had such a wonderful experience at Tea Villa in Houston! First off, the location is fantastic -- easy to find and with great parking, which made the visit super convenient. The area itself is really charming and quiet, a perfect little oasis away from the usual hustle and bustle of the city. It felt cozy and peaceful, just the kind of vibe you want when you're looking to unwind. The staff at Tea Villa were incredibly sweet and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I was especially impressed that they made me a custom coffee exactly how I like it -- such a thoughtful and personal touch that really made me feel special. And the tea? Absolutely delicious. They have such a great variety, and everything was brewed perfectly. You can tell they really care about quality. The atmosphere is cute and inviting, with cozy seating and tasteful decor that makes you want to stay and soak it all in. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to read, chat with friends, or just enjoy a moment of calm, Tea Villa is definitely the place to go. I'm already looking forward to my next visit -- it's definitely going to be a regular spot for me. Personable and friendly staff. The atmosphere is cozy and calm. Cute as the tic and good music. We got the chicken sandwich combo, chicken popcorn, and cheese sticks. Everything was well seasoned, crispy, and juicy. We got a smoothie and sparkling series, which refreshing, so there are no complaints from me. Stop by if you're in the area and need a pick-me-up

Area clean and customer service are super nice!! food 10/10! Drink is very very very fresh!!

Fun unique, delicious drinks!…read more Cocha is talked about a lot and is one of the more well known matcha popups in Houston. I finally got around to trying it and I really enjoyed it. They were operating out of a little ordering window. There are a couple outdoor tables if you want to hang around and chat with friends. The lychee bloom matcha was light, refreshing, and yummy. It has a really nice floral jasmine tea base with lychee syrup so you get the sweetness of a lychee and a refreshing light floral jasmine note from the actual tea. On top is the matcha cream top which is heavy enough to add a creamy matcha feel to the drink. Overall, this was the perfect sweetness and the flavors worked well together while letting each individual note shine.

IMPRESSED! Matcha…read moredrinks here are so good! My children love them and want to come back for more. For me, personally, this is a quite long time since I could drink all of a matcha drink. They all taste very good. The service is friendly and professional. You can see the baristas are making drinks through the window and they smile back to you even though Cocha is busy there. Ambiance: Sharing space with other stores, this look like a small food hall. So the parking is a little bit challenging. - If you just order drink, you might need to park on the street ( follow the instruction sign/photo I attach below) - If you also order food, you might park in the parking lot. Anyway, We also have an order of waffle in the hall. Waffle + matcha can get along pretty fine. So, even though there is quite a bit inconvenience with parking, the drinks are so good beyond expectations that I can happily rate oir experience 5. COCHA is definitely a gem! Best, Chloe

It was a good bar, with plenty of pistachio cream and crushed kataifi on the inside. Dubai chocolate ($6) - This consisted of a large milk chocolate bar filled with rich pistachio cream and kataifi (crispy shredded phyllo dough). It tasted amazing and much better than most places selling these. Pricing was reasonable. Overall I enjoyed my latte and dessert. The interior has some Yemeni decor and there is quite a bit of seating. The only negative is that I wish they had more sweet and snack offerings.

If you read online or ask those in the establishment, they'll tell you the coffee is Bangladeshi-inspired. I'm not going to pretend I know anything about Bangladeshi-inspired coffee, but (at least in my opinion) I do know about good taste. This place has it. When I first came to Moharani about a month ago, I tried the Mango Raja - Moharani's version of the mango matcha latte. This honestly may be one of the best drinks I've ever had anywhere. And it's made with great care. I was at Moharani with a host of friends and I noticed the Mango Raja took the longest to make. When they serve it, the presentation is also top notch with the mango puree on the bottom - I like the puree version because the chunks are tiny and goes well with the drink as opposed to large mango chunks. You'll see it in my picture. The super kind workers there recommended I give the drink a good stir before I drink it. So I did, and oh my goodness. Yes I'll be back for this. But also when I was there, one of my friends ordered the Dhakamisu, which is a tiramisu latte, complete with a ladyfinger with the drink. If you enjoy tiramisu, which I do, this drink can be addicting, and my friend who ordered it, along with several others who messaged me upon seeing I visited Moharani, have similar very complimentary sentiments. So I knew that, before I wrote a review on Moharani, I needed to try the Dhakamisu myself. Today, I did. And yes, it lived up to the hype. That said, because I am very much a mango person, as evidenced by some of my previous reviews, the Mango Raja will likely be my top drink of choice at Moharani. Parking hasn't been problem whenever I've gone - Moharani is part of a plaza. The vibes are also super laid-back and chill with plenty of seating tables and also a few tables outside. Service is super friendly. And if you have any questions, they are more than willing to answer. I'm a big fan! This place is top notch in my book and well worth the trip. I'm actually still thinking of that Mango Raja right now as I type all this out.

I actually loved my first visit, I came back with my husband the next day. I first ordered the pistachio latte hot. I asked for light syrup and low fat milk which was perfect for me. It had chunks of pistachio in it which was cool. The second day I came back with my husband and he ordered the same pistachio latte but full sweet and I got the pandan latte with light ice, light foam, and low fat milk. They incorporate the low fat milk well as some places tend to burn it. The pandan was great and I'm not even a ice coffee lover. Smooth, creamy. I could not really taste the pandan but the matcha came across. I asked the barista about their syrups and beans. I learned that most of their syrups are made in house and they get their beans from a family friend. They used to make their own and are thinking about doing it again which is a great sign of a quality shop. For sure a great little place.

For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
