I'm out taking my sister around and I needed a latte. So of course I pulled out my handy dandy galaxy and open Yelp to find the nearest shop. I stepped into Rommy and was blown away. Oh boy! I loved it here. The aesthetics were just amazing! Not to mention the customer service was top tier! I loved the energy, smiles, and great conversation. If you happen to be in the area, please stop by. You will not be disappointed.

Such a cute place!, The gentleman behind the counter was very nice & took the time to explain ingredients. I recently bought the fresh cream choco cake to a gathering, it was a great hit, so good & light.. The fruits were very fresh & it was elegantly decorated. I highly recommend giving this place a try, I wouldn't compare it to the previous shop it was, this has a different vibe. Can't wait to be back to try their drinks!

Visited on a Thursday night around 7pm for a dessert. They still had a decent amount of options for it being late in the day. We ordered 2 pieces of cake and the total was around $14. The cake was great and tasted fresh! There is a lot of seating here, it's decorated nicely and the staff was great! We will be back.

Another one of those places that I can't believe I haven't written a review for yet because I absolutely love love love Blossom! It's located in the plaza right next to Meijer on Rochester and Auburn, across from the Hampton Village Centre plaza. I feel like Blossom is one of the hidden gems of Rochester. It's Asian-owned, which we love to see, and they make the most delicious and unique pastries and goodies! They have all sorts of drinks like coffee and teas and boba, but my personal favorites here and what I believe to be their showstoppers are their sweets! They make the best macarons for miles and miles and always carry both traditional (vanilla bean, nutella, etc.) and unique flavors (fruity pebbles, cookies and cream, lychee rose, etc.). They also carry delicious cookies in the same - traditional and unique flavors - and hot cocoa bombs of all kinds! Blossom does super special limited edition/themed goodies throughout the year as well. I've gotten the whole set of their Taylor Swift Eras macarons, the Lunar New Year macarons, their ube cream paczki on Fat Tuesday, the Pokeball hot cocoa bombs that has a meringue surprise Pokemon inside, and so much more! I love Blossom for being so consistent in the amazing quality of their goodies, while also being able to be so creative with their offerings as well! It's truly a treat every time I come here to see my favorites in the display case while also getting to discover new soon-to-be favorite items as well! All the staff here are so friendly as well! There's a ton of tables inside for you to sit and enjoy your sweets and drinks, and they also can easily package things up for you to take to-go as well! Do yourself a favor and check out Blossom - you won't regret it!

This cute little shop is the perfect place for a delicious treat. They have macarons at $3 a piece, cookies $1.90-3 a piece depending on the kind, and brownies for $3.75. They have specialty lattes to go with your treat along with frozen ones. If you do get a cookie, the salted caramel is amazing. The staff asked if I wanted it warmed up. It tasted better warmed up. They sometimes have day old cookies or broken ones for a cheaper price. Those cookies taste just as good as the fresh ones! The macarons are amazing. They are fluffy and have the perfect amount of filling. They have a variety of flavors to choose from as well.

The staff was very kind! I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't have cold brew and my friend Matcha was just OK. He was accommodating and gave me an iced Americano with almond milk. The dessert was OK, but I would've rather order the tiramisu..

I would like to start with how clean everything was during my visit! Including the bathroom! There's lots of different treats to choose from! I got a hot cocoa with a shot of espresso and a macaroon and both of them were bold with flavor! 10/10 The blossom cafe and bakery is definitely cozy and welcoming! The staff are artists at what they do and very friendly and kind to all who came to savor some treats! They are attentive to making sure they ask if you are ok with dairy products as well! Definitely stop by and try something! There's a great amount to choose from and they also have vegan macaroons!

Favorite boba spot in the area! Have a nice range of flavors, there's something for everyone! Me and my friends have tried quite a bit over the years and have truly never had a bad experience! Everyone is always super kind and service is fantastic!! There's plenty of seating if you have time to sit down, and they even have board games!

My coffee was delicious! I also tried the lemon madeleines and they were perfect! The atmosphere is quiet and I enjoyed studying here.

Spinach feta lattice pastry and coffee for breakfast- with a slice of cake to share.

