food during and after the wedding. Had a very small birthday party last night, and Cuisine Chez Vous wowed us yet again. Food was fantastic, staff were amazing. Every time it occurred to me that something needed to be done, I turned around to see it was already taken care of. Could not have been happier. Plus, the price was more reasonable than if we had taken the group out to a restaurant. Wishing I could have them taking care of me every day. read more
