My very first experience with ASIAN MOYZILLA FOOD TRUCK, at an Event in Quincy Pageant Field on Saturday June 26, 2026! Asian Street Food & Dumplings! Not sure what I should choose so I asked the person when ordering and I told him what he would suggest but all is very tasty but he wanted me to try Fried Chicken and Garlic Noodles with a side Salad and the wait was quick and freshly made for me and when he handed my food, the cost was $15 and very Reasonable I sat at a picnic table and when I opened my box I was truly impressed it was nicely served and it was generous! My first bite was amazing! Great flavors and texture and the chicken crunchy and moist! The noodles was my biggest surprise it was perfectly cooked seasoned and I could have gone back and ordered another! That's how tasty it was! I hope to follow this food truck to there next Venue! It has been a couple of years because we just haven't run into the Moyzilla truck! - We were excited to revisit it at the holiday stroll at salvage angel last weekend. The meal boxes are as good as ever. The garlic noodles, sauce, dumplings and salad dressing are still delicious. A Good amount of food for a good price and so satisfying. read more

We attended the Salem, MA, food truck festival on Sunday and wanted to sample many different trucks. The truck caught my eye, and we settled on the side of pork dumplings. One of my favorite places to eat in Boston. Such a good experience. Jon and his team never disappoint. The Dumplings are so good and all the meals boxes are amazing (the Japanese Fried Chicken is my favorite). The team is always super friendly and the food is always delicious. I have also had them cater a few meals for my office. The food arrived just a bit early so they could set up before the rush and the food tasted just as good as when you order from the truck. We ordered pork dumplings from Moyzilla food truck insida SoWa for our kids and when we got it, the pork inside was bright pink.. Like ran under hot water for 10 seconds and then served. we opened all 4 dumplings to check and they all looked the same. We went back to tell the employees to try to get a refund and the response I got from the "chef" was "All of our dumplings are actually temperature cooked for 2 days and cured in red miso so that's why the meat is pink." Not very good persuading skills from him as we ended up throwing the entire dish away without taking a single bite. No refund was given also.. read more

Love Moyzilla so much I had them in to cater at work! The booking was super easy, emailing with their team was prompt and helpful. The delivery team was punctual and knowledgeable - food arrived hot, delicious and on time and with plenty of sauces and utensils. They even offer more options on their catering menu vs. their regular truck menu (the Korean BBQ chicken and brussel sprouts were crack!) Everyone in my office is now a fan of Moyzilla. Very disappointed with today's lunch order (Vegetable Dumpling box) which is supposed to come with scallion fried rice or noodles and Asian slaw. When I opened my box, I was surprised to see a small salad instead of the slaw on the menu. If they ran out, it would've been helpful to know that when I ordered, I likely would have changed my order. The spring mix was quite limp & underneath the top layer of green leaves, there were many (at least a third if not more) dark & slimy ones, especially the spinach leaves. Clearly past their prime - they really should not be serving that to customers. I did appreciate that the salad was not overly dressed. The dumplings are tiny, and you only get 4 in the order. The dumpling dipping sauce was good. The fried rice was flavorless & pale in color. The portion of rice was big, so disproportionate to the rest of the meal. read more

