I like all the variety of mochi and the unique flavors. Our favorites were the taro cream, Nutella and chocolate flavors. the fresh fruit ones were too hard for me. The only downside is it's pricey for one mochi $6 but buy five get one free. I also was a little sad that you can only eat them same day and they don't keep in the fridge to be enjoyed later.

The mochi was very soft and chewy. Durian puree was soft, creamy, and sweet. Fresh Mango was thickly cut but a little tart. The Dubai Chocolate was crunchy from the crispy kadayif-halal marshmallow-pistachio butter mix that was encased in a thick Belgian dark chocolate shell wrapped in a thin layer of mochi, then coated in chocolate powder. The taste leaned more on the chocolate than the pistachio butter. The peanut-sesame-sugar mix is a loose filling that isn't too sweet. The sesame-peanut mix is a very wet fulling. They offer a "Buy 5 and get 1 free" mochi deal.

Wow the mochi here are so bomb, they're like $3-4 bucks a pop but totally worth it. The ones with fresh fruit always have the sweetest juiciest fruit, but my personal favorite is the Creme brûlée mochi, soooo good with the bits of the torched sugar in the cream. The mango pomelo cream mochi are also amazing. Highly recommend

omgggg. sooooooo good!! The mochi was super soft, pillowy, stretchy, and chewy. It felt perfect to me. My favorite one was the mango mochi and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I prefer the fruit mochis over any of the ones that have a crunch in them like the pistachio one and chocolate one. The vanilla cream puff was also oh so good. Had a great amount of vanilla cream inside and the outside was nice a crispy. Service was fast, you kind of just point and choose.

Finally tried Lomichi! They are located inside Jusgo right before the market. They are known for their mochi and I decided to try one since i was already there. I also got their mango sago drink and it was like the typical mango smoothie with sago inside of it. I didn't think it was anything special, probably would've been better if I got the version with the diced mango and coconut jelly. For the mochi, I decided to keep it simple and just try their mango pomelo mochi. The mochi wrapper was so soft, bouncy, and chewy. Inside is filled with delicious mango cream and bits of pomelo. I really enjoyed this one. For some reason I thought there was going to be mango chunks inside of here but this was good nonetheless. However, it is a bit pricey here, I think the mochi is good on special occasions. They're also building a new location in Chinatown on bellaire.

Located in the food court of the Jusgo, Lomichi is a small store. Everything is super cute and they have a lot of options. They have a buy 5 get 1 free for mochi and cream puffs. I got 6 mochi. I really wanted to get the lychee ice cream but 6 mochi was already a lot of sweets. Fresh strawberry: classic, simple, great juicy and sweet strawberry, super soft mochi Golden kiwi: recommended by the staff, simple and easy Passionfruit lychee: passionfruit cream with lychee popping boba. Nice and fruity, a bit strange in flavor. Dubai chocolate: the chocolate shell hardened but worked well with the pistachio cream and kanafe. Can't really go wrong with Dubai chocolate, but this was also twice as much in cost compared to the others. Crunchy chocolate: they had run out when I got there but were making a fresh batch that they got out pretty quickly. The filling is super interesting, works well. Black sesame peanut: to be honest, didn't actually get to try this one because by the time I got to it, it had hardened and was spilling. But overall, what I did taste was smooth and not too cloying. Will need to be back to try their other options!

Right inside Jusgo to the right so pretty much a grab 'n' go kinda place, but their mochi is legit. Soft, perfect texture, not too sticky. Cream puffs are worth trying too. As for the mochi, any of the fruit ones. Really like the mango sago cream. The yuzu cheesecake is great too though the yuzu packs a punch. I didn't love the Dubai chocolate one. The only tip I'd give is you really wanna make sure to eat on the same day. Once you put it in the fridge the texture gets thrown off cause it's a pretty delicate balance. Even when you bring it to room temp. Definitely a fan now!

I've been a fan before their rebranding from Mia's Goodies to Lomichi and absolutely adore this place. It is located within Jusgo Supermarket and tucked inside the front retail/restaurant space. Since the new storefront has been in service, there aren't any tables/dining space to enjoy the goods at with friends/family on the spot, so I think they're aiming for to-go only, which is totally fine. The variety of Asian flavored desserts across their line of cream puffs, mochi, sago, and ice cream has always been top notch. My favorite mochi are mango, black sesame, and matcha/hojicha. My favorite ice cream is black sesame, salted dried plum, and mango sticky rice. My favorite cream puff is matcha. My favorite sago is mango and taro with coconut jelly. I also love it when they make special flavors or something that's not typically on the menu. Such a special treat! So glad to have this shop in Sugar Land, the perfect land to be sweet! Friendly and efficient staff, happy and ready to serve customers!

Obsessed. Mochi dessert is blowing up in Asia right now and has reached many major cities in the U.S., but Houston has not caught on yet. So glad I stopped by this place after seeing people talk about their various mochi options. Before we get to the mochi, I feel their ice cream deserves an honorable mention. They have various Asian options like durian, mango sticky rice, hong kong milk tea, and matcha. The HK milk tea and matcha flavor was strong, almost like a condensed version of the drink. To my surprise, they also have the option of wrapping your ice cream scoop in mochi, something I've seen a lot on Tiktok in other cities. Naturally, I had to get it. It was my first time trying fresh mochi ice cream like this, and it 100% delivered. The strong milk tea flavor and soft ice cream in a shell of thin chewy mochi was what dreams are made of. I also got a variety of mochi, including grape, mango pomelo cream, persimmon, and yuzu cheesecake. Every single one of them has been delicious. The mochi itself is not too sweet, perfectly chewy, and just the perfect amount of thickness so it never overpower the filling. The fruit ones are perfectly ripe, bite size, and have a nice crunch. The cream ones are more indulgent albeit maintaining a fluffy and airy texture, and most importantly, not too sweet. The only downside is that it is very much a grab and go spot with no space to dine in, so you either have to devour the mochi in your car or at home.

