Nice coffee shop with good pastry selections. Like the variety of seating. Was nice and toasty warm inside. Many students and working groups. Enjoyed the softer chairs off to side.

Recommend!! Service is nice, food is good, and a great atmosphere for studying! Everything was delicious. They also had free WiFi (that we had a hard time getting to work but it could have just been us lol) Super cute place with a lot of unique options! The prices aren't horrible either!! I also adore how if you get your drinks and food to stay, everything is reusable.

New spot where Qamaria use to be. Coffee is very similar to other locations of this kind. They do have more options for dessert or pastries. Standard service, and place is clean with ample seating.

Solid coffee option. There is a decent amount of space to sit and they don't blast music or overpower the environment so you can definitely sit here and relax or work.

Note: They charge a 3% credit card fee…read more I visit Michigan a few times a year, and I'm surprised it took me this long to find Sourdough Ida. I love a good bakery, and I'm so glad Metro Detroit (in particularly Troy) has an artisan bread spot like this. I wanted to try it before I left the area, so my high school friend and I checked it out during our lunch break earlier this week. After we got out of the car, parked a few spots away from the bakery, I could smell the freshly baked, yeasty aroma which got me even more excited. The interior is small and simple, but there's a variety of sourdough options (see menu attached), focaccias, and pastries. On the right side, there's also granolas and teas for sale, along with samples of the hibiscus tea which was refreshing. "E. BAGEL" SOURDOUGH - 13 My dad likes bread and eats a couple slices raw for breakfast everyday, so I figured he might like the "everything but the bagel" option. It was nutty, but also fluffy and bouncy. I don't get the appeal of eating bread on its own; if it were up to me, I would enjoy this with some toppings like avocado and tomato. LEMON + BLUEBERRY SCONE - 4.50 I didn't really want to try any of the scones because the amount of glaze drizzled on top made me think it was going to be way too sweet. My high school friend bought me one to try, and it was actually not sweet at all! The scone was nutty, lightly sweetened by the lemon glaze that wasn't even that sweet. I love the combination of lemon and blueberry. This is different than other scones I've had! CHOCOLATE + ORANGE MUFFIN - 5 Good and also not too sweet. This leans more chocolate tasting than orange, which is a bit subtle. It didn't taste overly fatty either, which aren't most muffins! Pretty solid, but I enjoyed the scone more. I really liked the sourdough and pastries from Sourdough Ida. I'm excited to get more of the scones in future visits!

Wow best Sourdough bread I have had in Metro Detroit. My go to Sourdough is Zingermans which I…read morehave eaten since my college days in Ann Arbor (Go Blue!) where this bread is literally head and shoulders better than that which is saying a lot! Their Classic Sourdough is great and the Everything Bagel Sourdough is absolutely exceptional in my opinion. There are other Sourdough variants sold here that are equally good to include Seeded, Jalapeño & Cheddar and Whole Wheat. Absolutely tasty across the board. Relative to the facility, it has a relatively small footprint where there is an order counter with fresh bread behind it and a sampling station out front in the customer area. The samples are of all the breads and generous in size allowing you the ability to taste what they have to offer before picking your bread. I went in planning on getting only the Classic Sourdough but after sampling the bread I ended up getting the Everything bagel as well which I am guessing is a common occurrence with new customers like myself (: As mentioned in other reviews this bread is a bit on the pricey side where My Classic Sourdough was $10 a loaf and the Everything Bagel is $13 a loaf. Price aside, quality of this nature and the organic Artisan nature of the bread usually comes at a premium which at least in my case is worth it as this bread is just so darn good! The old axiom that you get what you pay for applies here. I will definately be returning in the near future and will be buying this bread as one of the center peaces for family get togethers going forward.

The food was fresh, hot, and beautifully plated -- fluffy pancakes topped with fruit and powdered sugar, a hearty breakfast bowl/hash with perfectly cooked eggs, and a delicious avocado toast situation that hit the spot. The sweet bites we tried were also amazing (light, warm, and not overly greasy). Drinks were great too -- super refreshing and the iced coffee was creamy and indulgent. Service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. The restaurant was clean, cozy, and had that bright brunch vibe that makes you want to stay a while. Highly recommend -- 5 stars!

It felt very forced. We ordered - I had the Morning Meditation and the Avocado Toast. My husband had the Honey Crunch Iced Coffee and the Elevated Egg Sandwich on a croissant. When my drink came, the server left it on the table without a straw. I waited thinking she was getting one and when she was gone for a while, I went to the counter to get it myself. The drink itself is excellent - you can taste the ginger and orange but not the beet. Very refreshing. The Avocado Toast was a disappointment. There was no flavor to it and the hard poached eggs I ordered were soft poached. I wouldn't get this again. My husband liked his drink and food. He let me try the egg sandwich and it was very flavorful. It's just a heavy item for breakfast. We had not visited this location since just after Covid because the service and food were declining. This visit was just okay. They were so much better when they first opened.

I was recommended this coffee shop by a family member since they know how much I love coffee. They…read moresaid, "the best coffee, I've ever had." A bit of background on my obsession on coffee, I am not an individual that drinks a cup of joe with 500 syrups and 80 cups of milk and say "this is the best coffee EVER!" If it's my first time getting coffee from a coffee shop, I will get a plain black coffee. Therefore, I ordered black iced coffee, which had a good balance in flavors. As for a second coffee, I ordered the Iced Cafe Miel Latte with oat milk. This drink was very good and there was an even ratio between coffee and milk, not too sweet too. Originally, I wanted to grab my coffee and sit inside the coffee shop (from the view outside, the shop looked pretty and modern) but there was no parking spots and the parking lot is beyond small but I did see folks park in the establishment next door and walk over. The drive thru is narrow but the wait time was a bit long and the person at the drive thru didn't seem enthusiastic. Overall, I did enjoy the coffee but I do not see the hype. It basic coffee, nothing that stands out from the rest. I must say the coffee was a bit overpriced, it did not match the quantity. Would I recommend this place to others? I would, only if you're in the area. I wouldn't drive out of my way (20 min) to grab a coffee from this spot.