My co-worker and I came here for lunch on a Wednesday. The service here is very speedy so you don't have to worry about cutting into your lunch time! :- ) I ordered the vegetable dumplings meal box which came with four pieces of dumplings, a choice of rice or garlic noodles, and a side of vegetable slaw. My total came out to be $9.63. The dumplings were yummy, perfectly fried, and not at all greasy! They were filled with diced edamame, carrots, and cabbage. I was hoping for more dumplings, though! The rice it came with was plain but paired very well with the dumpling dipping sauce. The vegetable slaw was dry and pretty bland. The yin and yang of Moyzilla: The noodles are garlicky, salty and tasty, but a bit mushy and wet for my liking. The fried chicken is very crispy even when topped with the mayonnaise based sauce, but I bit into unpleasant grizzle in nearly 1/3 of the pieces. I'd prefer white meat chicken to the dark meat - or at least do a better job trimming the dark meat. The slaw is refreshing given the heaviness of everything else. Quick and tasty! Moyzilla is a local food truck around the Boston area that serves some yummy easy-to-eat Asian fusion food. Garlic Noodles w/ Korean BBQ Chicken- It didn't taste like your typical Korean BBQ because it was really sweet (reminded me of Brazilian BBQ) but it was still delicious! The noodles was great and the napa cabbage was fresh. I felt like the portion was surprising small and didn't compensate the price. Everything is flavorful. 4 stars because every so often there is a small issue, such as missing spring rolls or undressed slaw, rice instead of noodles, but from a truck with the volume of customers and food they put out it is expected. I been waiting to try Moyzilla since I kept reading the karage chicken is amazing!!! Unfortunately the experience fell short of my expectations. I even waited 30 minutes in line! While the pieces are very big, it was kind of dry inside. It was like fighting with the chicken itself trying to tear the piece off. If I was to eat the whole piece in one bite it would not be a pretty sight! The garlic noodles were okay, not too much taste. Would I go back? Probably not. My friend really liked it though. I've had a lot of karage chickens and she hasn't. Wish I had liked it more! Would be a good lunch option as it's not crazy expensive at $9 a combo. Not too bad for good portions. I was not crazy about the dumplings, Chinatown takes the top prize in Boston for those. I've gotten lunch here 3 times now, and I have to say this is probably some of the best fusion food truck food I've gotten in the small sphere of food trucks outside South Station. First, it's my duty to highlight the chicken. The fried chicken. The twice fried chicken. My first bite of the chicken is an orgasmic implosion of crunch and juice. Freshly made, the piping hot golden brown chicken is a must get. A great rendition of Japanese Karaage. Second, the dumplings. These were so so - definately can't beat places in chinatown but it's great variety to add to your meal. Third - the special. Kimchi bulgogi cheesesteak, a phrase straight out of my wildest imaginations. This is something you you just need to get if it's available as a special. If you're banger like me, you'll get this and a side of fried chicken. Oh baby, I better be doing cardio tonight! Cons: - Long lines: 20-30 min peak lunch from 12-1 - The 'meals' ($9) don't come with a lot of chicken or dumplings. This is a review based on an event at my university where they were catering. On the menu for the night, we got a sampler of a spring roll, fried chicken, and a dumpling. Chicken was amazing. It was bite size pieces, which were freshly fried and therefore piping hot! They were not over-breaded, and not over-sauced. Speaking of which, the spicy sauce they use adds just the right amount of heat. If you like your food extra spicy, they did have sriracha available. Chicken was cooked perfectly! Dumpling and spring roll were good. They were cooked well, and balanced. However, they were nothing special, either that, or the chicken was so dang good, that if left the poor spring rolls and dumpling in the dust! I greatly look forward to visiting this place during normal operation, and seeing what other amazing things they have to offer. I've wanted to try the Moyzilla Food truck forever but never was able to make it work until today. My food truck dining partner and I took off on our lunch breaks to visit the truck near the Alewife station. We got there around 12:30 and it wasn't too busy. The wait was pretty long though. Not sure what happened as a man waiting said it never took this long. The wait probably seemed longer as it was raining but it was at least 15 minutes. For food we went with a variety. We got a spring roll (greasy), Japanese fried chicken (the winner, especially the spicy sauce), garlic noodles (okay), Asian slaw salad (very nice) and dumplings (way over cooked to the point they were blackened completely, yuck). I'd give the food 3.5 stars. Nothing special. I can see the appeal if you're working in the area and can run down to the truck for a quick meal but for me going out of my way to find it I really wanted a bit better service and quality. Price was just okay (a little expensive but they do take cards which is a bonus) and portions weren't that big (all of our items fit in the same box). The dumplings are good. Very good. Seared to a golden brown, moist and savory inside. Dipped in the soy sauce they give you, I could eat them for hours. I wouldn't have any problem with just ordering a couple sides of the dumplings alone, and skipping the noodles and other sides that come with the meal box. The slaw is meant to be a clean, refreshing counterpart to an otherwise heavy and salty dish, but it wasn't dressed enough for me. Just felt more like I was eating raw, hard lettuce that didn't blend well with the rest of the ingredients in the box. If I could swap out the slaw with the noodles, I'd prefer that. The noodles are a great base to the meal box. A greasy, slightly garlicky, savory distraction to help you ration the dumplings so you can run out of noodles at the same time you run out of dumplings. They bring out some flavor in the slaw if you mix them together. For an extra dollar you can add a spring roll. It's a standard spring roll; nothing incredible but still tasty. Worth the extra dollar. It's a great way to use the rest of the sesame ginger soy dipping sauce, after your dumplings have been annihilated. Overall a very strong truck: one of the better trucks in Boston. Great food, it comes out fast, and the staff is polite: "Have a good meal!" as they give you your food. For a quick-service food truck, I can look past the undressed slaw to give them a solid four stars. A fair warning, the line for this truck gets extremely long. Show up early! read more

