First time stopping by while I was in the area and needed a quick coffee pick-me-up. Service was quick, barista was very friendly, and the café was clean with plenty of seating. I liked the cozy décor,it definitely has a book lover's vibe, with books throughout the café and a bookshelf where you can browse and read. The coffee was good. I probably wouldn't make a special trip just for it, but I'd definitely stop in again if I'm nearby. read more

Kahve is just the loveliest little coffee shop! It has delicious drinks and a modest selection of sweet treats. The Turkish coffee is a must try! There are armchairs and couches in addition to tables to give it a cozy vibe. There are Mexican and South American art and textiles on the walls. A great place to curl up with a book or to work from. read more

I've been meaning to try Kahve Coffee for a while now, and I probably should have read more Yelp or Google reviews to see what to get before ordering. I'm a black coffee person and there were very limited choices (espresso, drip, or cold brew). COLD BREW - 4 The cold brew here is not it. Maybe I don't prefer flavored coffee beans so that's my problem. If you also don't like flavored coffee, then you're not going to enjoy this cold brew very much. I'm happy to stop by in the future to give Kahve another try - maybe some of their pastries? Their interior is homey and inviting with lots of paintings and decorations. read more

Lovely coffee spot with great cozy interior, friendly service and delicious coffee . You can see classic turkish "cezve" on their logo. Although for making turkish coffee they use electric coffee maker. Coffee beans are of a good quality and coffee tastes good. When ordering lattes, it's only 2 shots of espresso per cup, so taking an extra shot makes it just perfect for my taste. Love the indoor and outdoor seating area. read more

I've never been here before and met a friend for coffee and some time to hang out. I was able to park out front and walk right inside. My first impression was "oh, this place is small?" I walked around and took the whole place in to see what it was I wanted to order. The menu has a variety of different drinks to choose from and their prices are fair and reasonable. The gal behind the counter really knew her stuff since I asked her about a million different questions. I ended up getting the Turkish delight, which was pretty darn good. It was small, but came in a really cute coffee cup set. I also got a little square of something with it that was quite tasty. I was sort of kind of hungry so I went to their cooler area and checked out their muffins. Look, I don't expect everything to be made on site or whatever, but the muffins were from Costco. But, I was hungry so I didn't care, and I needed something to hold down the Turkish Coffee. Overall, the place is cute, but the seating is super small and limited. They do have wifi and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable but I wouldn't say I was blown away. It does remind me of this one family owned coffee shop that I used to go to out west when I lived in Arizona. I wish they had a bigger set of tables because I can't imagine trying to do work on a computer here with the small tables. read more

My desire for an affogato brought me into Kahve on this unseasonably warm day, it definitely hit the spot. This is one of my favorite places to work, gather for coffee or simply relax. You're not going to get the same aesthetic as some of the more ritzy spots in the Woodward corridor, but you'll get a good cup of jo' and never have to argue over an outlet. I'm not sure what some reviewers are talking about, but it's actually a pretty calm and quiet place usually. There's some tables, couches and outdoor seating in the warmer months. Seating is never an issue and the customer service is friendly and warm. I consider it to be a staple in the downtown Clawson community that shouldn't be passed up. read more

This place was just OK in my opinion. I came here a couple days after opening after grabbing lunch at noble fish and was surprised they'd open the store with barely anything in it. They had one table and absolutely nothing in their glass case for desserts. I had the caramel late and it was good but pricy in my opinion. I don't mind spending money on food at all but $5 for a small is a little much in my opinion. Also the lids fit poorly on the cup and 1/2 of my (piping hot) late spilled on me and burned my hand lol The coffee itself was good, just be prepared to pay the premium price and watch out for the lids! read more

Finally went here today for the first time - I parked in the back and then you follow the signs around to Kahve. My first impression wasn't great, but it soon improved. I was meeting a friend who was already there, and I came in and sat down and saw they had WiFi. "WiFi is for customers" said the cashier.... Okay. I just sat down, what makes you think I'm not buying anything? I ended up getting a chai tea latte with almond milk ($3.75) which was good but a little spicy. They pour it into a regular mug which was nice; made it feel homey. Their non-coffee menu (I'm not a coffee drinker) looked fantastic: they have both frozen and Mexican hot chocolate, as well as all sorts of teas. I like supporting local businesses so I'll be back at some point. read more

Cute little coffee shop in the downtown Clawson area. Very cosy inside, and the tea latte was pretty good. Nothing super fancy, which I'm ok with especially since they don't charge $5/Cup like other mediocre places. Free internet for customers, and there is a parking lot behind the coffee shop. Not the best place for serious studying tho as it's more designed for families and groups with games and couch area in front of a fireplace. Not that many wall outlets either. read more

