Strawberry Matcha

They actually have such good food here and they have a good selection of drinks. I loved my strawberry matcha. Service was good and this place is very cute with a lot of seating.

I have actually been here twice now, last week and today. I have been seeing this place online and on Yelp for a while, and finally had the chance to stop in. By the time I was able to try this place, the menu had changed from the first rendition of their food offerings. The place is absolutely adorable! I love the décor, they have tables and fun couches and chairs with oversized cushions, and a shabby chic tea house aesthetic, which is what I think they are going for since they have the Shabby Chic book you can flip through. They also have tons of games you can play while you relax. They have reproductions of oil paintings and have themed the place with a black and white toile like pattern that is featured on their bowls, cups, and napkins. It is very cute. Both times I have been had been the middle of the weekday, but there are other customers around, which is good. The first time there was a man vlogging for his Insta Tiktok channel as well. The people working here both times were very nice and helpful. Both times they went out of their way to be accommodating. The first time there we ordered a couple drinks, a milk tea and pineapple tea. My drink was delicious. We also got food, we got the peanut noodles, beef udon soup with bok choy, and crispy fried chicken. All of the food was excellent. The chicken was crispy, the beef was very tender, and the peanut noodles were amazing. The first time they did seem a bit overwhelmed. Each time it seems like there are only two people working the shop and it took a very long time to get our food and drinks, but the flavors more than made up for it. We also got dessert which we were told the cakes are made fresh inhouse. We got ube tiramisu and original tiramisu. Both were excellent and very flavorful. I liked the portions but it is a bit pricy here. The second time I got a purple cloud drink with crystal jellies for my child, it was also excellent and tasted very good. The person working here the second time explained that they have a different menu because they got rid of the pizza oven and wanted a more uniform menu. I wonder if there were trying out what works since it seems to be a family business. So far, all of the people working here and 2D DYI have been very friendly and welcoming. We will be back.

Really cute interior! Came on a Saturday for lunch and there weren't many people. Service was friendly and fast. We tried the taiwanese beef noodle soup which was tasty and a pretty generous portion for the price. I really liked the passionfruit tea with half sugar. The Jasmine green tea latte we got with less sugar, but would have been better with half sugar. Their drinks are not that sweet to begin with and emphasize the tea which I like. The mango sunrise was our least favorite drink. Not bad but it tasted like orange instead of mango.

Overpriced & lacking flavor. This place is all style no substance. The decor was absolutely beautiful and everything on their menu and dessert case was stunning. I wish that the beauty matched the taste. We did not order any drinks, but we did order 2 desserts. We tried the pistachio raspberry cheesecake and the chocolate tiramisu. On both the desserts the tastiest thing was the Ferraro rocher that was decoration on top. Neither of the desserts had much flavor at all and lacked any complexity. Just tasted mildly sweet. For two desserts totaling me $21, they better at least taste good. Service was fine, nothing to complain about at all and like I said the restaurant itself is beautiful. Overall this place was crazy disappointing and I do not recommend.

Hot chai milk tea - delicious!

Super cute, decent sized tea shop that also offers sweet treats. I tried the chai milk tea - regular sugar and hot. It was so good, I will be back just for the drink and will stay for the treats. Looks like you can use the kiosk but I ordered at the counter and I had my drink in a few minutes.

An aesthetic place to hang out with good dessert & Boba. There's also an option for food, so you can really stay to study or work or just hang out. The place is small & it seems to fill up every time I've been. I really like the different milk teas they offer, it's different from everyone else since there's different teas to choose from. All have a good strong flavor of tea, which I like. Their fruit teas is also really good, the right amount of sweetness or get 50% if you don't like it too sweet. The Boba is a little on the soft side for my liking. They also have other sides, my favorite being the osmanthyst jelly to go with the fruit tea. Which I don't see often. As for their dessert. It's pretty solid. Don't expect super sweet since this is an Asian place. Perfect amount of sweetness, which is not too sweet. The tiramisu is probably my favorite & then the crepes cake.

First and foremost, one of the best boba shops in the Detroit and metro area. From the authentic boba options, to the tasty but not overwhelming priced food options served as a perfect place to study, play cards, or just chat with a friend in a nice inviting ambiance. I went with the Taro tea option (delicious) , but fell in love with the Strawberry matcha milk tea. 10/10 They even brought it to our table, great service.

This cafe has such a cute aesthetic. They serve variety of coffee drinks, boba, savory items and sweet items. The tiramisu latte here is so delicious and creamy. It is sweet without being overwhelmingly sweet. I'm come back to try the food amd desserts.

Truly the best milk tea and dessert place in town. Been there twice already since they opened. Tried both the jasmine milk tea and peach milk tea. Both tasted super authentic and just amazing. Not too sweet. Dessert is on the pricier side but totally worth it. A must try place! Store interior is also super cute! Well designed. Lots of instagram-able areas. Cute place to hang with friends. Friendly staff as well!

Adorably decorated cafe that gives off Bridgerton x Parisan cafe vibes. Every corner is photographable. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I tried the peach milk tea and I wasn't a huge fan. The peach flavor is very subtle, and the milk isn't particularly strong either (almost like watered down milk tea). The staff was kind enough to replace my drink for me, and I got the tiramisu iced latte with cheese foam instead. I did like this slightly more, although I don't see myself getting again. Definitely will be returning to try other items off the menu, as they had an assortment of desserts that looked incredible.