A great food truck discovery at the SoWa marketplace. I was craving something Asian and there weren't many options but Moyzilla was hiding in the corner and caught my eye. The noodles were delicious as well and combined perfectly with the chicken. A highlight of the dish was also the asian slaw that they provided. The acidic vinaigrette that was on the asian slaw balanced the entire meal out. It was kind of hard to believe this was only $9 for the amount of food that they provided. Freshly made box lunches featuring ample servings and what could be the most adorable spokesbeast on the streets of Boston. Four packed-full-of pork dumplings, steamed and fried for that tacky, chewy texture, a handful of tender, well-seasoned noodles, Asian slaw and a bonus spring roll - all for $9. A little dissuaded by the off mashups of Buffalo Chicken or cheeseburger dumplings (Moyzilla style), but I might sing a different tune if I ever passed by the truck after a Boylston bar crawl. Also, the slaw is more of a salad - with romaine outleaving radicchio or any other base, and the dressing tasting more of a mustard vinaigrette. Still flavorful and crisp, just a point of nomenclature and greenery expectations. The spring roll, noodles and dumplings are worth their weight in, well, them. Good shtuff. Cards are accepted via Square, but why bother? With a bottle of water, you're looking at a $10 lunch. I have been following Moyzilla on Twitter and drooling over their pictures of handmade dumplings, noodles, fried rice and chicken/beef skewers for quite some time now. I work in the Financial District and sample the many food trucks on a regular basis but I was really excited about Moyzilla since dumplings are one of my all time favorite foods. I tried the Moyzilla Meal Box - 4 pork and chive dumplings with stir fried noodles and homemade Asian slaw. First of all the entire meal was only $8 and you get SO much food! Second of all, the food is fresh and the dumplings are the perfect texture which only comes from being handmade on site. The staff working the truck were really friendly and they had quite the line out front! My first experience with the food truck festival on Sundays - lots of options but with the sun beating down in the afternoon, the smaller the line the better. Moyzilla seemed to be the newbie of the bunch, thus creating a small palpable line. With little to go on, ordered the "Colossal Katsu Sandwich" ($8) and a mango oolong iced tea ($3ish). Took about 10 minutes to make with a friendly server lady standing outside the truck to hand out the orders. Katsu sandwich was indeed a colossal piece of meat. Nicely browned and served with a soft yet crunchy roll and a sweet lather of sauce. A very satisfying meal that didn't leave me unable to walk. The mango iced tea was incredibly sweet at first, then completely flavorless, then a huge kick of mango at the end. I guess you have to stir the hell out of it first (wish I had known that). I've been able to frequent the food truck a few times now whenever it sets up shop in the BMC/South end area. Service is always fast, but then again i tend to come outside the peak lunch rush. My go to is the garlic noodles with fried chicken and slaw. I love how the fried chicken will come out hot with the aoili mayo slathered on top. It works well with the ever-so-slightly tangy slaw of Asian vegetables. The noodles are all right, nothing spectacular as a starch. I do love that they have a bottle of Sriracha on hand, which I go to town on. I have yet to try their other options, but I am intrigued to try their dumplings (which is one of the main proteins for entrees). read more

The japanese fried chicken with aioli sauce on a bed of fried noodles is delicious. It's similar to popcorn chicken, but the meat is more tender and the sauce just gives it a little spicy kick. There was also more meat than there was fried batter. I got it twice already, and I am still thinking about it. The spring roll wasn't bad at all. It was nicely fried, not burnt nor dry. Sad news was I didn't get to try the mango soda that everyone raved about. I got the lime rickey instead and it was just as refreshing. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. The truck caters for my work on a regular basis. Once we get the email letting us know they're coming there's a collective cheer within the office. I've had both the Classic Dumplings and Japanese Fried chicken. You can't go wrong with either. We have about 150 people in the office and the crew always handle it like it's a walk in the park, top notch service (my co-worker has an allergy and they were able to fully explain and accommodate). I got the meal box for $8 and they have 2 choices, I chose the Dumplings with garlic noodles and it comes with Asian slaw. The dumplings were pan fried just right- crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and try do not skimp on the filling. The garlic noodles weren't overly garlicky and they gave a good portion. The Asian slaw was delicious and added a nice freshness to the meal box. I will def try them again. The guys in the truck were very helpful and friendly, it made the process so much easier.
