    Boba tea

I ordered the honeydew milk tea with boba and passion fruit bursts. It was a slightly bitter drink and the passion fruit bursts were almost melted in. Weird texture for bursts which I usually really like to have in all my boba teas.

Not a bad option when you're in TMC! Orders are done fast and it tastes comparable to Chinatown boba shops. If I have the option though, I do prefer to get ShareTea in rice village but this does the job in the area. They are also on Snackpass!

This is a wonderful boba shop conveniently located in the Texas Medical Center. It's a great stop for afternoon tea whenever you find yourself nearby. I've visited on several afternoons when I find myself with a boba craving. You can place your order online or in-store on a giant tablet. The servers are very quick and have always called out my name within a few minutes of ordering. The storefront is pretty small and has a couple seats but has more of a stop-and-go atmosphere. The best part of this tea shop is the cheese foam - a unique offering that is so tasty! I've tried milk and matcha tea with the cheese foam and it adds such a distinct flavor that offsets the sweetness of the tea. I've thoroughly enjoyed their milk tea and richness of the matcha flavor. You can order a medium or large drink, though the large is more worth it given how much you pay. The prices are on the steeper side compared to most boba places which is to be expected with the quality of the drink and location in the medical center. Anyway, definitely worth checking out when you find yourself in the area - and get the cheese foam!!

Moge Tea is absolutely the best! Beyond the standard black and green tea based drinks, they offer creative and unique combinations featuring ingredients like tofu pudding, red beans, fresh taro paste, and purple yam etc. If you're visiting, definitely give those a try, they're delicious and unlike anything you'll find elsewhere!

Moge Tea TMC is a little hard to get to cause there's no real parking!! They are located right next to the hotel so pulling over is a bit hard during check-in and check-out hours. The drinks are made to order and I like they have so many options for toppings! Taro paste, red bean, boba.. love love love! The drinks are also made with freshly brewed tea! The only downside is that the drinks are inconsistent. I've ordered the same one multiple times and the sweetness differs every time. Also, avoid the larger size cause it just tastes like straight milk - I think their measurements and ratios are off and inconsistent and there should be better quality control.

This is an order at the kiosk and then grab and go type of shop. They have a small lobby with a few chairs but it's not a place to sit down and socialize. The parking in the area is tricky. Most of the customers are employees in the Texas Medical Center or folks visiting the medical center. The drinks and boba are consistent and delicious. The brown sugar boba is especially good and would recommend reducing the sugar percentage of the drink if add brown sugar boba since it's sweetened. Some of my favorites are the honeydew slush tea with brown sugar boba and da hong pao milk tea with boba.

The staff at this location is always fast. The inside is small with just a few chairs but most people pick up and go. They always do a good job. It's clean inside. The drinks are always fresh and made correctly. They're blended well and just overall made well. No issues.

This is the spot to go for boba (bubble tea) in Houston. This place does it authentically, they are extremely efficient, and the quality of their tea and tapioca pearls (boba) are exceptional. Use the self-ordering kiosk on the right side and quickly get your drink within 5 minutes. The boba itself is so fresh and high quality. They are springy and chewy while being sweetened perfectly. The tea itself is really flavorful. I also appreciate that they let you make other customizations such as the amount of sugar or ice. I will definitely come here again if I'm in the area.

Pros: so good I've been here two days in a row. Can adjust sweetness and ice levels of drinks. Cons: long wait times. But relatively fast. Order from a kiosk.

