My wife & I have been back many times since my last review. Our experiences have gotten better and better. A popular neighborhood bar with way too many kids for my liking. My wife loves their burgers because she likes hers rare and they do a great job cooking your burger the way you want it. I love the grilled chicken sandwich, always cooked to perfection and never dried out. Their french fries, while plentiful, are frozen and, thus, lacking in flavor, COLD beer and a large selection of both draft and bottles. Prices are reasonable and fair. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient. We usually sit at the bar (less kids up there) and the bartender knows our favorites without asking. I have eaten at the location downtown and enjoyed it many times but this location is our neighborhood bar. Try it, you'll like it! Just don't bring your kids. read more

Huey's Collierville - Chicken Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. - Burgers Near Me - Collierville, Tennessee

Huey's has great bar food along with drinks. I've never seen onion rings so large in my life. They are so big and juicy, I could eat them all day. I had a sandwich there, as that is the majority of their menu, and it tasted great. The waitress was really friendly and provided great service. I highly suggest it! read more

Fun pub/burger joint....with sandwiches and the other typical misc. pub type offerings. Good service, good food. The Burgers were great. they have several burgers with neat toppings. Giant onion rings. Fries...not so good. There is a laid back friendly welcoming atmosphere here. toothpick stick in the ceiling is their gimmick...but it works. While I ate dinner, Zach Randolph "Z Bo" from the Grizzlies came in to eat....he grabbed a few pics with some kids..and then got a table like everyone else. while the Bulls and Heat were playing a game in TV. read more

I've been here multiple times and every time I come is a great experience, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The hospitals, food and cleanliness is outstanding. The staff has such an amazing attitude and personality!!! Whether you are at the bar, inside or the patio the outcome is consistent! Great place to seat down and enjoy a few drinks while eating lunch! Highly recommend!!! read more

Consistently good burgers and sides. Good service. They have an excellent reputation and they deserve it. Try the lemon icebox pie! read more

Huey's Collierville - Memphis Memorabilia - Burgers Near Me - Collierville, Tennessee

Amazing french onion soup! Delicious! Service was wonderful, Madison was prompt and attentive!

First time at this location. Came to hear the band (5 O'clock Shadow Memphis), and was VERY happy with the catfish basket. It was GREAT. I expected decent, but it is above average. read more

The A1 burger was just sumptuous. With the onion straws just perfect. The staff is super friendly. Draft beer is limited but the beer was cold. Friendly atmosphere for both family and singles . Not to be confused with regular beer dives. Family friendly . Lunch a month later with my wife was great as usual. Still the best burger joint in Collierville read more

The food, the atmosphere and the staff are so great. I would highly recommend anyone that wants a good burger and a laid back and fun environment to go check them out! read more

I would rather starve then to eat here I wish I could give 0 stars. They better be lucky tomorrow is thanksgiving so the corporate office is closed but I will be calling up there first thing Friday morning. The customer service is terrible, I waited 30 min for my to go order everything came out cold. Then both of the managers which names are Landon and Jana are very rude. I couldn't even eat my food when they brought it back out because I truly believe they spit in it they were so rude. "Landon even said to me it's the holidays have some fucking cheer". Never again will they get my money. read more

My server barely talked to us the whole time. The only time she said a full sentence was when she handed us our check of course because she wanted a tip. I am giving it two stars just because I have had a good experience here before but this time was truly unpleasant I didn't even touch my food the whole time and the waiter didn't seemed concerned if I liked it or not just asked me if I wanted a to go box. read more

Huey's Collierville - Burgers Near Me - Collierville, Tennessee

I have been coming here for 15+ years and this place is the most consistent restaurant in Collierville. I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is always really quick to greet you and seat or tell you to seat yourself. Even on the busiest days they are there grabbing drink orders. The food quality is consistently amazing. The burgers are great. We've never had a bad burger there. Their shrimp is really good too. We love the big steak fries. I also suggest trying their cherry coke if you love cherry coke. The atmosphere is fun. You can write on the walls or shoot toothpicks on the ceiling. Some days they have bands in there playing. Their patio is also pleasant to eat on on pretty days. What's also great is that the consistency of Huey's food carries over to all the restaurants through the area. The burgers will always be good. read more

I've been coming to Hueys in Collierville for a long time. I've generally found it to be great pub food, with a lot of options for the whole family. Also, service tends to be on point most of the time (the staff does magical things when it gets busy). But as a bartender/server that works in town, I was pissed off about my experience at the restaurant today. After placing a to-go order over the phone I walked up to the bar and sat for a long time before I was even given a glance by several staff walking in and out of the bar area. I was literally 1 of three people sitting at the bar. A "hey I see you, I will be with you shortly" smile is all I wanted. Fine, maybe you were busy. When I pulled out my cash, I was finally seen by the bartender in a low cut top with long hair extensions, fairly young. So at least she greeted me. She was fast and prompt. When I waited on my change she ignored my held out hand and smacked it down on the bar top and walked off without a goodbye or thanks or anything. I stared after her wondering if I'd done something wrong. It seriously pained me to not leave a tip on a to-go. But I refuse to reward shitty service. Can you maybe just look me in the eye and say thanks, or come back, or can I be of anymore service? Big breasts and fake hair are kind of not going to replace good hospitality. Management, please take inventory. read more

