The total was about $14 and change, and I was pleasantly surprised at how big the portion was when it came out. They also have a great, but limited selection of coffee drinks with pictures as well. I stuck with water this time since I was good on the coffee. Food was great, even though I was confused about what bread it was served on. I went with the turkey sausage which I normally don't like because it's just so salty. I also received a nice salad with it as well, which was good and healthy. I really like it here, it's better than my usual coney island and in a great location. I know this place used to be a sub shop back in the day, but they closed some time ago. The lotus wrap was delicious, the wrap itself is grilled in some sort of cheese crumble. The wrap was packed full of chicken and veggies. For a quick bite to eat, everything was excellent! Frankie was a former dean of the Kresge Library and a donor to the endeavor. Anyway, the café offers a delightful abundance of fresh fruit, assorted muffins, bagels, salads and sandwiches from Chartwells (OU's dining service provider). The café also highlights Peet's Coffee & Tea; a California based coffee company that holds the first Gold Certified LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design), very artisan, organic and environmentally friendly. The café is a very contemporary lounge with black and gold motif and paintings featuring local artists adorning the walls. There are booths, personal tables, and raised bar-style tables perfect for studying or just enjoying an afternoon of kaffeeklatsch. I can make all these on my own too after a quick Asian grocery run and spending just one hour to cook. A bit disappointed that day. And the price was on the higher end considering the amount of food and the overall presentation. I was offered a dessert for free as I was leaving the restaurant. It was good. I'm seeing new posts about other food items and those do look delicious. I'd still revisit this Taiwanese restaurant when I'm in town again but will try these new, better foods instead.
