To be honest, the owner of this shop is very nice, though it's hard to run into him. He might remember me because I once complained about an Oreo Snow drink that wasn't blended properly--the ice chunks were too big--and he kindly gave me a refund for it. Coming back to today's issue, I really don't know where those black specks came from. The ice? The tea? Or were they inside the aloe vera or mango jelly container? Either way, the staff should have noticed it when scooping it into the cup since the liquid wasn't cloudy or dark. Even though the drink didn't have any bad smell, it gave off a "mouse droppings" vibe, so I couldn't bring myself to drink it. I feel a bit disappointed, even though I know the owner is a really good person. Sorry. Update: The owner reached out to me within 24 hours and refunded both drinks, even though I only complained about one. Thank you! I hope you can double-check where things went wrong because it was honestly disappointing to buy a drink, take a sip, find something wrong with it, and have to throw it away. My go-to is the hazelnut at 25% sugar, I don't think I could handle it at full power. Even at 25%, it's plenty sweet. Their fruit teas are pretty great too, and full of freshly cut fruit. I recommend trying all the flavors! You might find a new favorite! You can mix and match as much as you want. My only gripe is the price, and I feel like - at least as far as the donuts are concerned - you pay as much for the box as you do for the donuts. It's a very nice box, but I can't eat it. They could cut costs - and prices - by scaling back the packaging. That'd be pretty nice, but it probably doesn't fit the brand. Look around in the store - it's designed to be Instagrammed.
