It was very creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. In the classic black milk tea, the robust black tea flavor is the predominant flavor and its supported nicely by the creamy milk. For those who prefer milk tea that focuses on the tea rather than the milk, this is a great option! They had issues with one of the machines for a few weeks, and more recently they've been so understaffed that there was nowhere to sit. I had the strawberry overload tea with less ice and 25% sugar and was very happy with the taste - very pleasantly fruity with lots of strawberry chunks. It was only slightly sweet, just the way I like it - I feel like lots of boba places offer 25% sugar but then just dump what seems like the regular amount of sugar anyways so I was very happy. At $5, it felt very reasonable compared to some other places. My friend and I also shared the taro chocolate cake, which was actually very good. The cake was so light and fluffy with such a pleasant taro sauce. I feel like taro often tastes too artificial but this was just right. It's the perfect size for sharing, and wasn't too sweet.