This is the kind of place where neighbors stop and say hi, the barista actually smiles, and the latte comes w a piece of dark chocolate, because that's the way we do it here. The place itself is not large. Along the longest wall you'll find a half dozen two-person tables. A mix of quiet laptop users and chatty friends meeting for conversation. By the window in the front there is a couch space for conversation. Facing the couch is a modern electric "fireplace". Cozy! The place feel casual but the service is friendly and attentive. In the front case you can find typical café fare: croissants, muffins, savory feta pastries, and homemade Turkish pastries. Health conscious? There are homemade energy bars for sale too. The drink to try is Turkish coffee. It is tiny, rich, and may surprise you if you're not expecting coffee grounds in the last sip. Still delicious (: They also serve delicious lattes, traditional Machiatto (small, like the italians do), and a variety of single origin drip coffees. I like the ambiance and find that I can get a lot of laptop work done here on the not-so-busy weekday mornings. I'll definitely be back. read more

In terms of noise, I'd say it's usually quiet here usually. Internet: Haven't had problems with it. Definitely reliable! Taste: The coffee is great. Last time I was in, I tried the frozen hot chocolate. Loved it! They also have baklava and such treats available. Or if you're feeling hungry, they have a pretty good grilled cheese. Was looking for a new and different spot to study and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. This place is nice and quiet to study, with the occasional business meeting happening it's pretty low-key. Very good place to get work done and not to mention amazing and stellar service. The coffee is very reasonably priced and great tasting at that. The best combo of good coffee, good service, and nice spot in general. Take it from someone who has been to many coffee shops and studied after being in medical school for 4 years, this is a nice spot to focus and great atmosphere to get the brain cells working. I absolutely love this place! I was introduced to it last month by a friend of mine who had been coming here since it opened, and I've been coming almost every day since~ I almost always use the back lot and come in through the back door, which is nice and convenient. There's a large selection of beverages, both hot and iced, and if there's anything you're not sure of, they're always happy to explain it to you and help you decide. You can get a punch card and get a punch for every coffee purchase, and once it's filled (6 punches), you can get your 7th coffee free! Their food and snack selection is pretty nice as well-- muffins, baklava, different kinds of cookies, croissants (with the option to have it made into a sandwich with cheese or cheese and meat!), spinach pie, and the occasional cake. Always something to try and it's all very yummy~ There is free wifi, which is great. Just ask whoever is working for the password and you're good to go. It's a great place to get some work done if that's your thing. The music that plays is always something different but always is pleasant to listen to- It's not too loud, so you can hear yourself think or who you're speaking with, but it's loud enough for pleasant background noise. I could go on but this review is long enough already~ I definitely recommend coming here if you haven't already! There's this community feeling you get with everyone (the regulars help with that~), and overall it's just a great, cozy, friendly place to come and relax, hang out, and socialize. This place is great. Its in downtown Clawson. + street and lot parking . + great coffee and tea selection. Theres wifi, outdoor and indoor seating. Indoors is approx 70 degrees, so you can actually spend some time there, feel comfortable and not die of frigid temps, especially if you are going to be there a while. NO one rushed me while i was there. I assume it can definitely get loud, but i came at downtime. They have the standard coffee flavor varieties-- havent tried yet but the basic mochas, frappes, lattes, flavor shots etc. I got the orange pekoe tea which was really good. Bathroom is clean. good variety and parking. Basic is beautiful. I will be back. read more

I loved this small coffee shop. It's in a great location in downtown Clawson. It serves great tasting coffee and the barista was friendly. What more do you need? The wifi speed was fine. Nothing super fast but it wasn't super slow either. There is the usual array of mixed seating inside. The space is fairly small so it may get crowded, I don't know. It wasn't when I stopped in. I came here based on the 5 star reviews on google and was VERY disappointed. I couldn't believe it was the same place. The place is filthy. The baseboards have visible gunk caked on them. The fake flowers have clumps of dust. Lamps and decor are falling over the place. The atmosphere resembles a dirty abandoned college apartment. There is no apparent upkeep. Clawson has been without a coffee shop for a long time. Kahve fills a definite need. Very cool tin ceiling. Has a kind of cool funky vibe. I have seen people of all ages in there, including families with kids. Everyone seems comfortable including laptop users. Street parking can be problematic; however, lots of spaces in back. They make good coffee plus if you're hungry there is food. This place definitely warrants a visit. read more
