The brooksmill and clam chowder
Alea O.

Have been coming here for years and don't think Ive ever had a bad experience. I typically get the pilgrim or the brooksmill and they're always fantastic. But with any sandwich their rolls are spot on. Yesterday they had clam chowder and had to get it. It wasn't as thick as I would personally like but made up for it with how flavorful it was. I was very pleasantly surprised. Will be coming here for years and years to come.

McKenzie with added mayo and pickles

Stopped in this afternoon on the way back from a local craft fair. What a hidden gem. The decor and whole vibe is very country store and funky and the employees were all exceptionally kind and overall very happy to be there. The menu was unique, everything sounded amazing, and the quality of the food was excellent. I had the Mkenzine ( ham, Gouda, lettuce, tomato's and stone ground mustard) with added mayo an pickles. Soooo yummy, forced myself to eat the second half ,well after becoming full, because it was that good. Kate, was awesome and super helpful. I wanted to purchase a quiche but didn't realize it was set aside for a catering order. She was very sweet, told me about her favorite which is named after her, and said to call and she can make any kind I want. 10/10 experience. Definitely coming back here and bringing friends!

people in a store

Finally stopped by after years of contemplating it. I got a hot pastrami sandwich and my husband got a turkey gobbler. The hot pastrami was delicious and the bread they served it on was super soft. I see alot of people say how the sandwiches are large and most people eat only half. We actually met a guy out front who was eating a sandwich and he was saying how good the sandwiches are and he was bringing half home. Is it bad that I ate my WHOLE sandwich all by myself!! My husbands turkey gobbler was good but it would have been over the top IF the stuffing was warmed up! The only thing I would recommend for this place is to clear up the clutter. They have alot of old lunchboxes and they sell some other items but it's confusing, is it a store or a food place. Plus cleaning up the old lunchboxes would make it look cleaner and feel more presentable to eat in there. Yes I would totally go back when craving a good sandwich. They had what looked to be fresh made cookies. I will try those sometime too.

Not getting into a pissing match with you Steve. Plain and simple... you wrote a review based on NO…read moreclue of my business. When I sent you the first message explaining what happened you ignorantly ignored me. Nor did you take down the post that was again...inaccurate and could of ruined my business. Noticed you didn't include that message for all to see. Had my business not been in honor of my friend who died of Cancer and did a lot of good for the community I wouldn't of cared. You also personally attacked my poor sick husband when again you were ignorant to the facts. Even after apologizing and explaining you did not respond nor take down the inaccurate negative post. (message he didn't post...of course). Funny how when I called it spade to spade you responded then...lol. People like you need to be stopped. Some of your past posts about other establishments have been down right rude. And I'm sure inaccurate also. Again making people look dumb or lazy. Who the hell do you think you are? Phantom Gourmet? NOT !!! Harassment? Why? Cause I communicated the truth for everyone to see? Or didn't go sit in a corner and cry cause you tried to ruin my business? I still stand by every word. But will have to say sorry about the comment " fat in the cavity of your brain" (oops).... needed to add a little humor though....lol. We are getting way too serious Steve don't ya think?. And by the way...... I told you before Steve.... I am a wonderful nurse. And actually have an awesome bed side manner. I just don't have tolerance for people like you who think they are better than others and have nothing better to do but bash people they don't know and post inaccurate reviews to try to ruin their business. But I'm over it Steve.... lets just move on and call it a day. Unless you want to humor the people more. Sincerely, Nancy P.S. I don't care who says what or if you even call Oprah for that matter. Call every news station on the planet! I would be more than happy to sit down with anyone and explain where I'm coming from. Always wanted to be on a talk show. Maybe we could get on Jerry Springer!! That has always been such a dream of mine! Just try to have a good week Steve and remember.... try to be a little more considerate of others. And if someone apologizes for a misunderstanding dont still try to ruin their business. And acknowledge them for crying out loud silly. We could of avoided all this drama! xoxoxo

As soon as you drive into the ample parking lot, you are greeted with a working waterfall, the first of many located throughout the Garden Center. The front area of the Garden Center is filled with flowering and evergreen shrubs and smaller sized flowering trees. To the left of this area across the driveway are some of the most beautiful Japanese Red Maples and White Birch you will find in the area. They are all landscape size plants but small enough to take home with you, although delivery is available. You can also find an ample selection of white pine, blue spruce, fir, and Emerald Green Arborvitaes, perfect for screening out that neighbor or providing privacy on your deck. Across from the tree and shrub area is the entrance to the store chock full of your lawn, shrub and tree needs, be they seed, fertilizer or insect, weed and disease control as well as gardening tools. What's really nice inside are the bird feeders and houses, whimsical animal watering cans, wind chimes, sculptures and so much more including outdoor furniture. Walk to the back of the store and enter a courtyard with another waterfall and pond with Koi. The courtyard has birdbaths and fountains and is full of seasonal flowers with brick walkways leading to spacious greenhouses to the left and right filled with hanging baskets, annuals, perennials, houseplants and pottery. Outside the right facing greenhouse is an ample selection of sun and shade loving perennials including your favorites as well as choices you may have never seen before.