My friend suggested we try Rommy Cake and Coffee in Rochester, new to us. I guess new to most everyone as they only opened a month ago. I chose spinach feta lattice pastry and coffee and it did not disappoint. Flaky pastry with melt in your mouth filling! We shared pieces of strawberry cake and Oreo cake. Both were delicious and not too sweet. Perfectly creamy frosting with a sugared strawberry on top. The Oreo cake had a surprise crunch in the middle! This is a small, cozy place, very cute! Rommy the owner is Korean, and both she and her associate were warm, friendly, ready to serve. Now I need to go back and try the bubble tea and Macarons.

I came to Blossom on a Thursday night around closing. It was rather empty in there and Beth helped me. She was very sweet and was quick with my order. I got a macaroon and a hot chocolate and both were really tasty! I really like the vibe inside of the store it would be a nice place to go and work

Rommy is a cozy cafe that is under new ownership since 12/20/24. This rustic modern space offers a warm and inviting ambiance that is perfect for a conversation with a friend or reading a book. I had the black sesame latte & matcha cookie and both were excellent. They also sell handmade Korean style cakes in various sizes and by slice. Staff were so sweet and helpful. Will definitely be coming back often!

I picked the right time! Service was quick and easy. The macaron was tasty and they have MANY varieties! The decorations are cute, nice touch. I only wish the cashier had handed me the lid instead of placing it on the counter. Also, the lid should've fit better. It slipped off while I was drinking.

    They opened today (June 1)

How are the prices, would you say they are overpriced or reasonable?

I would say they're reasonable here. I've ordered from them for showers and it's reasonable for bulk orders. And the macarons are on the larger side!

I've been to the big world famous places and had them from the source, not just in their U.S. expansion locations. Let me tell you this. The macaron at The Blu Kitchen, this tiny little place with barely any operating hours at all, from a quality of product perspective is making delicious little morsels that compare favorably with the world's best. Some of the flavors, I'm looking at you salted caramel, are even better than what I had abroad. Of course, there are others that fall short. Notably the ones with sprinkles. However, I am told by Adina they are big sellers with the local crowd. Mon dieu. Arrive early on Saturday for the best selection. Things will sell out. But this is the cost of great food. Comparing the macaron here to others available locally, these are better than that preciously cute store in downtown Ann Arbor. The flavors are true. The textures are perfect. And they far surpass that Detroit pastry chef guy who makes other great things but whose macaron leave me disheartened. Macaron are pretty pricey for a little cookie. But when they are good, they are worth every penny. Why? Because they encapsulate a pursuit of perfection. As a small bite, they need to pack a flavorful punch. That flavor comes from the center. But here's the trick, that center cannot overshadow the rest of the confection. It has to blend seamlessly into the textures of the crisp outer shell, which coalesces into a tender almond flour interior, and that dense creamy middle. At one of the famous places in Paris, the filling was just far too stiff and produced a jarring effect. This can happen on occasion to the best macaron bakers and Adina is no exception. But her pursuit of perfection and attention to detail in every element of production are extraordinary. This review has been a long time coming and serves as a reminder to me that I need to get back to Plymouth for another fix. It's been far too long, and I saw on the gram I just missed coconut caramel. Dang it. If you are a macaron fan, you owe it to yourself to get some of these in your mouth. You can thank me later. Just skip the ones with the sprinkles, and maybe if enough of us buy the better unadorned versions, Adina will stop pandering to the crowd and make the world class treats I know she can.

The case of macarons was beautiful , multicolored rows of well labelled flavors. We each made some selections and ordered some drinks. Our hosts ordered a large French press pot to share. I had time to speak with staff about the last k of space for baking and how they arrived at so many flavors. They do not bake onsite but receive frozen shipments from the main bakery in Grand Rapids as handiest the Holland, Michigan store. They defrost enough each for each day so they never run out of flavors. They were some of best I have ever had. Nothing like what you might find in the bakery section of a grocer. It's so appealing. The macarons displayed in the case were equally appealing. I don't recall all the flavors, but I had a tough time picking out flavors for my friend and, of course, something for me. I chose three macarons to enjoy at the shop: blueberry, coconut, and strawberry cheesecake. I liked the delicate crack of the macaron shells and the creamy, flavorful centers. Each sported a design to distinguish itself from the others further. I also had a piping hot Earl Gray tea along with these treats. Espresso, French and Italian sodas, and lattes are also available. Customers stopped in throughout my visit for a quick purchase or to savor their macarons at nearby tables. Service was disappointing.
