I came here based on the 5 star reviews on google and was VERY disappointed. I couldn't believe it was the same place. The place is filthy. The baseboards have visible gunk caked on them. The fake flowers have clumps of dust. Lamps and decor are falling over the place. The atmosphere resembles a dirty abandoned college apartment. There is no apparent upkeep. I ordered coffee and baklava. Coffee was fine but baklava was very doughy and missing all the crispy layers... usually when I give a place a low rating it's because of a bad experience but this time, it's just because it's an overall disappointing plac read more

A genuine coffee shop that's not a chain and wants to provide a good space to relax and meet in Clawson. They cover the coffee gamete pretty well with everything from lattes, americano, and Turkish coffee. Space has free internet, solid reading material and is pleasant. Bakery selection always has a little treat or more to fulfill your sweet tooth. I hope this place stays, because Clawson need a space needed this. read more

Kahve Cafe - Sunday morning coffee in the sunshine - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Clawson, Michigan

This place is great. The atmosphere is chill and comfortable. They are happy to have you in for a cup of coffee and work, relax, read etc... The coffee is great. The mocha's are just the way I like them, perfect hint of chocolate, not too sweet, and great coffee. Not hot chocolate like starbucks or garbage flavored like Bigby. To top it off, the owner is super nice and very personable. If youre from Clawson or the surrounding area, this is the type of place we have to support. read more

The drinks were okay but the atmosphere was horrible for studying. They were blasting pop and EDM type music. Definitely not the type of music that would allow you to focus. read more

I really like this place. It's quaint and not overly crowded. They have free wifi and it's solid. The baristas are very friendly and knowledgable. They have a nice selection of hot and cold beverages and desserts. I enjoy sitting outside on a nice day and doing some work while people watching. read more

Great coffee and comfortable atmosphere. Menu is a bit hard to read, but they can generally make any type of coffee drink. You will pay a tad more then going to a chain, but it's worth it. Staff are always welcoming. Covid policies in place. read more

It has amazing coffee at affordable prices and the staff is super friendly. Usually I come here on sundays and spend hours with my best friend. read more

Great coffee and atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious treats from around the world!

Just dropped in for a quick cup o drip to go, they serve from vacuum pots . It seems like a chill place to hang out. Coffee was good but I was hoping for a little better quality, not sure if it was the blend or what..Id give it another try if i was in the area i guess. read more

Take a trip with your java addiction to a land of delightfully deliciously decadent divine cup of goodness. I went in for a real coffee fix, you know when you're the type that isn't into frappafluffy add three thousand calories and syrup but give me a real cup of joe? I left impressed. Forgive me I'm struggling with remembering its name, pretty sure the Vietnamese coffee or Venezuelan??.. I am sure it was one of them. A pour over far roast with sweet undertones and steamed condensed milk added. Oh my! Just the right creamy for cutting the dark rich roast. The young woman who was the barista and cashier that day was very helpful in helping me discover what I wanted. I'm looking forward to going back! read more

Fun and yummy options from basic iced coffee to "coffee from around the world." The barista is sweet, and there is a nice selection of treats and desserts that go perfectly with your coffee! read more

Great Service with friendly staff. Baked goods and the the selection of coffees are terrific

It's a good coffee shop with a good selection and you can use the space to work too. 4 stars because it doesn't allow dogs - I mean this is something that seems to be very common in Detroit and I hope it can change soon because many other places in the world have proven that having dogs in public spaces is not a big deal! You guys might even like it ;) read more

Great ambiance, very comfortable having coffee and great conversation with my son. The staff is very friendly, just dont flush your cell phone in their toilet. read more

This is a great local spot. The owner is super nice every time I go in, and the coffee is great.. although sometimes a little heavy on the syrup. Maybe ask them to lighten up but other than that great! read more

They're all so sweet in here, this is a small town gem. I love that they have a fun mix of middle eastern and Mexican beverages, and they'll explain any ingredients or recipes you're not sure of. Kahve is definitely worth the mornin read more

One of my favorite downtown Clawson spots. Friendly staff. Great location. Cozy atmosphere.

