The food was so delicious! We called in our order because it was my bf's birthday and I wanted to treat him to a really good birthday breakfast. He got the chicken fried steak which came with two pieces of meat, a big side of gravy, three eggs, potatoes, and toast. I got the French toast sandwich which is no longer on the menu, to which I am surprised because it is amazing! It had ham, egg & cheese in between two thick slices of French toast with a side of potatoes. It was so filling I had to eat the other half for lunch. Their prices are super reasonable for a good quality breakfast and I was thankful for that because we usually get from Denny's which isn't the best but it's about the same price. This was my first time trying Huckleberry's and I will definitely be having it again as well as recommending it to others. read more

I loved the Food and loved how friendly the staff is, it did take longer than expected however the staff and food made up for it.

We have been wanting to give the new location a try because we love the original Huckleberry and this one is so much closer to our home. The wait was not to bad, we only waited for about 15 minutes, once our server came to the table she seemed to be very rushed which is fine because they do tend to get busy Saturday mornings. The food came out about 20 minutes later, I ordered the ham plate, but this is the most disappointing plate I have ever gotten from Huckleberry. The ham was so Uncooked and chewy, I was waiting for the server to come check on us so I can let her know but not once did she come and make sure everything was okay at our table. Since that meal I have been throwing up and needing to use the restroom constantly. Next time we will just drive the extra miles and go to the original huckleberry and wait for a table there. read more

So we were visiting from out of town and I saw that they had beignets. So we went there this morning and I ordered them. They came out looking delicious... bit into my beignet to find the center was cold which means they served me a frozen beignet. They made the dough the night before, froze it and it obviously wasn't done thawing out. I immediately sent it back and was insulted that they just served me a frozen beignet. The waitress brought me another set that was "fresher" and when I opened it... it was all crust and completely hallow. I said I'm sorry but I don't want this. I was CRUSHED. We literally went there bc I wanted beignets and the reviews on them were good, but I am still angry and angry enough to write this review. My husband and father-in-law said their breakfast wasn't that good either. So I don't know about their lunch or dinner, but I definitely would NEVER recommend somebody coming here for breakfast. Excited to try the Eggs Benedict and ordered two orders with bayou reds for my husband and I to go. They told me they don't have traditional Canadian bacon when I called to place the order and I asked if they were able to do a thinly sliced ham and the girl I spoke with said they could. I asked for extra hollandaise on the side and a side of ranch for potatoes. I also asked if I could order just one pancake and was told yes. So my ham was so thick I had to take it off, the hollandaise looked like a thick cheese sauce and smelled like it to. When I tasted it, it tasted bad like sour and neither of us could eat it. The potatoes didn't have onions and peppers, no extra hollandaise or ranch on the side and ended up with two pancakes instead of one. Total waste of $. My husband couldn't go back because he had work to do, so I called to let the girl know the sauce was bad and should let the cook know and figured she would offer to cancel the charge on our bill and she didn't. TERRIBLE service. Do NOT go to this Huckleberry's. Our family waited for 45 minutes just to be seated even after making a reservation 2 hours earlier. Half of our party got their food and FINISHED their food before the other half even got their's and to top it off the second round of food was cold. Literally COLD. The Huckleberry's in Fresno needs to bring their team over to train the team in Clovis because the service here was TERRIBLE. We always go to the location in Fresno and even when they are SWAMPED the service is always great and the food arrives in a reasonable amount of time and NEVER cold. read more

I absolutely love Huckleberry's but the new location in Clovis Ca, was very disappointing. We went there for my family birthday breakfast and we made sure we put the kids order in first at least 15-20 minutes before we put in the adults breakfast order. 45 minutes later 3 of the 5 kids got their orders. We waited about 10 minutes longer before we asked about the other kids orders, giving them time to bring them out. Once we asked them about it it still took another 10-15 minutes plus they started to bring out the adults food. Finally after everyone else was served and almost done eating then they brought out the last of the kids food. When we asked to speak to the manger all he said was he was sorry and gave us a coupon for free dessert for the next time we came in. When we went to pay and they asked us how our dinning experience was we told them and asked them to remove the price of one of the kids meals, which they did and we did appreciate that. I will give them another try but I really think the new location is just to small of an area for them and they need to get their kitchen act together. read more

Was visiting from out of town and my family brought me here for a good old fashioned brunch. I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, including the women's restroom, very true to the theme. The menu had a wide variety and the prices were very reasonable. The food was really good and the service was awesome! I've been a few times right after they opened after taking over the old Carrows. The owner hired inexperienced very young servers who had no idea how to wait on tables. The service sucks. He should had kept most of the Carrows old staff. Anyway we waited awhile and tried going back a few more times in hopes that the servers were better trained but that wasn't the case. There are other great breakfast places near by that gave great food as well as service. Sandys Kountry Juction now has our business. read more

When they first opened things were great. I was so happy that we finally had one nearby. But the next few visits weren't great. Our food were always cold and it usually take them 20-30 minutes to bring food out when they are not busy (around 7-8am). We always had good customer service but there is one waitress who always takes her time to serve us. Not going to include a name, but I'll start with her first initial "D". Apparently taking orders for customers is a hassle because she'd always get our orders wrong. And when she brings the bill, she doesn't pick it up for the next 15-20 minutes. At first I thought she was busy so I'd go to the restroom, but I'd see her just standing and talking with her coworkers. I'm not impressed with the customer service that they provide us with so far, especially having experience in this field previously. Not sure if I'll go back to that location, but it's not like it matters to them anyway because there is no progress or effort in they way they operate things. read more

I am a frequent patron of this location, never having any problems, but today I am extremely disappointed. To start off the wait time for our order to be taken took more than it should have. Secondly, to get our food took way too long and multiple people that ordered after us got their order before us (our orders consisted of plain breakfast food such as eggs, bacon and hash browns). When our food arrived it was at a luke warm temperature. Every other time I have been here they have been much busier but we've also received faster service and better food. This was my first time coming here and will never be back. Waited 10 minutes for a table which is no big deal. The issue is that the customer service is horrible. My wife and I were waiting at our table for 10-15 just looking at our menus and we never had one waitress ask us if we would like something to drink bring us silverware or anything. You would think that a couple with a two month infant that they would want to get us in an out. I have eaten at Huckleberry's before, and have been very satisfied. But today, if I could rate them zero stars, I would. Today I am disgusted. During Covid-19 times, any business with common sense would implement social distancing and curbside pickup. My son ordered Mother's Day brunch for pickup for me for Mother's Day. When my daughter went to pick up our order (which was placed the day before!), it was a mob scene. Nobody in line was wearing masks. The line was a mile long to get in to ask for your order. People were crammed together in line. There were no signs indicating 6 feet apart, and Huckleberry's made no attempt to enforce it. Signs indicated you could call in and Huckleberry's would bring your pre-paid order out to you. Nobody answered the phone. Then when she finally got to the counter, 10 minutes after her pick-up time, she was told it would be at least a 30 minute wait. It was 45 minutes! Huckleberry's exhibited no responsibility to the community, and put everyone there at risk. There was absolutely no planning ahead for any type of crowd. I will never visit Huckleberry's again, and would recommend anyone with any kind of decency not to support this restaurant. With no plan in place for re-opening during Covid-19, it is very apparent all they care about is money. read more