Without doubt the best burgers around. Never had a bad experience at Huey's because you can't have a bad one. Never an issue with parking as have been mentioned in other reviews. Chicken philly = awesome. Senior Huey = awesome. Chicken pita = awesome. Sausage and cheese plate = delish. Black bean burger = can't find a better one! Eat a salad if you're trying to be good! Can't go wrong with those either!!! Don't try the little miners trio because there won't be enough for the rest of us. Love u guys! Keep doing what u do! read more

Another bad experience at this particular Huey's. Monday 9-11-17 I came in at 12:15 to have lunch. Sat at the bar like I usually do when dining alone. Today's bartender was at one end of the bar engrossed in conversation with I'm assuming a friend. So engrossed she never noticed me sitting there for almost 5 minutes. When the phone rang and she had to come my way is when she finally spoke to me. Asked me what I'm drinking, I asked for just water. She said are you having anything to eat? Really ? Lol no I just came in to sit at the bar , drink a glass of water and work on my iPad ! I ordered a grilled chicken salad and off she went back to talking to her friend at the end of the bar. Shortly my salad arrived, delivered by a kitchen worker. As I began to eat my salad I noticed a strange texture to what I was trying to eat. I removed a 3 inch by 3 inch piece of plastic from my mouth. It was in my salad! Yuk So the bartender was still down at the end of the bar, still talking to her friend. I just sat there holding up the piece of plastic in my hand. Another phone call and she now back towards me, she sees me holding up the plastic and asks me if this was in my salad. I assured her it was. She took it from me not saying another word. The manager then stepped forward explaining to me that the plastic wrap was what they used to wrap and cook the chicken that was in my salad. This particular manager, ( she described herself as a floating manager) was very nice. Asked me if I wanted another salad, another food item. I declined. I did proceed to talk with her about how this particular store, in my opinion, seemed to be the worst one in the Huey's chain. I know something about Huey's since my work has me all over the greater Mid-South, I eat in one Huey's or another at least every week. And since I've moved and now live close to the Collierville location, I've eaten here quite a bit in the last year. I'm sorta in the restaurant business myself, my work brings me in different restaurants daily. It easy to spot a good one and even easier to spot a bad one. This store needs help. As the floating manage and I were discussing all of this the bartender was back leaning over the bar still talking with her friend. I pointed this out to the manager. This bartender has nothing to do but talk to someone? Really? Manager did not appear to notice this has been going on for the last half hour. Again this is not indicative of the Huey's chain. All in all after eating and drinking at one Huey's or another for the last 30 + years, it's one of the better establishment of its kind. I'd just like to see the Collierville location be on par with the rest of their chain. read more

If you're questioning whether you should visit this establishment or not, the answer is yes. Cold beer, an inviting atmosphere, where the bar tenders are attentive but not pushy. Grab an ice cold IPA while waiting for the perfect juicy burger and sweet potato fries and homemade ranch! Order the wings. Trust me order the wings. The best in Memphis. Great job!! read more

Don't call it a "World Famous Burger" if it's a subpar burger. Call it the "World's Ok-est Burger" and be more accurate. Not terrible just not great. read more

Another famous Memphis staple that I find to be too pricey for the quality of their offerings and surroundings. The Collierville location is especially dingy and malodorous. Even the vinyl tablecloths and laminated menus (simple to wipe down after each party) are sticky and covered in drips and smears. The food is usually something I could do equally well or better at home for a lot less $. The drinks are watered down or taste vile because the pipes aren't clean or something about the water is off. The steak on a stick is extremely salty, though tender. There are better places to eat for a better value. read more

Huey's is a great spot top grab a quick lunch usually a blackened chicken sandwich and oh those steak fries!! This place really has a lot to offer on the menu but don't have to really explain that; everyone in Memphis has probably tried a Huey's at some point. I am mainly writing this review because the staff here is always great. This location beats all the others the waitress will check on you the whole time and you will never have to ask for a refill and it they forget something they are on it. The service here and the fries keeps me coming back! read more

I love Hueys! let me recommend the Hot Wings for and appetizer! the chicken Philly sandwich is also a great choice! The cheesburgers and fries are good here as well. Fun/laid back atmosphere. I like to eat here atleast every couple of weeks! read more

I've tried this place twice, now. The first time i ordered the French dip, which was dry and tasteless. The second time I tried the nachos, which were good, but I barely got a quarter of the way through it before my stomach turned, and I felt sick the rest of the night. If all you want is a cold beer and outdoor seating, then it's fine, Otherwise, buyer beware with the food. read more

