The many times I've been to Brasica, Clean Juice always catches my eye! I've been saying in my head "imma get there, imma get there", every time! Well today was finally the day! I walked in closer to their closing time, the place was clean and I was greeted with some great customer service, to the point where I got something for free!! (White Cashew Drink which includes Cashew Milk Maple Syrup Vanilla Cinnamon Himalayan Pink Salt (It's their new drink) It's good for pre and post workout. The best way I can describe the flavor is that it tastes like liquified vanilla bean ice cream. I also patronized and got their blue cold press juice which includes: Lemon Pineapple Agave Blue Spurlina Tastes like if you would purify the ocean and add the ingredients that's already in it. Nice place to grab a Clean Juice smoothie or açaí bowl. Since it is walking distance from my newish office, sometimes I will walk there on a sunny day. Love their rewards program. Grabbed a free berry açaí which was available as a nice pick me up after work. Filled with açaí, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, honey and almond milk and topped with bananas, more berries and almond butter, it was such a clean, fresh and healthy treat. I havent been here in a while but i was in the area so i stopped in. Nothing like a healthy cold drink on a warm summer day. I I went for one of their limited-edition Relaxation smoothies with lavender and super fresh ingredients. It was delicious, light, and calming. The store itself was very clean and welcoming, and Edi provided genuinely kind and helpful service, which made the visit even better. Fresh ingredients, a sleek interior, and more expensive than your usual smoothie spot. What makes all the difference to me are the menu offerings: some places appeal to me more than others. I went for a wheatgrass shot and the attendant acted like she didn't know what I was talking about and went in the back and another attendant came out and asked me what I wanted. I told her and she said the wheatgrass shots are made the day before and put into the refrigerated case. Wheatgrass shots are supposed to be made fresh at the moment and drank right away. I explained that and the attendant kept saying just get the ones that were already made. She said they can make them fresh but she didn't want to do it for me. I normally go to the one on Memorial Drive, but since I was near this location with my boyfriend and my mom (who is visiting from Seattle) we decided to stop by for a little treat. I came in for the first time today. I was disappointed that the juicer was not working and I could not order a fresh smoothie. I had a very hard time understanding the clerk (very heavy accent), which made everything more difficult with questions. ultimately, they made an iced version of the bottled juice I had to buy (if I wanted a smoothie). The drink was absolutely horrible and tasted awful. I spent good money for these nutritional drinks so I will force myself to drink them (in small amounts). Lots of opportunities to drop a lot of cash on juice shots and not terribly overpriced bottled water. You can see the fresh fruits and ingredients on display. I ordered a tropical smoothie and the associate who took my order recommended I use the app. You can get $5 off if you pay with the app on your first visit, which was a great deal. Drinks on the menu aren't cheap -- but, neither is getting a Vitamix and trying to extract your own juices. No one has time for that, so it's worth the price for high quality. I ordered online for curbside pickup and got there in the exact time it said it would be ready (15 minutes). Wanted to love this place as I love fresh juice and my husband loves açaí bowls. We've tried our fair share of places and this one is below average. The juice tastes old, like something you'd buy pre bottled at Trader Joe's. The açaí bowl also tastes not fresh, like something you'd buy in the frozen section at a grocery store.
