Cindy and her staff arrived plenty of time before the event to setup tables and decor. Cindy did an amazing centerpiece (Mocha colored roses? inside a vintage birdcage!) which matched with the gorgeous table cloth color. She provided an awesome spread of food (veggie platter-came with asparagus!, cocktail shrimps, cheeses, crackers, **super yummy garlic flavored baguette**, pasta salad and much more). Staff did a great job refilling food as they were running low, which made it felt like we had unlimited about of shrimps :) And plenty of drinks to go around. Cindy was friendly and funny to talk to. She has great ideas about planning events and locations suggestions. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food that was provided. I am looking forward to work with Cindy again at other events! read more

This review is long overdue!! Cindy and her team did an amazing job at our wedding! My husband and I got married last June on the North Shore and Cindy and her team catered the wedding. I cannot say enough good things about the amazing job Cindy did in our special day! She was very easy to work with, punctual, thoughtful, and professional! The food was really wonderful. We got so many positive comments about the food which is rare for a wedding with 150 guests! Usually wedding food is bland and dry but all of the tenderloins and chicken were cooked perfectly! They did a great job dealing with any issues that came up through the evening such as guests who forgot what they ordered and so on! She brought a bar tending team as well who were tips certified and they were really on top of things throughout the night. They even managed to gauge the amount of alcohol needed to be put on ice which was nice since everything not iced at the end of the night we could return to our alcohol distributor for a refund! Cindy took care of so many little and big details and had a lot of great suggestions which made my DIY wedding so much less stressful such as ordering the glasses and dishes as well as renting ovens needed for the venue since my venue didn't have one! I was also so surprised the next morning when I went back to the venue to clean and found that Cindy ad her team even cleaned up a bunch of our decorations! The venue itself looked great and her team did a good job with furniture arrangements and place settings, everything looked amazing. Overall I would highly recommend catering to you for any event! I wish I could give Cindy and her team 10 stars, because they were really that amazing! We started planning our wedding last year and quickly chose Cindy because of her immediate dedicated interest in making our wedding special, how amazing her food was, and how good her price was. Then of course Covid hit, and Cindy worked with us to change the size of our wedding but still keep it special. When we had to change the location to my parent's backyard 48 hours before the wedding Cindy didn't blink an eye. She drove right over to my parents house and worked with my family to make our day beautiful. When we showed up on the wedding day I was almost speechless. Cindy and her team had decorated my parents' house so beautifully I almost didn't recognize it. Not only that, but she had all those decorations, linen, silverware, china, etc. already on hand so no expensive rentals! All of that is before we even tasted the food! The food was incredible. She catered to my family's many allergies and my request for it to be vegan friendly. She even incorporated our diverse cultures by adding latkes and samosas! Everyone raved about the food all night. Catered an entire weekend of events for our wedding. Because my side of the family is from the west coast they came to stay for a whole week, so Catering to You catered the rehearsal dinner, the reception, and the breakfast the morning after the wedding. The food was great, and we ended up using their off site venue for the rehearsal dinner and the breakfast which was this adorable parlor in a church in Brookline. Cindy met with my husband and I personally at least 3 times and was very open to all of the food ideas my husband gave her. He is a picky eater so I let him make the menu. The only draw back I have is that she was not the most professional during the events. My mother ended up taking the reins because I was busy with work and I was so glad that she did, but Cindy did not end up having the greatest relationship with her. Which hurt the most because my parents where gracious enough to pay for the food. She was not impressed, and it did not help that Cindy kept checking in with me about the details when she knew it was my mother who was planning it all. It was also a little intrusive, especially during the preparation for the ceremony when she kept asking me, the bride, things and checking in with me. I was so stressed I couldn't even think straight and she should have just talked with my mother. The breakfast was actually the only time the food was not good. Dunkin donut munckins and omelets that were not cooked all the way were not worth the extra $1000 my parents paid for the breakfast. She even did the center pieces for the reception which were great, and that was super helpful. Everyone raved about the food at the reception, she has fair pricings, but watch out for a few of those things. I liked working with her, my mom was not happy. :( read more

AMAZING. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Catered my wedding. They did an incredible job. People raved about the food all night long. They were professional, organized and courteous. And Cindy the owner is fabulous. We had stations, with salmon, beef tenderloin, tortellini and chicken with a peach salsa. Along with salads and rice and deliciousness. And everything, was really really good. and the price was the best you could imagine. Really the best price around by $10-$15 per person. And the food is really incredible. We were planning a wedding celebration from another state and I contacted 4 caterers in the Somerville MA area. While Catering to You was not the least expensive, it was not the most expensive and I am very, very happy with the outcome. Ms. Laney was a joy to work with. She was sensitive to our desires, the food was excellent, and service totally impeccable. She was not pushy about her agenda but rather worked with us to have a lovely event within budget and that reflected the couple's individual style. Again, the food and service was exceptional. We had a fantastic experience working with Catering To You for our March wedding at the Endicott Estate. We had a 100 person party, and served a buffet with both a Western menu and an Indian menu. (For anyone putting together a fusion wedding, Cindy has a standing relationship with an Indian caterer, a benefit when many American trained chefs we spoke with insisted they could make the Indian dishes too and failed to live up to our standards.) We worked with Cindy, and, throughout the planning process, Cindy was incredibly helpful, professional, and cheerful, with a very friendly and gregarious personality. The rest of the Catering To You team on the day of the wedding was great as well. Cindy worked with us to accomodate our ideas for the menu and the specifics we had in mind for the order of events. She also provided us creative suggestions for the things that we were doing ourselves, such as like decor, menu cards, etc. and thoughts on how we could save on unnecessary expenses. Cindy had a great eye for design, as well. The food from Catering To You was great and very warming, without being too rich or heavy, and was finished on site; our guests have complimented the meal in the weeks since. We also found that Catering To You was able to provide beautiful linens and dishes from their inventory, and so we didn't need to rent those from another provider. Finally, we were concerned about coordinating the other vendors' arrival and setup on the day of the wedding, and Cindy handled all of the day-of coordination; we didn't hire a separate day-of wedding planner. We also knew that we could face winter weather with a wedding in March, and Cindy assured us she would be ready to do whatever was needed to make sure all of the supplies and vendors got there. I have worked with her on many corporate functions (holiday parties, fund raisers, meetings, you name it) and every time she is prompt, professional, and wows everyone. She remembers everyone at my company and even makes deviled eggs, special, only for my boss, every time she is here. And they are damn delicious deviled eggs! Her centerpieces are always amazing. I have seen her do centerpieces that are truly over the top, but in an absolutely great way, and I have seen centerpieces that are demure and not meant to "steal the show". She always has beautiful fresh flowers that complement whatever yummy spread that she has laid out. The people that she brings with her are some of the best servers around and are always professional and friendly. I honestly can not say enough about how great she is to work with and how reasonable her prices are. If you need a caterer, make a beeline for this company.
