Well the customer service was lacking. There are things the kiosk doesnt offer and yiu aren't made aware until you see them advertised at the pick up area. The attendants seems completely unaware of menu items displayed right in front of them. The OneZo tea is displayed as having the onezo combination of boba/tapioca but it really doesnt come with any so be aware. Fruit Tea was super sweet the other tea was weak. On my most recent visit - I am reminded that OneZo is my favorite boba spot in Michigan. There's something about fresh boba. It truly just hits differently - like a fresh gummy bear --- the perfect amount of QQ (chewiness, spring). I ordered the One Zo milk tea (less sweeneter) with taro and black sesame boba. TBH, the taro didn't really taste like anything. I bet it's more enhanced in taro milk tea or with more taro. The black sesame though so stand out! Delish. Ironically this place use to be my least favorite boba place was it first opened. At first their menu didn't have many things that I personally liked. But I kept wanting to give them a try. Over the years this is my favorite boba tea place in MI. Their locations out of state doesn't match here. I love how they always have these awesome themes for their drinks also. Right now they have the Berry Blitz going on. Their Onezo boba mix is very good with any drink. Always get the Onezo mix!!! I'm a fan of their Velvet cream because it was suggested by one of the workers. A few summers ago they had this Yakult drink and I wish they would bring it back! The staff is always friendly and the manager is just so sweet. The shop is nice and cozy with great lofi music playing. The decorations and designs are very comforting too. A staff member makes these little flowers for you to take if you're feeling down. It's always a cheering things to see that. Definitely please support this wonderful business. Came here to get some boba over the weekend. This time I got the usual OneZo milk tea half ice 25% sweet with their mix of boba. I didn't realize until I looked at their menu that their recommended sweetness level is 50% (which I normally get) and I thought it was a tad too sweet, hence I ordered the next step down. I thought that 25% sweet was okay, although now I kind of wish that they had a 33% sweetness option. I think I'll continue to get the 25% sweetness since it just adds a hint of sugar to the drink. As for the boba, this was kind of on the softer side, but hardened up to the perfect consistency once it was in the cold drink for longer. I noticed that OneZo now offers a surprise drink option, although it's priced similarly to their other drink options. I'm not sure if I would ever get it, maybe if there was a small discount since I can see this being a method to offload drink ingredients that are getting past their prime. Maybe it's the cynic in me? They also came out with new summer special drinks too, which I'm looking forward to trying. read more

As a boba tea virgin who tries to avoid both caffeinated and sweet drinks, I had some apprehension when my coffee and tea group chose this place to visit. Onezo, your drinks are phenomenal and your service is typically excellent! Unfortunately one of your baristas seriously lacks situational awareness and respect for her co workers and customers. I'm sorry to say that in the 10 minutes we were there, she sat on a stool on the bar floor and had conversation on the phone. Thankfully, there were two other girls on shift who took care of taking orders and making drinks. At one point however, they were both making drinks and a new customer came in to order at the register and instead of hanging up or pausing her phone call, she tried to say something to one of the other baristas regarding her phone call and in turn the barista put her finger up to her mouth in a "shhh" motion. I felt so bad for the customer and secondhand embarrassment for the baristas. I 100% don't want this young girl to get fired because that's just it, she's young. I believe OneZo is the only boba shop in Michigan that makes their boba in house. This allows them to make boba in various flavors that aren't found at other places - things like fruit flavored boba, sesame boba, etc. I've been to a couple of other locations before and have always found their boba to be consistently above average. OneZo Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ OneZo Boba ($5.98) - The milk tea has a pretty standard pre-brewed black tea taste. 50% sweet was actually a little too sweet for me here. I didn't look at the boba flavors this time, but I could tell there was a mix of at least crystal, strawberry, and mango boba. The boba, as always, is a little harder than I normally like it, but like with most handmade boba, it retains a pleasant, somewhat uniform chewy texture throughout. I don't believe they soak the boba in any particular sweet liquid. OneZo is definitely worth a visit even if only for their flavored boba gimmick. read more