So this place is where Mia's Goodies use to be inside Jusgo. Service is GREAT super nice. The drinks were awesome we got a mango one the filling on the mochi is delicious but the mochi it self was a little too soft for me. Next time I'll grab a cream puff and lyk.

Lomichi is my favorite dessert shop in Sugar Land. They were previously under the name Mia's Goodies, but recently rebranded themselves to Lomichi. They sell the same recipe of mochi and creampuffs as before. They are located inside Jusgo market and is a must stop for me every time I am shopping or eating in there. I first fell in love with Mia's/Lomichi because of their cream puffs. I have never had a cream puff so flaky and soft with the perfect crunch on top. The inside of each cream puff is creamy, not too sweet, and just such a nice bite to indulge in. I've tried many of their flavors now and really thing you can't go wrong with any of them, but I especially love their classic vanilla and matcha flavors. The mochi is the other big thing that they feature. Their mochi recipe makes the softest mochi ever that really reminds me of mochi from Asia street vendors. The have a lot of Japanese style ones with whole strawberry, mango, muskat grape, persimmon, durian, etc inside. They also have some cream filled ones that I absolutely love as well (one of my favs is the mango pomelo). I also tried their mango sticky rice ice cream once and it was a nice surprise. It seems like they get their ice cream tins from another company, but they made their own sticky rice to add to the ice cream which had such a good texture and really rounded out the dessert for me. I have put a lot of friends onto this Sugar Land gem and I hope that people continue to visit because this small business deserves all the love that it can get. Service is also so sweet and fast too.

I was so sad when Mia's Goodies closed, but was hopeful since they mentioned it was temporary and they'll come back. They finally did and rebranded as 'Lomichi', but this time with ICE CREAM and more variety of mochi! They're located inside of Jusgo Market in Sugarland, and are so worth the visit. The new shop is a bit more spacious with a bigger display since they have a lot more flavors and items. I came for the infamous mochi, but when I saw the ice cream, I just had to get a scoop or two. The flavors are so unique, you probably can't find them anywhere else like salted plum and salted egg custard ice cream (tried it and it's good!). We were also told that they make all their ice cream in-house! We got 2 scoops: durian and mango sticky rice. If you order the mango stick rice scoop, they also add a bit of sticky rice. I freaking loved it. I'm a texture person so this was perfect for me. The durian was very spot on, and no artificial taste. Not gonna lie, the scoops are pretty expensive - ranging from $4 and up. You get a dollar off if you get an extra scoop. My two scoops ended up about $10. Is it worth it? I would think so! Treat yourself out to some good ice cream. Promise you won't regret it. I'll definitely be back to try the new mochi flavors.

Honestly, it's so simple yet it satisfy my cravings. Semi-sweet mochi. I haven't had any that's over the top sweet so perfect for Asian palates. Prices are higher end but it's Sugar Land. No seating area besides 2 stools by the LED sign (can never take a picture of it since it's always occupied by elderlies). Best eaten right away in the parking lot or refrigerate. It never make pass the next day so I don't know if it will do well or if it's good frozen. Make sure you bring a cooler with you if you have other errands after. These mochi should be kept cool-cold! If you're having trouble finding it, it's inside the Jugso market, close to Malaysian Restaurant (also, inside the plaza market) and semi-in-front of the actual market. It's small but pink so it stands out. There's usually some sort of line no matter what time you go. The cashiers are the front are always friendly. Strawberry mochi - good but not great, mainly due to their strawberry selection is not sweet. Black sesame mochi - my personal number one pick. I love black sesame so that's why. It's semi-sweet goey goodness. It also reminds me of a Hong Kong dessert I grew up eating. Mango pomelo mochi - another favorite of mine. Mango pomelo is just an amazing combo. It's semi-sweet. Yuzi cheesecake mochi - sweetest of the bunch. You get that sweet cheesecake flavor with graham but with a citrus kick to it. Passion lychee mochi - the flavor is there but my least favorite. It has a weird aftertaste. Though, the popping boba was a surprise. Red bean mochi - not sweet at all so if you're visiting an older Asian house afterward, get this so you won't get scold at for eating sweets. Personally, I like it but wish there was a hint of sweetness to it. Just a hint. Haven't personally tried their drinks, puff creams, or ice cream yet but I don't see why I wouldn't in the near future. Plenty of parking. If you happen to be in the area, it's a nice treat to get.

I haven't redeemed any rewards in several months because I've been overseas, so I wasn't sure whether I simply scanned the code or if there was another step involved. Instead of explaining the process, he repeatedly pointed at the screen and said, it's right here. When I asked for clarification, he continued to respond the same way without actually explaining what I needed to do. His tone and mannerisms made me feel as though I was being treated like an inconvenience for asking a simple question. Not every customer is familiar with the app, and some may be using rewards for the first time. A little patience and clearer communication would have gone a long way. The experience was made more frustrating by the long wait beforehand. There were only two cashiers working and the customer ahead of me spent several minutes at the register asking questions. Another cashier was also helping a customer who needed additional assistance. While I understand that questions happen and employees do their best, waiting a considerable amount of time only to receive dismissive customer service was disappointing. Good customer service isn't just about completing a transaction--it's about helping customers understand the process and making them feel welcome. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during this visit.