Inside. Order at counter and they yell for your name.

Logistics. On southwest corner of Maple and Coolidge, in a strip mall. Vibe. Quaint. Asian aesthetics. TVs with menus posted. Huge pastry display when you walk in at the order counter. There are also kiosks to order online as well. We ordered at the counter, and sat ourselves. They yell for your name and bring out your order to your table. Comestibles and Potables. The Oreo and Matcha add Pistachio lattes were creamy and delicious. The Pistachio cookie was soft, not sweet, but good. The Postickers were excellent -- crisp-chewy combo, savory filling, and excellent dipping sauce. Hospitality. Counter help was friendly and knowledgeable. HOWEVER... super sad on the delivery time for the Postickers. The food deliverer said it would be an additional 5 minutes. So, after waiting 15 minutes, I went to the counter to inquire on the situation.... wondering, if these are so delayed because they are painstakingly slowly handmaking them, were they out of product, all sorts of stories I am swirling in my mind. Then, I was told it will take 5 minutes. Finally, after 10 minutes, it was delivered. I had to make it known that it took at least 25 minutes for this delivery after inquiring twice about them, and told it would take 5 minutes. She apologized, explaining it was an internal issue -- but acknowledged finally my disappointment of the service. So, she offered a dessert to make me feel better. It was appreciated that something was offered for acknowledging how bummed I was and owning their error. It recovered my annoyance, and earned them 4 stars instead of 3. Of note. Lot parking. Loos were cleaned and stocked. The hours posted on the front glass doors erroneously say: 11am-12pm. But obviously we were there past 12pm and the place was PACKED. Great 3rd space and may come back.

The place is very spacious, cutely decorated, and the staff was nice. At first there wasn't a place to seat my group of 4 but then tables opened up as we were waiting for our order. My boyfriend ordered the Taro Matcha which he was okay and we shared the Ube Taro Tiramisu which was good, the flavors were light and not too strong. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha and it was good. Overall good experience and I would like to come back to try other flavors and their food. I will note though that I wish they had different size options.

Pistachio milk shake
Clare R.

Really cute Cafe that I just happen to stumble across. They have a variety of drinks from milk teas, smoothies, coffee drinks that come hot or cold. There is also a food menu that I plan to try out during future visits. I ordered the pistachio milkshake. The picture looked amazing but it didn't deliver the pistachio flavor and lacked the green color so it threw me off. But then It tasted was more like a vanilla milkshake. A little disappointed. The other order was a taro matcha milk tea. That was really tasty. Note that some of these drinks only come in a large size. Sizing is tall but in a slim cup. Very little interaction with the workers as you place your order in a kiosk. The order was prepared in a reasonable time frame. I would try Htea again. Plan to try a rice bowl and my usual Taro milk tea.

Coming back from a long hiatus on Yelp to leave a 5-star review for this little family owned…read morerestaurant in Madison Heights. We saw a few reviews and thought we had to try it - we ordered three entrées, as well as a bubble tea. The bubble tea was amazing - we ordered an oolong lychee tea with Boba. The boba was soft and chewy and exactly the right texture, and the tea was perfectly sweet and fresh. Out of the three entrees that we ordered, we loved the wide rice noodles with beef the most. It was so delicious with great beefy flavor, and just the right amount of char on the beef. The noodles were also done to exactly the right consistency. We also loved the pork belly rice bowl, which felt like a dish that my mom would make at home. The mapo tofu was also incredible, with just the right amount of that numbing Sichuan peppercorn flavor. Overall, the portions were huge! We didn't expect to get as much food as we did, and we definitely have leftovers for the rest of the week. Love this place, and we will be back again!

Good options from meats, veggies, noodles, fish/meat balls, etc. Very easy to rack up to nearly 2lbs of food... but makes for great leftovers. Had to top it off with a refreshing, icy dessert. The perfect combination. The taro paste was so delicious. Lots of places to sit. Staff is swift and kind. Would return!

OK...now that you all know where it's located (corner of Rochester Road/Big Beaver - S/W corner) on to the good stuff. It's a cute little shop, definitely Instagram-worthy. When you walk in, do not walk up to the counter to order, you MUST use the kiosk. Therein lies my gripe. Sometimes, hard to believe, I only want 1, ONE, donut. Here, you can only order 3, 6 or 9. It's not like, I can't eat 3 donuts but diet-wise, maybe I only want one. In any case, there is no flexibility in ordering. Once you complete the kiosk order, they call your name and you go up to the counter to order. There are regular flavors and special flavors. I went for a mix and limited myself to three because since this was my first time, I wanted to the whole experience. I ordered the taro-ube, strawberry shortcake, and tiramisu. If you've never had a mochi donut, they are made from glutinous rice flour so they are chewier then the average cake or yeast donut. These donuts are topped with frosting which gives each donut their unique flavor. They are definitely a 10 on the sugar overload scale. My favorite was the strawberry shortcake because it reminded me of the Good Humor strawberry shortcake ice cream bar I used to eat as a kid. It also gave me the sugar buzz I got as a kid from eating too much sugar. There is also a laundry list of different types of drinks but I was short on time and my AC1 couldn't handle more sugar. I'll have to come back another time just for a drink. If you've never had a mochi donut, I recommend stopping by with a friend and splitting a few.