This place is great. Nothing fancy, but exactly what you want out of a neighborhood coffee shop. Staff are always very friendly and seem to take pride in their business. I like that they have some board games, but it is usually quiet enough to read or study as well. More food options would be nice, but I do like the fact that they have mini spanakopita and pastries for when you just want something small. Beverage wise, I would recommend the Mexican hot chocolate with a shot of espresso. Not on the menu that way, but an employee suggested it when I was unsure of which to order and it was delicious. Prices are also very reasonable. read more

Great little place in Clawson! Fun variety of coffee and other hot drinks from around the world, cool art on the walls, very friendly staff. The place has a community-oriented feel to it and appears to be family run/owned. I usually order the Americano, which is good, but I look forward to working my way through the "Around the World" drink menu! read more

We stopped by this place right after having Noble Fish sushi. It is located within walking distance of Noble. It is a cute little shop that features a variety of different coffee (Turkish, Mexican, etc), they also have some pasties, and food items that you may purchase. You may also request almond milk for a .50 cent up charge. They have nice seating areas both inside (couch) and outside. The lady helping us on our visit was sweet. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! The owner and staff our so nice. I love everything at Kahve! Great prices and great quality coffee! Everybody this a must place to get coffee in downtown Clawson! read more

The staff is always friendly and my lattes are always delicious!! Try the cafe caramel :)

Drip coffee was meh. Decaf pour-over was made from preground coffee and tasted like it came from a diner. I won't be coming back.

I like that this place has a bunch of different style coffees. I tried their Turkish coffee and I would say it was good but had way too many grounds on the bottom compared to others I have tried. Would come back to try other styles, and liked the overall atmosphere if you're looking for a place to study/hang out. read more

I have being there a couple of times. I think it's great that they have good coffee and also the treats are delicious. I tried a gluten free brownie and it was awesome. The owner was really nice and the rest of the staff too. read more

This place opens later than expected for a coffee place. It's coffee is ok and customer service was moderate. They didn't know quite how to recommend a drink for a non-coffee drinker (steamers, teas, etc) when a group of us arrived to socialize over coffee. There was no one in there and we felt rushed. Maybe it was just bad timing. I would go back but I haven't gone out of my way to visit again. read more

I stop here every morning for coffee! If you want coffee better than Starbucks I highly recommend Kahve! All employees are friendly and have a great attitude and the owner is the sweetest. I promise you will not be disappointed! read more

Very cute place with a great selection of different beverages and snacks. Perfect sidewalk patio and a really nice inside. The barista was so kind and recognized me from where I work, so it's nice to know that Clawson businesses attend each other's stores. Also they have Turkish coffee and lavender lemonade! read more

This place is so comfy and perfect for meeting up with a friend. The baristas are friendly and love to experiment with new drinks if you let them. I would highly recommend their dirty Chai!! read more

A cool spot in downtown Clawson. Any local place beats Starbucks on principle. I got a latte during my visit which was good but lacked espresso (it tasted more like steamed milk and less coffee flavor). read more

Tried out Kahve Coffee today for a girls shower meeting. Loved it!! Nice, calming atmosphere, coffees were delicious (hot & iced) and enjoyed a pistachio pastry too. Very friendly staff and nice little patio outside to enjoy some sunshine. Definitely recommend ....keep the small local business in business. Free Wifi too read more

Good coffee but for studying, the place is too dark and too loud on a Sunday morning.

Prices were comparable to Starbucks but it's nice to pay that to a small business in my community versus a big chain. My husband was ver pleased since they have fresh juicing. My frappe was delicious. They always have little spots for kids which is great. Makes me want to return with my kids and they can try the frozen hot chocolate. read more

Cute shop and decor, but at the end of the day this is about the coffee. I asked for a pour over coffee. The barista filled up the beans then just dumped a bunch of hot water over it. Not only is that a bad pour over, it was super watery and not good at all. Maybe their other items are OK, but if you can't do a simple coffee on your menu right, you kind of lose the right to be called a cafe to me. read more

I came here on a Saturday afternoon, had tea and read for a couple of hours at the window countertop. It's in a good downtown location and parking is convenient (large lot behind the shops), but this place is lackluster and doesn't have any character or personality. There was mismatched decor, oldies 60-70's music, and generic baked goods pulled from a box. I'm not sure what kind of vibe or crowd it's trying to draw in. It seems that the menu has a focus on Middle Eastern drinks/foods. They offered turkish coffee and baklava, etc. There's free wifi and the woman that was working there was very nice, but it's definitely not my first coffee shop choice. read more

Cute little coffee spot. I love the Mexican hot chocolate. Good cup of coffee and the baristas have always been friendly and helpful.

Delicious coffee and the pastries look yummy (although I didn't try any). Prices comparable to Starbucks. A few tables with hard chairs for sitting inside in a cozy environment, but the best is sitting on a patio table outside on a nice day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

I remember having a bad day and wanting some coffee. This popped up into my suggestions and I couldn't of been more happy! The coffee was good and the staff was friendly! Enjoyed the environment of it all. I talked to the barista for a while and she was so wholesome! Definitely recommend :) read more

A bit pricy but it's a small town business. I have been there multiple times and the staff is always so friendly and nice. The coffee and service is great. I recommend the peanut butter latte if they have the ingredients in stock. read more
