Came here after an event in birmingham. Got the maple syrup and sea salt flavored latte with whole milk. It was not too sweet which was what I asked for. The service was nice. The atmosphere was clean. There were multiple people on the inside enjoying their coffees and teas and pastry items. Small store but very well run. Their coffee is medium and strength and the lattes are tasty but not overbearing.

This charming and cozy coffee shop serves up fresh, flavorful salads, delicious baked goods (including gluten-free options), and creative drinks! I tried the pistachio coconut latte it was perfectly balanced, not watered down by ice or milk. Great barista staff Ambiance is beautiful and chill Definitely worth a visit!

The service was friendly but slow. We had this exchange: Me: How is the soup? Server: I'm not sure we have soup, let me check. 10 minutes later, my soup came out of a microwave at a satanic molten lava temperature. No crackers! The matcha was pretty good. When the soup cooled, it was good enough but not spectacular. I wouldn't come here for food. Or if you have a time crunch. But it's cute. European-cozy ambience. And it was friendly, that matters!

Will was phenomenal and truly made the experience. He was incredibly helpful while assisting with our order and his energy elevated the whole visit. He also shared that everything is made in house, which made the experience feel even more special. We ordered the Chicken Masala Sandwich, an Affogato, and a chocolate chip cookie. The Chicken Masala sandwich was absolutely delicious. The flavor profile tasted clean, fresh, and thoughtfully crafted. For the Affogato, we sampled several ice cream flavors before landing on vanilla, cookie butter, and dark chocolate. The cookie butter was the standout and absolutely phenomenal, but honestly any of the options would have been a great choice. The chocolate chip cookie was also incredible. I warmed it up in the oven after getting home and it completely took it to another level. If I had one recommendation, it would be offering warmed cookies in house because that made it next level. Overall, a great experience with standout food and exceptional service. Will alone made us want to come back.

My favorite go to is the iced rose cardamom latte and their breakfast brioche sandwich. Just recently tried their cookies as well and it's unreal. The nuns are welcoming and happy to answer your questions. There's a good selection of sweet and savory selections. My companions enjoyed a mushroom crepe and apple pie. Being GF the selection was limited to two kinds of cake and creme brulee which is not my ideal choice for breakfast. Just keep that in mind if you have dietary restrictions. Otherwise everything was tasty. There are also religious souvenirs/gifts sold on premises as well as some food items such as jams and pickles.

Lots of pastry items on display, packaged cookies, religious section too. The bakery goods and pastries don't look so good in person. Took a pass. Grabbed a small green tea (Steep) and a large oat milk latte. Their large coffee comes with two espresso shots, added one more shot. $11.77 All ingredients are organic. The green tea is super hot, really needs two sleeves. Took the top off to cool down the scalding water some. My husband said his oat milk latte isn't so good, he said he's good if we never come back at all. He was confused how a simple drink could come out so badly. My green tea tastes like Lipton, no hint of green tea flavoring to me.

Despite the place being empty on Sunday morning, the staff still made so many mistakes with our order it was ridiculous. There is no cream/sugar/stirs station so every time you need something you have to ask. The coffee was good, so were the cider donuts, but that was it. The avocado toast has almost zero avocado, I couldn't taste it at all. The breakfast sandwich was made on a stale and reheated bagel from the bag. We were not impressed at all, and won't be back. It also costed is $30 for a very poor breakfast experience.

I think the cold brew is great as they always have rotating flavors for the foam- I got the lemon honey cold foam and it was delicious! Knocking off a star tho as it's an up charge for cold foam added to the cold brew charge ($6.00 for 12 oz I believe). Pretty sure I got up charged for no reason! I also love the carrot cake cupcake here (what's up doc it's called, I believe). I usually get one mini which is $2.25. They also sell Blakes jams here which are super tasty and beat the Whole Foods/ other brands! I recommend trying the Blake's triple jam. Highly recommend coming here for quality eats and the mini muffins are delish!

Was there in early June and the coffee and service were both good, as was the savory pastry I got. The main issue with this place is the noise... not for the usual reason in coffeeshops where they play music too loud, but it's a raucous and busy place, which speaks well of the business. But far worse than noisy conversation there's this bell on both the front and back entrances that plays a little five note electric tune every time someone comes in or leaves... Why is it there? Why is it needed? The fact that only a few people have noted it here perhaps speaks more of our noise-polluted lives than anything else, but it's maddening as this thing goes off literally every minute or more, constant, tintinnabulations of the bell, bell, bell, bell, bell... There was an employee taking a break on his phone listening to YouTube videos out loud, too... I guess we're all just so used to this now. So if you want a quiet cafe to get work done, this ain't it. Maybe it's more of a Central Perk scene, with people meeting socially, all who liked the place before it became cool.
