I was just passing through the area when I spotted this adorable little tea shop and knew I had to stop in. It's a small space with only two tables, but it's very clean and thoughtfully decorated, which makes it feel cozy rather than cramped. I ordered the strawberry matcha with brown sugar boba. The matcha had a smooth, earthy flavor that paired really well with the sweetness of the strawberry, and the brown sugar boba added the perfect chewy texture at the bottom. Kung Fu Tea is the only tapioca chain that has consistency in their drinks/tapioca. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. This was our first time visiting this location and I had asked for a hot milk tea (50% sweet with tapioca). As we were about to pay, the cashier said she didn't know how to make hot drinks and said she had to call and ask another worker how to make it. I'm not sure why she didn't mention this as soon as I gave her my order. Also, there were no other workers working in the back either. I decided to just change my order to make it less complicated for her and asked for an "iced" milk tea with no ice instead. Thankfully it tasted fine! read more

Our new favorite KFT location! Drinks are simply better than most other KFTs - there's a better balance of tea and milk. KFT drinks usually have too much milk and are too creamy, but here the tea is more pronounced and complements the milk better. Tapioca boba is also solid. Not sure why other customers have had issues with service, we visit nearly every week and find the service reliable, respectful, and fast. Spot is small so best for takeout here. read more

This past summer, Kung Fu Tea became my go-to spot for a refreshing, cool drink. I probably spent over $200 at this location alone, so it's safe to say I'm a regular. But after countless visits, I've started to notice some recurring issues that make me question if it's worth the splurge every time. First, let me say that when they get it right, the drinks are fantastic. There's something so satisfying about a perfectly balanced boba tea--just the right amount of milk, sweetness, and chewiness from the boba pearls. It's a treat, and on a hot day, it hits the spot like nothing else. However, consistency is a real problem here. Some days, my drink is overly milky. Other days, it's drowning in ice. And despite asking for 50% sugar or less ice, there have been more than a few times when it felt like my request was ignored entirely. It's frustrating because those small adjustments are part of what makes the drink perfect--and at $9 a drink, it feels fair to expect consistency. Another issue is the changing hours. I've stopped by only to find the doors closed when they were supposed to be open, which is disappointing when you're looking forward to your favorite drink. I want to be fair--the staff is generally friendly and polite, and the drinks, when made correctly, are genuinely good. But when every visit feels like rolling the dice on whether you'll get the drink you actually ordered, it starts to feel less like a treat and more like a gamble. At the end of the day, $9 per drink isn't pocket change, and it's made me pause before pulling out my wallet. I'd love to see more consistency in drink preparation and better communication about store hours. I haven't written Kung Fu Tea off entirely, but I've started considering other options nearby. Walked in and the associate working was not welcoming or friendly - didn't even greet me when I walked in . The floor was extremely sticky with sugar , when I got home my shoes were sticking to the floor . Also the "now open " sign out front has been half way falling off for 2 weeks now - looks horrible. Finally, I got a 16oz tea with bubbles and it was $7...insane . All in all they need to figure it out asap or they'll be out of business very soon read more
