I have visited Open Doors in Braintree mass on many occasions when I feel like I second-guess myself on my own intuition on my own healing, bright light. And I never leave there without feeling satisfied with my readings. And the very last time I was there, she explained to me that not only was a healer, in a sense I could help other people more. She inspired me. I bought my first two sets of tarot cards. I bought a beautiful Wind-chime that I leave on my deck it hangs over my deck gardens. This is my go to spiritual store. I have gotten readings, bought all of my crystals, books and so much more at this location. The staff are unbelievably knowledgeable, friendly, and give amazing advice. They are so personable and gracious when you walk in the door. I have received several tarot readings here and all of them have been amazing. Their policy is that within the first 5 minutes if you were not connecting you may receive a refund which to me speaks volumes because it is rare and far between that someone doesn't connect with their amazing readers! This is the store that I used to create my amazing altar that I have at home. I had such a wonderful experience at this shop! The stores location is easily accessible. When you walk in you instantly feel transported to a place that's safe from the outside world. I was so impressed by their inventory. I go to spiritual shops all the time all over the world and this was by far one of my favorites. When you walk in they have all of their Oracle cards, they have safe sprays and oils. They had crystal and chakra oils. They also had attraction spray which I just had to pick up. This location has an abundance of beautiful crystals on display. They have tumbled stones and raw stones. I was most impressed by the price! This place is one of the most reasonably priced stores I have ever visited. They also offer classes and tarot readings. I believe mediumship is also done at this location. Called this store last week to check availability of salt lamps and was told yes they do have them in stock. When I asked the sales person (Alana) that answered the phone if they were authentic and not "fake", the response I got was "well that's a silly question". Well guess what ALANA? It is NOT a silly question, as anyone who is familiar with salt lamps and their benefits knows. So typical in today's environment that customer service people do not know the products they are selling, don't care and basically are just not good at their job. Not to mention that ANYONE in a customer service position should EVER respond to a potential customer that way. I am in general very disappointed with Open Doors as it has become over the years. It was much better eight years ago. I find some of the staff can be jealous if each other and have negative energy when you walk through the door or over the phone. The staff can also be petty and narrow minded. A basic psychic or someone who reads the Akashic Records should have more humility. Only a Master Teacher understands the significance of the Akashic Records. I had a reading, which was really lovely, hence the two stars. TLDR; they wouldn't exchange a defective, unlightable candle, which I attempted to exchange within less than a week of purchase. My advice: go in for a reading; be wary of product purchase. Now here's the BUT, I bought a candle (on a Friday) which didn't stay lit. I'd say that is a defective product. I spoke with someone by phone (on that Sunday) that said I may be able to exchange it if I bring it in. I brought it in (on that Tuesday). The person at the counter looked at it and said that if I dug around the wick I might be able to get it to light again, but they wouldn't exchange it for me. Even though, according to MA law, "Defective merchandise must be accepted for return, regardless of any policy, and you must be given the option of a repair, replacement item or refund of the price". I called the following day (Wednesday: still less than a week of purchase), to see if I might talk to someone who could help me exchange my item and they told me that they MIGHT be able to exchange it once they test the product, but only if I brought it in that day. And also that they don't manufacture the candle so they aren't responsible for its quality (paraphrased). Being unable to go in that day, am I stuck with a defective, unlightable candle or being oh-so-very-Karenesque? Both? Lol. read more

I have been trying to get in with Mario now for months but our schedules always never worked out. Mario when I tell you this is incredible! He gave me so much guidance and knowledge I never realized about myself that I left feeling so calm. His warm welcoming personality was so easy to follow especially with my anxiety. I have paid five times as much for longer and less informative, less precise readings from 'masters.' Mario is accurate, authentic, attuned, a lovely human being, and presents a wise, humble, and true representation of his gifts and the limits to them (e.g. 'not a doctor'), as well as the client's agency in matters. If anyone has the shine and has refined their gifts with practice and training, it's Mario; additionally, he gives a real, grounded, trustworthy, caring, lovely vibe. All interpretations of current matters that were spot-on, and many I had presented zero information about. I'm an indecisive shopper but he followed me around the store from the time I came in (acting like he was putting away items) until the time I left due to changing my mind once I noticed he was my "little dark shadow." Went in for a 30 minute read, it was my first time going there for a read. I saw positive reviews for Marie so I decided to get a read with her. I was also with someone else who got read by Marie right after I did. She was very kind however she was extremely vague. I was fairly disappointed with how vague it was. I wasn't even in there for 30 minutes, maybe 20. I felt like half the time she was just saying I was pretty and kind and have a big heart, she must have repeated that many times, which is not what the read was about. The person I was with who went in after me said Marie asked her about her son, which she doesn't have. And then said oh I mean your daughter, which she also doesn't have. Then said something about her brother and his wife; her brother is not married. Her reading was very off. 40$ for a 30 minute read that was vague and didn't even last 30 minutes. I wouldn't recommend. We both felt the same way. That being said the people were all very nice and friendly. Nothing personal. And the shop is very cute, with a lot to offer. read more

I went here to check out the free Reiki they do on Tuesday nights. During a seminar I've been taking I've heard alot about Reiki & wanted to learn more and experience it first "hand" (dun dun dun! zing). The store is cool. I bought a rock or a gem for $2.99. It reminded me of my obsession with quartz rocks as a freaky 7 year old. The book section is pretty good. And there is alot of stuff. Like everything you could ever want from a crazy, hippie, wiccan, herb, yoga clothes, school store. the Reiki session was awesome. I wanted to be one of those people who cries when they get reiki (much similar to when I wanted a cast on my arm or get braces as a kid) but I didn't. Unprofessional. Violated HIPPA, by asking if I was vaccinated then continued to question/ interrogate me and make myself explain my personal health choices. They asked me to explain why I'm waiting so long, why I don't want the vax, and why I am doing my own research. (If they were that concerned about my vax status then they should've mentioned that prior to booking) I tried to overlook this uncomfortable situation and give the psychic the benefit of the doubt. But the entire reading ended up being so useless and going no where. I don't know if they just neglected my reading for not being vaccinated/having different views than them.. or maybe they really just give awful pointless readings? I've been coming here for about 2 or 3 years sporadically, but I always enjoy the visit. There's a calming, welcoming atmosphere. I've attended a couple of workshops, which were really cool. They often offer a discount if you sign up early, which is a plus. They have lots of items for purchase that I absolutely love. They have all kinds of crystals, candles, scented oils, books, herbs, jewelry, tarot cards, etc. I purchased some really cool gifts like their crystals, candles, scented body oils, and others. I'm in LOVE with the Egyptian Goddess oil. Speaking of which, I have to go back and buy some soon. The store always smells of incense, and is quiet with the occasional light music heard over head. The reiki services are awesome. I've been twice already, and it's very calming. The practitioners that I've worked with were very sweet and comforting. I've utilized the services of 4 different psychics there. A few times, I was told something that absolutely did come to pass later, but for the most part, I received advice on how to handle things that I was dealing with in my life at the time. It was almost therapeutic. My readings fit my life a great deal of the time, but not 100% as far as I know. Maybe they just haven't manifested yet. (?) This place is awesome.
