http://cateringtoyou.net/…read more I recently helped with a small 50-person meeting reception and used Catering to You for the decor, food and drinks. Cindy and her staff arrived plenty of time before the event to setup tables and decor. Cindy did an amazing centerpiece (Mocha colored roses? inside a vintage birdcage!) which matched with the gorgeous table cloth color. She provided an awesome spread of food (veggie platter-came with asparagus!, cocktail shrimps, cheeses, crackers, **super yummy garlic flavored baguette**, pasta salad and much more). Staff did a great job refilling food as they were running low, which made it felt like we had unlimited about of shrimps :) And plenty of drinks to go around. Cindy was friendly and funny to talk to. She has great ideas about planning events and locations suggestions. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food that was provided. I am looking forward to work with Cindy again at other events!

I cannot say enough good things about the amazing job Cindy did in our special day! She was very easy to work with, punctual, thoughtful, and professional! The food was really wonderful. We got so many positive comments about the food which is rare for a wedding with 150 guests! Usually wedding food is bland and dry but all of the tenderloins and chicken were cooked perfectly! They did a great job dealing with any issues that came up through the evening such as guests who forgot what they ordered and so on! She brought a bar tending team as well who were tips certified and they were really on top of things throughout the night. They even managed to gauge the amount of alcohol needed to be put on ice which was nice since everything not iced at the end of the night we could return to our alcohol distributor for a refund! Cindy took care of so many little and big details and had a lot of great suggestions which made my DIY wedding so much less stressful such as ordering the glasses and dishes as well as renting ovens needed for the venue since my venue didn't have one! I was also so surprised the next morning when I went back to the venue to clean and found that Cindy ad her team even cleaned up a bunch of our decorations! The venue itself looked great and her team did a good job with furniture arrangements and place settings, everything looked amazing. Overall I would highly recommend catering to you for any event! They went above and beyond!

Choosing to have Tastyplates cater our wedding at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center this…read moresummer was, without a doubt, the easiest and best decision we made in planning. Kate was enthusiastic, organized, and full of great ideas. She was easy to communicate with and made sure that we felt comfortable and were clear about every decision we made along the way. For someone who was planning on a budget, I can't express how valuable and reassuring it was to have a completely transparent, easy to understand invoice. Kate and Chris created a menu that suited our personalities perfectly. I've heard that brides don't usually eat much on their wedding days, but I went back for a second plate. Every bite was delicious. Our guests loved it, too. The service was great. Kate's kids helped serve the buffet! Our guests were never wanting for food and the bartenders kept them well-lubricated. Kate went above the call of duty on more than one occasion. When we told her we wanted a tower of donuts instead of a wedding cake, she didn't bat an eyelash and somehow assembled an out-of-this-world display. She patiently spent 4+ hours with me on the day before the wedding choosing and arranging ALL of the flowers for our big day. We would choose Tastyplates over and over again.

Everyone was blown away by the variety and quality. Not only did the food not disappoint, but Dan, Silvia and the waitstaff were incredible to work with. Don't even question it, go out and find their food truck to sample from, then just let them know what you are looking for. You will be so glad you did. Thanks Dan and Silvia, you helped us complete our vision of what was a truly amazing day!

The deliveries have always been a great experience. Only thing I will note is they often come EARLY so maybe be prepared for that ? I don't use that against them since they come to Boston from Everette. They have lots of deliveries so they have to be precise when it comes to timing and I know that can be difficult. Better early than late :) Their food is worth the price. Happy to work with Rita's and will continue to feed my hungry department with their yummy food.

They were very knowledgeable about their offerings and additional services and their business in general. They also knew equally as much about their food ingredients; nutritional value, etc. That really impressed me and made me look forward to our upcoming Cinco De Maya event even more!