Visiting Huey's is routine for me. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. There's live music on Sunday's and the workers are always very friendly. The food service is fast and the food itself is always delicious. I love the hot wings, chicken philly, and you can never go wrong with a burger here. I also love how they have healthy alternatives. And this place has some of the best ranch in Memphis. Huey's is a great place to eat at with your family. read more

A decent burger place and a local chain. This is not the original location but is certainly easier to get to if you are east of midtown off of Poplar. Right over the Germantown/Collierville line on the left if you are heading east to Collierville, right at intersection of Houston Levee. Food and Service- Ok overall. Service is consistent- not great/not bad either. It is usually seat yourself and whne this place gets busy, it is crazy busy. Burgers are good and I can get mine done medium rare and it comes out that way. Onion rings are big. Grilled chicken sandwich is pretty good. DO NOT GET the fried shrimp. I admit I am a seafood snob since I grew up in Massachusetts and have eaten seafood since I was about 3. However, they were over fried and the shrimp were small. More fry than shrimp. Not worth it. I give this one a three because the food is good and consistent but not outstanding. read more

I must be missing something after reading the other reviews because I made the mistake of convincing the wife to there for dinner. The good news is the Onion Rings are awesome! That is all! The place is ridiculously loud! I was waiting for 'The What Would You Do ?' Host to come out. Who plays acid rock in a restaurant?!? Wl Huey's does. And they also leave the windows uncovered so you have a constant glare in your face even though your sitting at the back of the place. The grunge look is definitely the look of the day for the wait staff as well. read more

This restaurant is one of the few places my husband will go to over and over. The food is always cooked well, the service is always spectacular and it ambiance is quite fun. The only quibble I have about Huey's is that I've been there too much and there isn't a whole lot of variety on the menu. read more

This is one of my favorite Huey's to eat at. The hamburgers are always do good at this location. The service is always friendly at the location. read more

I really hate that I'm just not a huge fan of Huey's. I like the atmosphere, but the food is lacking, to me. It's always hot, but something about it never agrees with me. read more

When a juicy burger is a must, you must go to Huey's! The Bluez 57 is outta this world. Couple that with a quaint interior and good service, visited by the manager twice, and you have a great place to eat. read more

Huey's Collierville use to have one of the best cheeseburgers but the last two I ordered were very disappointing. Bun is bigger than the burger not toasted and/or steamed like before skimping on the mayo/mustard and minimal toppings, even the cheese didn't cover the meat!!! I'll try Cordova and see if this is a trend or just mismanagement at Collierville location. :-( read more

When you first walk in it has an underground pub feel. I came in on a Sunday when the live band was present and it was very enjoyable. The food was very good as well. I got the famous Huey burger and fries. It was a juicy thick burger with delicious steak fries. Overall, great atmosphere as well as food. I had loads of fun here! read more

Decent place. They could use a good remodel and cleaning, but overall the staff was friendly and service was good. Fried pickles were some of the better I've ever had. Sunrise burger was very good. Plus you get to shoot toothpicks into the ceiling with straws, so that's a plus. read more

I absolutely love this place! The food is always exceptional! The staff is always polite and welcoming. I have not had a bad experience at any of the Huey's locations. If you are looking for a great meal at a reasonable price... look no further! read more

This location is pretty laid back and the crowd isn't half bad. The service is pretty good and so are their buffalo wings and fries.

Great place to eat. You can't go wrong when your kid can shot toothpicks in the ceiling and the good is great.

Typical bar food. Hamburger was ok. I would go if others were already going there but I wouldn't recommend going there to others.

I love Huey's, I really do. I've been to the original, but I like this one just as much, and it's much closer to me. I've never had a bad meal here. The burgers and the club are usually what I get. The place is laid-back, consistent, and decently priced-everything I want. It can get pretty crowded here on weekend nights-so be warned! read more

We popped in here after the zoo for a quick lunch. We didn't realize it was a bar but the service was good and our kids didn't seem to be an issue. I ordered a drink and the bartender who was serving us didn't seem entirely knowledgable of the vodkas he had. He also brought me lemons vs limes. The waitress that took over was much better and great with our kids. We had chips and queso which were great. My husband and I shared the chicken and pineapple kabobs which were delicious and my kids had chicken and fries. Food was good all around, surprising for what I expected when we walked in. read more

Awesome place to eat. I think my family eats there once a week. They offer a lot of variety to please any diet. They are famous for their excellent burger. Fries are the best as well. My current favorite is the pineapple chicken skewers with fries. They also have live music most Sunday nights. read more

I ordered a custom hamburger, I asked them to repeat the order and they repeated everything I asked for. When I got my food, it was completely cold and my order was completely wrong. The guy who I talked to was unfriendly and rude. read more

Burgers at Huey's are awesome and at least 1/2 an inch thick. If you're looking for something other than a burger, there are better places. Toothpicks in the ceiling, atmosphere and other aspects make this place feel a little "divey" but was well worth stopping in for a cheap burger. read more
