    Salted Date Latte
    Lauren D.

This new location has a very clean vibe inside with minimal seating. It doesn't open very early, but does have a large assortment of baked goods and drinks. I have been twice, first ordered their carrot cake latter, second their salted date latte. Both were very rich and flavorful. The service was very nice but was not rushed.

From the drinks, to the pastries, to the staff and service everything was awesome! One of my favorite new go to spots ... the cookie butter latte is a must try!!!

Been 3 times since they opened, every time has been great! I'm just an espresso guy and like the taste of theirs. Just today, I ordered an espresso, and the barista said she didn't like how the first one poured, so she made me a new one and let me have both. You can definitely tell perfection is important to them. They both tastes great to me lol. My wife loves the Tiramisu Latte (half sweet, oat milk) *pictured below* Highly recommend giving them a try! Locally owned and remember that I'm a repeat customer. Also they have pup cups for your dogs to enjoy!

Cookie butter latte was amazing! The place is so cute and clean, definitely check it out. I can't wait to try the gelato

Best coffee and matcha I've had. Pastries are so good too. Super sweet staff and such a cute spot. Definitely my new go-to spot

Great experience all around! The staff were super friendly and had my drink done quickly. My daughter enjoyed the baked goods they had!

I got the salted date latte and it was delicious. Flavorful but still a rich coffee taste! They even gave me two pup cups for free!

I don't always drink tea, but when I do, you bet it's only loose leaf! I wish I'd known about this…read moreplace sooner because it's not only close to home, but absolutely fabulous. I found them a few weeks ago when I did a search of stores who actually sell loose leaf tea. The reason I like loose leaf tea versus the garbage sold in the stores is because it comes out way more flavorful, stronger and seems to taste a lot better than the stuff they sell at the grocery. I am also shocked that nobody else has been here before, as I know a few tea drinker who also happen to be active yelpers. Interesting. Anyway, the place is easy to find and right off fourth street and visible from the road. There is street parking, but a parking garage is literally right there on the other side of the street if you need it. As you know, downtown Rochester can get busy at times, so easy places to park is important. Walking in, not only is this place a tea store, but it also sells spices. They also have a ton of cool accessories to choose from throughout, which was really super cool to look at. I've also been on the hunt for the individual honey sticks that seem to be hard to find. Not only do they have the honey sticks, but they came in a variety of flavors? Like flavored honey? Exciting! I just grabbed a packet of regular honey sticks which are sitting in my kitchen now. The spice area has a much larger selection of items, from different varieties of salt, but other seasonings as well. I didn't really study the selection as the place was busy but let me tell you, there's a lot! I went to the tea section and they have all sorts of teas to choose from. I wanted something more citrus/lemon/herbal since I have a sinus infection, but I also wanted to see what else they have. Great selection, pre bagged but make sure you have the steeper's at home. If not, they sell them here too. Service was great, and the staff was knowledgeable. Nobody asked me if I needed help or followed me around the store, but when I did talk to them at check out, these people really seem to be tea oriented and educated on the product. While they aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination (more along the lines of Starbucks pricing) they are worth every penny. I will be back in the future and I wish they did a better job of advertising!

The people working here seemed nice, but I do not love paying 3% to use my card for tiny donuts. That really puts the price a bit above what I want to pay. The place is super cute with a couple tables to sit. I like that they have fun coffee drinks and dirty sodas. We had a honey cold brew, it was far, probably a 2. I would consider trying a dirty soda next time. The donuts were a 5. We eat had two. The donuts tasted like cider mill donuts, a bit dense, but freshly made, sweet with a slight crunch. I loved the toppings. I got M&M and lucky charms marshmallows. So good. We also got peanut butter, peanut butter and jelly, and butterfinger. I recommend all of the them. I will probably return and bring my other child next time. This is a fun place to get a tiny treat because sometime you just want a taste and not a huge amount of dessert or the ability to taste many different flavors.

When you walk in, you are greeted with bright, lively colors, sweet smells, and a hum of noise coming from Papa Joe's. We were there after the morning rush so it wasn't busy. We were greeted by a young woman behind the counter that displayed a multitude of small donuts decorated in over a dozen ways. We chose to get a box of 6 to share along with S'mores Cold Brew iced coffees. Our 6 "funkadelic" choices were named: Magically Delicious, Raspberry Lemonade, Raspberry Truffle, Robert Brule, Heath, Wind, and Fire, and Salted caramel Macchiato. I was most excited for the Magically Delicious because it was topped with what looked like Lucky Charms marshmallows but they were not the same kind and the mushy consistency fell flat. Both raspberry donuts were flavored as described in their names and tasted really good. The Robert Bruce is a play on a crème brûlée dessert and they complete the donut when ordered so it has a wonderfully crunchy top. The last 2 were good but I couldn't really taste the salted caramel of the Macchiato one. I love the concept here because you can try a couple different flavors without wasting food or having dried up hockey pucks the next day. I'd like to try more flavors so we'll be back. Warning to those cashless crusaders - they do tack on a 3% fee for using credit so tapper beware.
