When going to a new boba place I always get the same order to standardize my reviews: A Regular Milk Tea, less sweet, less ice. My verdict: An excellent milk tea! Tea is pretty much of great quality and well made, but what sets this place apart compared to others is it's Tapioca. OneZo Tapioca is probably one of the best I've had in Metro Detroit: not too sweet, but also has an excellent flavor profile and texture which is unique (and even better) compared to surrounding milk tea locations. You have to come here at least once to try the tapioca (I got the OneZo Tapioca which is a mix of 3 different types). Easily 5 star quality in my book. I visited OneZo in Troy for the first time. I tried the mango tea drink with mango tapioca. What I liked most about the drinks is that they are customizable, you can customize the sugar and ice level as well as the tapioca pearls. I loved trying the bubble tea. My daughter had a fun bubble tea drink that was strawberry flavored. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. Highly recommended and will be back! read more

It was a cute little place and the milk tea is pretty good! We got the brown sugar dirty milk and uji matcha latte. The brown sugar dirty milk was actually really good. The drink itself was not sweet but the boba was pleasantly soft, bouncy and sweet. It left an amazing aftertaste! I would def order this drink again. The uji matcha latte was just okay in my opinion, it does look amazing for pictures tho haha. As for the price it's actually decent but their medium size is actually quite small. Experience: A couple of friends and I are originally from Chicago and were visiting Detroit. We were in the mood for some bubble tea and came across this place. That being said, the location is a bit of drive from Detroit, but one of the few to actually sell bubble tea. Overall, it definitely did not disappoint. Parking: The business has a provided parking lot that guest can use. That being said, there was no difficulty trying whatsoever when it comes to find parking, which is a great plus. However, there is limited spots, so just be aware when taking a visit. I'm not sure if this place gets big rushes, which may generate heavy traffic. Worth: The ambience of the place was pretty cool. It definitely can be used as a photo opp. It seems like they have plenty places to sit. The staff was professional and the drink was okay. One of the better boba places in metro Detroit! When I first moved to the area there was only Bambu and Kung Fu Tea. This place is beyond better. They have a standard menu in addition to a seasonal menu which changes every so often. I got the totaro Mochi milk tea which had Mochi paste on the bottom of the drink and added purple boba. There was about 5 people ahead of us when we arrived around 6pm but the line moved quickly and we got our drinks in under 10 mins. read more

Excellent boba! I got a dirty matcha matcha latte at their recommended 25% sweetness and it was ~chef's kiss~. Dirty just means brown sugar syrup by the way. The drink also comes with bobas (don't need to ask them to add it) which were the perfect soft but chewy texture. read more

Tried this place yesterday and wasn't anything special. I got the taro milk tea and Thai milk tea for my brother. I wanted the crystal tapioca but they were sold out so I opted for sesame, but that was also sold out. I went with the tarp instead and it wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't notable. The employees were pretty cold and kind of treated me like I was wrong for not being able to hear them over the loud music they were playing. I probably won't come here again, I didn't really feel welcome at all and the drinks were the same quality you could get at any boba shop. Growing up in SoCal I've become very pick when it comes to boba and I'm always looking for new places to satisfy my crazy boba obsession so let's get down to the nitty gritty: 1. Decor Shop is super cute. I love the minimalistic appearance and clean look. They have a cute swing in the front which may make for some nice IG pics and a sign to take photos as well. Also related, it's really easy to get into the center where this shop is located and there is ample parking out front. 2. Service Really friendly front staff, no complaints. They work quickly too and my drink was out pretty fast. 3. Drink I ordered the brown sugar dirty milk tea. I know the store is new and they're probably working out some kinks but my drink literally just tasted like milk. Even after mixing it just seemed too milky and I wasn't getting that brown sugar flavor. I think if it were a little less milk and more of the syrup it would've been perfect. Right now the best brown sugar milk tea for me in the area is still ding tea but this place can easily match it too. 4. Boba The brown sugar dirty milk tea comes with brown sugar boba which was really warm when I got it. Fresh boba, I like it! The boba was chewy and sweet, no major inconsistencies for me. More often than not, newer boba shops and baristas often have like a hard or undercooked boba. My drink didn't have any and the boba itself was a lot of the reason I finished the drink despite it being so milky. I'd say it's one of the best in the area that I've had so far. Such a cute spot! I've already been there twice in the past four days. It's literally five minutes away from the mall, so it's the perfect pitstop after doing some shopping. The minimalistic ambience is both photogenic and comfortable. The store has a slate gray color palette with pops of greenery and fresh-cut flowers. Also, there's a small collection of Supreme paraphernalia on display, if you're into streetwear and the such. The suspended swing by the sunny windows is also fun to lounge on. The tapioca at Onezo is made on-site, so it has that perfect bouncy texture. Overall, I think this is a great place to buy some bubble tea. Will definitely be returning! read more

I was so tired of the other boba tea places by me because it was either too sweet even though I ask for 24-50% sweetness or I don't taste the tea at all. So when I went onezo, the first week it opened, I was so happy at the to see the menu because it gave the recommended sugar level. I ordered a few drinks including the dirty tea and it was all so delicious. It was so delicious that the next day I got some for my friends and sister-in-law and they enjoyed it so much. The purple boba was so soft and not overly chewy, the other bobas were also good with a tint of flavor but not overwhelming. I actually tasted the tea in these drinks and the price, wow it was cheaper than kung fu, ding tea, and kuma which was a plus. Hands down one of the best bubble tea's I have ever had! I recently moved to Florida, and I dearly miss this place. I used to be a regular (weekly visits) when I was in Michigan. I have tried most of their drinks, my favorite is Juicy Peach during the season. Dirty brown sugar, Taro and Strawberry mochi are good alternatives. They also have bubble waffle for a quick bite. Since I moved to Michigan 2 Years ago I have been on a constant search for a go-to boba place. After moving to the Troy area, I can confidently say that this is the one! As someone that has lived in Southern California his whole life, it was a change moving to Michigan and not seeing a boba place on every corner so I was fortunate to have this place only a block away from me. Soon after moving, I visited this place over 4 times in the first month I found out about it. On my first visit here I really enjoyed the inside of the store, it has a nice modern look and various art that makes it very hip. They have a pretty diverse menu but what I found most unique were the different boba styles they have and the rotating seasonal boba. In addition to that, they have various drinks that rotate in and out depending on the season as well. On my first visit there I tried some of the various teas and my favorite so far has to be the Brown sugar dirty milk. Recently they have some peach seasonal drinks that I am absolutely obsessed with. I have gotten the Juicy peachy a couple of times in a month.