Okay, this Moge had no seating for ME, And unlike freedom, this drink wasn't FREE, But Med Center is populated SPARSELY, When it comes to Boba, there's only, like, THREE And the best of the bunch is named MO-GEE And if you are thirsty, this is where I'll BE What to get: Creme Brulee Milk Tea, or regular Milk Tea What not to get: A ticket, parking around here can be very tricky indeed And what else not to get: A laptop, you can't plug in here and there are no tables Happy to be first to review the first true "in the Medical Center itself" Boba shop... probably the first of many, and a brilliant idea putting one here. I wonder if when that girl that works here kept showing up late, if they Doctor wages. Get it. Docked. Her. Wages. No I admit it. My jokes make nurse sense at all. So if your favourite player scored an OG And your fave cafe's out of Bulgogi I have some good news That will lessen your blues They have Creme Brulee Tea at Moge! This Moge Tee is brand new, and located in a bit of a Bobe-Mine, which is basically a Gold Mine for a Boba Shop, and that's because there's a ton of people in this area, working here, even living near here, visiting too, lots of urban professionals, the largest medical complex in North America, but hardly any Boba Shops? Really? And no national chains? Okay, there's a Teahouse (local chain), but not even right under the shadow of the medical towers like this new spot is. Amazing milk tea, wonderful Lemon Teas, everything on the menu is tasty and excellent, and they're really upping the game to a new level for this area. There are a few Kung Fu Teas not too far away and a truly amazing Purple Kow up in Rice Village, but nothing as delicious or world class as Moge within walking distance of these hospitals. Major downsides though. There is nowhere to sit in here. And there are no outlets. At all. So I can't bring my old laptop and do my Yelp reviews here, or anything else. Very disappointing, since this location is one of the closest Boba shops to my house, and one of the best. I hope they'll put a nice long power strip in here and 4-5 tables. They clearly have the space, and it's within walking distance of one of the South's best Universities (Rice) which has lots of Boba drinkers, so it needs the tables, believe me. And the outlets. The other major downside is that you can't order from a person. And that just sucks. Yes we live in a COVID world, but you can still order in person from 99% of Houston Boba shops. The other Moge locations offer the option of in person or on screen ordering. Often, there'll be weird specs and questions you don't think of until you're mid-order... forget about all that. The staff are really nice and friendly and the girl that gave me the drink was super-cute and personable, and discussed the Boba shop with me and how busy it's been, she was awesome. Five stars for the drinks and the server, 1 star for screen-only ordering and no outlets or tables... but considering the lack of options in Med Center, and that the drinks here taste as good as the excellent locations up in Cypress and out in Chinatown, then I simply have to give five stars. So... If you are Edam, I'll be BRIE If you're the princess, I'm the PEA If you want sausage, I'll bring the D If you need a medic, I'm the EMT If you're Dr. Watson, it's ELEMENTARY If you have 2 lovers, wanna make it the THREE? Not from the area but I thought it was in an odd location. It's smacked dab in the middle between the hospital/train stop, and the entrance to the university. A decent walk from the park. But the shop is cute. Only one kiosk though. Normally it wouldn't be a problem but they only accept cash at the counter and the kiosk (takes credit) was being used by a couple taking their sweet time deciding what to order. I was already well into my drink before they finished. Service was fast. I got the berry slush with cheese foam, perfect for a cloudy, muggy day. Not the most convenient spot but good for a quick visit if you are passing by.

Small establishment and very little seatings - just grab and go kind of place. There are 2 kiosks to the left of entrance where you can take your sweet time and order. They also have a website where you can order then swing by to pick up. Overall neat concept. I got the fruit tea which I adjusted to 50% sweetness but it was still a little to sweet for my liking. Tea is quite strong and the fruits were fresh. Definitely coming back to try other options.

I was hesitant about the cheese foam, but it adds a mild salty taste to complement the sweet drink.

It was easily the best boba shop in the area, so I was genuinely sad when that location closed. Teapresso Bar was founded in 2014 in Hawaii by Steve Nguyen, starting in downtown Honolulu and growing across the islands as a healthier alternative in the coffee and milk tea market. The Houston locations opened in 2018, and the brand emphasizes community, sustainability, and quality ingredients. Each drink is served in compostable cups and straws, and they're known for being gathering spots with board games and WiFi available. We were in East Downtown on a Saturday morning and were excited to see a Teapresso location at 2929 Navigation Blvd. They have a private parking lot shared with neighboring businesses, which makes it easy. The mochi is soft and warm (I wasn't a big fan of the warm contrast with the iced drink, but it's definitely made fresh). Iced supreme matcha latte: my go-to! It's the perfect amount of sweetness.
