Yummy! First time trying Hui Lau Shan since there's not one in my home town. It's a Hong Kong company known for their handmade mango desserts. I got the jumbo pomelo mango sago and I liked the balance between the slightly tart pomelo and sweet mango, but it's not overly sweet. This shop is located in the Food Court of the Galleria mall.

So good, I came here 2x on vacation. My kids loved their rice balls and I was obsessed with the mango coconut jelly. Not too sweet, and yet so refreshing

I've loved every single Hui Lau Shan I've been to. The og spot on Bellaire is always popping but if you're too lazy to make the drive or if you want something refreshing and not too sweet while you're shopping at the Galleria - come show this place some love. These kind of desserts are still pretty unknown/not as popular as your typical boba milk tea but I promise you won't be disappointed. The workers are so nice and this place needs the same popularity it gets at other locations

We ordered their mango coconut smoothies drink and it wasn't disappointed. Earlier we has a sample of this drink and their mango mochi. I wasn't feeling the mochi sample since I was full with lunch so we just had the smoothies. The drink was not sweet which I liked. I can taste both the mango and coconut really well. The good thing is that this galleria location is not too crowded. I heard from a friend that the there could be a bit of a wait at the Bellaire location.

Stopped here to grab a quick dessert and it did not disappoint. If you like mango and coconut, they have the best desserts! I got the coconut jelly with mango and loved it! It's not too sweet and all the topping were delicious. Service was quick and nice. Will definitely be back again!

I am in love with this mango dessert shop! I have been to the MKT location many times and was pleasantly surprised to see that this location is in the Galleria food court! I wish every mall had a Hui Lau Shan in their food court! The ambiance is pretty typical of a mall court, and the seating was ample and clean. The cashier had samples of the coconut juice with mango smoothie which I had never tried previously. She was super friendly and knowledgeable. The coconut flavor was strong and delicious and it paired perfectly with the mango. I ended up ordering my go-to, which is the pomelo and mango with sago. Pomelo is almost like a grapefruit but sweeter in my opinion. The tartness and texture of the pomelo pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the mango and chewiness of the sago. I also ordered mango and coconut juice with aloe jelly. This was spectacular and not too sweet. The coconut flavor was delightful and it harmoniously blended with the mango and the aloe jelly. My diagnosis: spectacular mango dessert shop that offers many delicious options - not only flavors but types of desserts as well.

As a mango afficianado (but spelling failure), I tend to always find myself back at a Hui Lau Shan when I'm nearby. I love that there's a stall in the Galleria now so I can always grab a dessert, drink, snack of some sort and get my mango fix. This location is a quick order and go spot as part of the food court in the Galleria. The staff have always been nice and patient with me as I try and contain myself when ordering. Their mango items are all better during mango season (summerish) but I still enjoy them out of season. They've expanded to have some other Canto desserts like black sesame porridge (jimawu) so I'll have to come back and try those in the future.

Love it! When I walked by Hui Lau Shan, the lady in the front was so kind and offered us free samples of the mango pineapple smoothie. It was so delicious and we ordered 2 smoothies with sago. They made the drinks very quickly. The cashier was very friendly and made the experience even better. 10/10 would recommend! Food: 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Pleasantly surprised to see this in the food court. I know this from my visits to HK and it is always a treat. Staff were very nice. Samples of whole mango mochi and pancakes. Got the pomelo and mango sago which is a traditional dish of theirs. Comes with mango ice cream, coconut like syrup milk with the sago (think teeny tapioca balls) and pomelo and mango bits. Was pretty consistent with what I remember in HK. Price is expected for the US. Always a treat.

Was walking towards Teahouse...but the sweet lady at the counter got us with samples being given out! I got a C7. Coconut Jelly With Black Glutinous Rice C7 in bag. To me this thing taste a lot better than it looks. I love sticky rice but like a version of this that this place doesn't carry (more soupy and without the coconut jelly) My daughter got the D3. Pomelo&Mango Juice With Aloe Jelly (she said it's a 4.45 haha since she's just read about decimals, ratios and percentages- can't give just a whole #!) I tend to always get the D6. Aloe &Aloe Jelly In Watermelon Juice when I end up here and can't make it a few more steps to Teahouse. Oh well, I like both places. Teahouse has more rewards/ customer loyalty points that they seem to give out tho. I'll be there tomorrow or some other time! I have a few places I like to rotate between!

You order at the counter and the server will bring the food out to you. We got chicken and waffle & chicken and pancake, French toast with side of scrambled eggs, and an iced lavender latte and English breakfast hot tea. The food & drinks quickly came out, which is always greatly appreciated when dining with kids. The chicken was a generous portion and juicy. The butter had a unique flavor and paired well with the chicken. The pancake and waffle were also big portions. The latte was sweet and well balanced. The manager came around checking on us and was very attentive when I needed to request an extra cup of hot water for our tea. The floral wall decor and light fixture gives such a cozy vibe. Service was top notch and friendly! We definitely will consider coming back soon again.

Visited for brunch around 2pm on a Saturday as a party of 3…read more Overall, menu has a lot of variety and we appreciated both lunch and breakfast available all day. Portions are large/filling and we felt the food was delicious and a good value for money. When we arrived the line was long and menus were not available so we had to search for the menu on the website to avoid deciding at the counter and holding up the people behind us. After ordering, tables were cleaned consistently and service was friendly. Only feedback about seating was outside parties would take chairs from other tables and leave them with no seating and not all tables we're shaded. The drinks being available at the bar when it is busy and then food being delivered to the table was a bit clunky. I picked up water and utensils for our party before sitting and would have preferred to have to pick everything up at the counter or have everything brought to the table to avoid multiple trips around when the restaurant is busy.
