My husband and I are on a mission to find the best Mango Green Tea boba in Houston! Naturally, that led us to try out Jade's Tea House for the first time. We both ordered the Mango Green Tea with less ice, although mine was 50% sugar with Mango Jelly and his was 25% sugar with Mango Popping Boba. BOTH of these drinks tasted as if they had 0% sugar... and, at the very least, they shouldn't have tasted the same as they were supposed to have different levels of sugar, which would produce a slightly different flavor. Additionally, the tea tasted a bit watered down from the very beginning, which wasn't pleasant. Our results: not sweet enough nor tasty enough to warrant a return. Maybe their other boba types are better, but their Mango Green Tea did not hit the spot. The staff was nice, so at least they have that going for them!

I was in the mood for a refreshing tea today and decided to try Jade's Tea House just a few doors down from Boudreaux's on West Loop. This quaint little place offered a good selection of drinks and food, but I had one thing in mind, a Lavendar Milk Tea and it did not disappoint. This tea house offered a selection of toppings for the drink, I'm not a Boba lover, but I did try the Strawberry Pop, which were little juice filled balls, to go in my drink. I loved them! Not many people were in the restaurant so I received my order promptly. Service was quick and friendly. For just a little over $6, it was a delicious treat to have. I will definitely be back. If you're looking for a cool place to grab Tea, check out Jade's Tea House!

A very delicious mango green tea to combat the Houston heat! :) This restaurant was very clean and the customer service was great! Plenty of parking and very easy trail to the neighborhood if you live in the area to walk to.

Signature fruit tea I get it at least once a week. It has peach slices, citrus jam, strawberry pieces. Absolutely amazing if you like fruit tea. Customer service is great too, they are very patient when you ask questions and don't try to rush your decision. I've also tried the popcorn chicken and sesame balls. Both delicious! Although they're listed as snacks, the popcorn chicken does fill me up, definitely shareable. I have been raving about Jade's to my family and now everyone loves this place. Give it a try if you're in the area.

I have gone to Jades Teahouse multiple times before. I recently went last week & got the Mango green tea. It was very enjoyable! However, not even an hour later I get hit with a stomachs ache. I didn't think anything of it. Until today, I went back & ordered the same thing. Once again got hit with a horrible stomachs ache, & this time throwing up! I'm not sure if the quality has gone down, or if they are using new equipment/liquids but I am so disappointed & sad! This place is very welcoming & the service is nothing out of the blue...unfortunately I dont think I will be returning- it seems like I will keep getting food poisoning from here...

Very friendly staff. Drinks are good. Pineapple slush was very fresh. The only issue I had is the ice is very small and choppy in the teas and it makes it hard to drink because you're sucking up ice chunks through the straw. But overall, it's a cute shop with fresh drinks.

Good boba in downtown Houston! My friend and I were craving boba and decided to try a small business, Jade's Tea. Let me start off by saying, it is so hard to find a good boba spot in downtown Houston. I'm also very picky with my boba and I don't like a lot of chains like feng cha or Kung Fu Tea, which are the closest ones to me. - Matcha Cream Tea (4/5): Both my friend and I got the matcha cream tea. My friend is vegan and was able to substitute dairy milk with oat milk. The matcha cream tea tasted just like green Thai tea and had that distinctive South Asian matcha flavor, which is more floral than Japanese matcha. Before ordering I had asked the worker what the differences between the three matcha drinks they had on the menu were, so I already knew that the matcha cream tea wasn't going to taste like traditional Japanese matcha. I enjoyed the taste and can compare it to 7 leaves' green Thai tea. This will probably be my new favorite go to spot for boba in downtown. Service/ambiance: Amazing service! The workers were really kind and patient when explaining the menu to my friend and me. Furthermore, it's a cute small business! Definitely will be coming back here for my boba fixes

This is one of those places where you just need a quick boba craving satisfied and not anything fancy. Just a lowkey place where you go to and grab a boba drink. so far I've only tried their Jasmine MT and its been good each time. They do have a point system where after 10 drinks you get one free. Its pretty small inside and they do having seating on high tables or couches.

I went to Jade's Tea House maybe about an hour or so before closing so there went many patrons inside. The one thing I liked was that the menu was diverse. There was a good variety of items to choose from. I ended up getting the banana smoothie and strawberry milk tea with boba. The strawberry Milk tea wasn't my favorite. It had a floral-esque artificial strawberry flavor that didn't compliment the tea. The banana smoothie was great! Would order again. It was smooth and not overly sweet. Would be nice if avocado was added. The restaurant isn't huge but there enough seating. There's a comic book theme which is nice. They're also in the winter holiday spirit which was a nice touch.

This is a hidden gem. Right outside the Home Depot, I passed this place many times without noticing it. Today it showed up on my Yelp search so gave it a shot and I was pleasantly surprised! The tea and sinkers tasted great. The ambiance is good and cozy. The tea shop was filled with middle schoolers and were pretty loud but that's not something I'd hold against the cafe. Boba tea worth trying!

Portions are large/filling and we felt the food was delicious and a good value for money. When we arrived the line was long and menus were not available so we had to search for the menu on the website to avoid deciding at the counter and holding up the people behind us. After ordering, tables were cleaned consistently and service was friendly. Only feedback about seating was outside parties would take chairs from other tables and leave them with no seating and not all tables we're shaded. The drinks being available at the bar when it is busy and then food being delivered to the table was a bit clunky. I picked up water and utensils for our party before sitting and would have preferred to have to pick everything up at the counter or have everything brought to the table to avoid multiple trips around when the restaurant is busy.

I tried to get the man behind the counter to understand that I wanted half a muffaletta, with no mayo. I expressed this in several different ways, because the confused expression on his face indicated that none of it was registering. In the end I gave up and accepted the whole, giant sandwich wheel. It wasn't till I got home that I realized he'd misunderstood more than just the size I was asking for. I can't tell you how much I despise mayonnaise (unless I'm having a BLT, and am thoroughly in charge of the application of the condiment). Why would it even be an option, mayo on a muffaletta? It would be just as ridiculous to have to specify "no ketchup" on one. I don't mean to come off as overly dramatic, here, but that bite was more harmful to me than anything that has ever happened to anyone in the history of humankind. You're probably thinking, "He-LLO . . . Have you seen Schindler's List?" And you may have a point. I sat through that whole film just letting valuable hours pass me right by. But this sandwich thing was even worse. So, after all that bitching, why the five stars, Mike? Because I know it would have been good without the mayonnaise. And because I remember the old Antone's. Not gonna let one assassination attempt ruin that history. I can't go back until I'm completely fluent in Spanish, though. Como se dice "mayo" in espanol?

Wine decorates the walls, and you can smell all the fresh dough and breads that's bein made. We grabbed a table and perused the menu. We went with the the Crudo (prosciutto sandwich), Nonna (mortadella sandwich), and the Pollo Milanese (chicken cutlet). They were both delicious, but I think the Nonna was my fave bc the cutlet was crispy and seaonsed well, and even when I ate my leftovers the next day, it was super good. The dough was fresh and delicious, light, and airy, and I just couldn't stop eating it. Some of our other friends ordered a pizza and the arancetti, and both of those were good as well. The pizza, whatever they're doing with their dough just works! IT was super tasty, quite big servings, and easy to share with 2-3 people.