Admittedly I've only been here once ... but this may be my favorite boba spot in Michigan?! It's not hard to find great boba, but OneZo is on a different level. First off - they make their tapioca in-house! Super fresh with a perfect toothiness. And they have more options than just the standard black tapioca or popping boba - do yourself a favor and check out the sesame!! I ended up getting the brown sugar dirty matcha latte and then came back later in the day to get the strawberry yakult drink (this had club soda in it - a little carbonation YUM), which was one of the four specials they had currently to celebrate the strawberry festival! Both were SO GOOD! I think what sets OneZo apart in particular from other boba shops are its boba. They don't just have your standard, run-of-the-mill black tapioca balls, they have so many flavored varieties of tapioca you can put into your drink, freshly made in house, and the flavors are constantly changing too! My brown sugar dirty matcha latte came with brown sugar boba, and it was so deeply brown sugar SOAKED, I really appreciated it. They also have "OneZo" tapioca, which is a combination of three different flavors of boba balls, a taro, mango, and third flavor I can't remember. Ordered a medium strawberry mochi niuniu and a medium strawberry iced spring tea (a light green tea base) with half sesame boba and the crystal boba (flavorless boba). OneZo has the best tapioca pearls! I personally love the black sesame tapioca and they have seasonal flavors in addition to their regulars. The tea itself is great but not my favorite in the area. Although the parking lot can get a bit crowded due to the set up, I have never had an issue getting a spot. Be sure to check out their Instagram for the latest store hours and if anything is out of stock. Best boba in Michigan and maybe even in the midwest! Back when I lived in Ann Arbor, I would spontaneously make the one hour drive with friends just to treat ourselves with some delicious boba. My go-to is the OneZo milk tea with sesame tapioca! The one thing that is unique about this chain is their bubbles. The OneZo tapioca is fruity and perfect bubble consistency but the sesame tapioca is the best because I love sesame and it's different than all the other places I've been. We ordered 3 drinks from the doordash, which were ruined by poor packaging. The bag immediately ripped once grabbed after being dropped off by the door dasher. They asked what happened and told us that they noticed something was wrong with the bag when they picked up the drinks. They asked the employee for a new one, and the employee refused. In addition, the employees packaged the bags poorly. They just threw 3 drinks into a single bag without a cup divider. good stuff. my friend and i came here to grab boba. as i was looking at the menu, i already chose what i wanted but i let my friend go first and it's so funny because she wanted the same thing as me but i went ahead and went with her suggestion since it was my first time here. i got the grapefruit and she got passion fruit. i ended up not liking the grapefruit. i love that they use real fruit but it was not it for me. i don't really like bitter/sour tastes. she insisted that i try hers and immediately i liked it and she just let me have hers and she have mines. so we switched drinks. she didn't finish hers at all, so i'm sure she lied, she didn't like it either at this point, i'm assuming. because i'm being a fatty drinking the one she got and she's not drinking the one she told me to get, lol. the barista was friendly. didn't take long to make our drinks because we came at a time there was less customers, in the afternoon around 2-3pm. so it was a quiet ambiance. i'll definitely give it another go but won't be getting the grapefruit one. maybe i will try it again just to see if it's something i can end up liking or absolutely don't. read more

I didn't get pics but their drinks are as good as they look. I ordered the brown sugar dirty Oolong. I was confused because I normally associate "dirty" with adding espresso but the server clarified it referred to the brown sugar boba. I assumed the drink was non dairy since it was made with oolong tea (creamer is used in places I usually frequent) and I asked the server and he confirmed, but then I noticed the person making the drink pouring regular milk into it. She was nice enough to make me another with oat milk even though I told her she didn't have to (I just prefer not to drink whole milk). Even after the confusion, the drink was delish! The boba was the perfect texture and the server's recommendation of sweetness level was spot on. This was my cousin's first time trying boba so she ordered the Pineapple Date Berry with crystal boba and she loved it. Now she's hooked like the rest of us! I was in Detroit visiting family for a weekend so sadly I may never get to go back, but I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area. I cannot resist a new bubble tea establishment. I found this by chance since I was visiting the bakery next door. I wandered in here and looked around before going to the bakery, then decided, I could not leave this area without getting a bubble tea. It says it is from Taiwan which is a plus, I love getting stores in Michigan that are found outside the country since I am not able to travel as much as I wish I could. That way, I can try places I would not normally be able to try. I also like that they have a fun variety of tapioca. I do want to try their purple taro boba next time. This time I tried the brown sugar black tea with the traditional black pearls. They asked me if I wanted it 25% sweet but I told them I typically liked it 100%. They were very helpful and advised that would be really sugary and made it only slightly sweeter. It was perfect! The black tea flavor really came through and the brown sugar was nice and warm cut with the chill of the ice, spectacular. The bobas are supposed to be made in-house. They tasted fresh and gooey. They did have a distinct flavor and size unique to this place. They had some interesting flavors and I know that one of the kids would love it here. I am not sure about the other. I looked at some of the pictures in the reviews and decided to go with the brown sugar dirty milk and it comes with brown sugar bobas. They ask you how much ice you want in there.
