Everything is made from scratch and you can tell! They're constantly showcasing new recipes and…read moreflavors and you know there's no cake mix or shortening to be found! I absolutely love their buttercream frosting. It's not overly sweet. The Key lime pie is to die for, the cookies and bars are really tasty and portions are huge! They've added bagels and croissants for sandwiches, etc. And though I never really had bagel sandwiches before, the roast beef is fantastic and filling. Also, they are truly some of the nicest people I've ever met so it's nice to see them doing well at something they clearly love to do! Check them out and don't forget the iced coffee!!

Sugah Hill Bakery continues to set the bar for what a local bakery should be. Beyond their…read moreexceptional everyday pastries, this is a place that truly shines when it comes to beautiful custom-order cakes and outstanding pies. Their custom cakes are not only visually stunning--clearly made with precision and pride--but they also deliver where it matters most: flavor, texture, and balance. These are celebration-worthy cakes that look as good as they taste. The pies deserve special mention as well. Perfectly baked crusts, generous fillings, and flavors that feel classic yet elevated. Whether fruit-based or cream, they strike that rare balance between homemade comfort and professional execution. Across the board, everything here reflects care and craftsmanship. Cakes are moist and well-balanced, cupcakes are indulgent without being overly sweet, cookies hit that ideal texture, and specialty desserts never feel mass-produced or rushed. There's a clear understanding of restraint and technique--nothing gimmicky, just excellent baking. Consistency is another standout. Whether you're grabbing a quick treat or placing a custom order for a special occasion, the quality never wavers. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely proud of their work, and the shop itself is warm, clean, and welcoming. Sugah Hill Bakery isn't just a Hanover favorite--it's one of the standout bakeries on the South Shore. The kind of place you recommend confidently and return to often.

Have tried to rent the office space a few times. Perhaps they worked out the kinks but so far the staff hasn't figured out how to book them when I'm there. So basically gave up on that. Inside is sort of a mess. Always a ton of people there. Hard to figure where to stand when you're waiting. Seating always jammed. Sometimes the food and drinks are delivered separately so you have to listen for someone to whisper your name. Today the staff didn't greet my daughter and I. Blank staring at us to order. Got four bakery items. Was prepared to then order coffee but was told our total. No offer of drinks... at a coffee shop. Just blank stares and no engagement. So, no coffee I guess. Was easy to hit the no tip button. Ahhh the eye roll. So no greeting, bad body language and unrealistic expectations for additional compensation. Then we waited. Two groups behind us served first. I gave the new location a shot. Five times and I'm set for a long while. Too bad, I do like the burrata balsamic toast. It's plenty busy, plenty popular, and easy to drive past.

I frequent the area and usually end up at Doorknock Diner across the street, but having driven past…read morePour several times, and per the recommendation by a friend, I decided to stop in. The menu includes a simple array of coffee (hot and cold), an array of bagels with a variety of cream cheese options (I'm told the bacon scallion is excellent), and some breakfast sandwich options. I decided to go breakfast burrito as that's usually my go to breakfast item when it's available, and an iced coffee. The iced coffee tasted great, but the burrito, which I immediately regrettably noticed after I ordered is made with microwaved eggs, was only ok, not the best. I'll definitely be back to get an iced coffee next time in the area, but will skip the breakfast sandwiches and go for the bagels. For anyone desiring a cooked breakfast/ breakfast sandwiches, I recommend going across the street to Doorknock, but for bagels and coffee this place is pretty solid. *Cash only*

No advance ordering and looks like no POS System ... its the reason I do not go there. I can't wait 10 minutes to get a coffee and donut. Its a easy fix, yes with an investment, small I think based on how it would improve things.
