Great to get a quick quote, low prices on new system installs, and maintenance. I have had both my upstairs and downstairs systems replaced by HQ AC & Heating. They do superb work. They are quick to answer any maintenance issues as well. read more

They did a great job but doubled the quote once the job was completed without communication.

I highly recommend this team. Our AC stopped working and they responded within 10 minutes which is amazing! They were at our home within an hour and went above and beyond once they found the issue. We will definitely keep them in our contacts and send referrals their way. We are truly grateful for their prompt response! read more

Very quick response time and Oscar was able to come to my house within the hour. Found the issue right away and fixed my AC in 15 minutes at a reasonable price. Will definitely call again if something ever goes wrong! read more

No doubt a well deserved 5 stat rating! Professional work, quick to respond to text and calls, very knowledgeable, punctual, honest, keeps their work area clean and reasonably priced. I've contacted 3 other companies for the same job and they were pale in comparison. I will certainly contact them again for any and all future HVAC needs. read more

So I had a Nest given to me for over a year and decided to install it. Idid one of these before on the 1st floor and it was easy, at least from what I remembered. Anyway, I proceeded to kill the power to the ac unit from the breaker not realizing that there is a constant power to it in the attic. I must've shorted something because the Nest would not come on. I spent the entire evening and well into the morning trying to find out what the issue was. I gave up and contacted OScar. He replied quickly and got me scheduled within 2 hours. He came by, tested the voltage and quickly figured it was a fuse in the attic. Took literally 5 minutes. Now I got two Nest in the house and the geek in me is thrilled. Oscar also took a look at my Freon levels and told me I was low but not to panic yet. I'll be scheduling him soon for this. read more

I had Oscar come out and replace an AC unit. He showed up the same day for an estimate and was the most affordable of the quotes I received. He was punctual and very courteous and kept me informed throughout the process. Ive been very satisfied with the work that he has performed. I will use his services again. read more

We called due to an overflow of the emergency drain pan. We explained our issue over the phone, and he gave us a quote before coming out. We called at 9:30 am and he was here by 10:15 am! Oscar was very friendly and polite. He fixed the issue promptly and explained/showed the whole process to my husband while making sure he understood what he was doing. He had some recommendations for our ac, but never pushed any additional services on us. When he was finished, he cleaned up any mess that he had made (if any at all). His services were much much cheaper than other companies we've used in the past. We definitely recommend his service to anyone who needs a trustworthy and honest ac repairman. He will be our go-to ac repairman from now on! read more

Oscar was responsive and was able to charge my system at a reasonable price. He mentioned that I should think about replacing my unit (mine still uses R22) but was not pushy, and he topped off the system as requested. I will call on Oscar the next time I need HVAC service. read more

The guys came out within a 4 hr notice diagnosed me AC issue and repaired it. I highly recommend HQ !

Great service and reasonable price! Our AC was done due to low refrigerant. Oscar responded our message right away and his quote is very good. He came the next day and fixed our both units. He also gave us professional advice on maintaining the AC. He is definitely the go-to person for AC service! read more

I was referred to Oscar with HQ Air Conditioning for an issue with my zoned downstairs Rheem AC unit. I could not be happier with his service, guys like Oscar are EXACTLY why I love supporting smaller local businesses over the big names. I called around 9:15am, and by noon Oscar had been out to our place in Fulshear, troubleshot the issue, and ensured everything was operating properly again. He carefully explained what had happened and what my options were in the future if our homebuilder's cost-saving installation job and system design caused further problems. BUT, he didn't hit me with the huge expensive "solution" right off the bat. He provided a tiered approach to solving the problem - let's start by trying the inexpensive and less complicated fix today, and take it from there. That's refreshing, isn't it?! I have had simple AC issues in the past where the "big name" company's first suggestion was to replace the whole unit -- that's now how HQ does business at all. After our main issue was resolved, Oscar also let us know he noticed that the "big name" AC company that had been out this spring to do annual service hadn't properly cleaned the condensers outside and they were filthy. We had him clean those up, and install a couple of kill switches on the units in the attic, which of course the homebuilder had skimped on too. Give Oscar a call, he's a great guy and you won't be sorry! read more

Our A/C was making strange noises at 9pm at night - Oscar came out within an hour and fixed our air and educated us on what caused the issue; he was extremely courteous and polite, wore show covers in my house and made sure everything was reviewed before he left. We will absolutely be calling him again for any future issues! read more

Met with Oscar today, have to say really great guy, very professional and knowledgeable on his craft.I asked a good bit of questions and he was able to answer them all. prices were not expensive as compared to other A/C companies. I was very pleased with his work, also pointed out other things I need to get done, and expansion I need for other areas in my house. Highly recommend Oscar to anyone who needs A/C Work. read more

Have an AC not working and messaged to see when they could come out. Oscar made it out within a few hours and he was amazing! So kind and polite. Verified what we thought was the issue and told us where to order the part (as we are already remodeling most of the house and stated we could install ourselves.) and the best place for price. I highly recommend Oscar! Not only was the service phenomenal, expeditious but also the least expensive I found! read more

"Oscar and his worker did a great job, they were able to get my AC unit back up and running again with such short notice as well. Plus we did not have to break the bank! Very professional and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends! " read more

Oscar responded quickly and was able to come out and take a look at my system the same day. After having the entire HVAC system examined by two other HVAC companies, I was told that I needed to replace the entire outside unit, which would have cost thousands of dollars. Oscar was able to correctly identify the problem (bad breaker outside) and save me a ton of money. He will my first call from now on! read more

Oscar is AMAZING!. Had a condensate overflow issue and called around lunch time. He arrived earlier than promised that afternoon and spent the next 4 hours getting my 20 year old HVAC system whipped into shape. Oscar is a knowledgeable craftsman. He knows his business. He found and pointed out 2 major potential problems on my big, 5 ton downstairs unit. He provided me with short and long term solutions. Oscar is respectful of my house and wood floors. He wore coverall booties while in the house and went the extra mile to make sure the loose, blown i insulation that fell out of the attic was cleaned up. Oscar is "customer satisfaction" oriented. Its not right til it's right and both he and the owner are both satisfied. I can't say enough good about this hard working young man. I've got my PERMANENT HVAC technician from here on out. You may find cheaper(I doubt it) but you will never find a better, more trustworthy serviceman to come into your home and perform HVAC service. read more

These guys are LIFESAVERS! I came home on a Friday afternoon to a very hot home. Called these guys up and by dinner my home was cool! Great and reliable service! read more

I had my AC go out at 9PM in the Houston heat. Oscar came over and was very personable and helped explain what went wrong and we had cold air blowing within an hour of him coming. I am so thankful that he came. Air conditioning is never a cheap repair, so I was not too shocked at the price of replacing the capacitor. read more

I'm glad I called Oscar. He came out the same day. He fixed my air conditioner within an hour. He added freon, cleaned the unit, triple checked the temperature throughout the house, checked my attic, etc. he's very thorough and the nicest person. I will be calling him to look at my heater winter time. read more

Oscar came on time very professional. Just needed a tuneup but come to find out homeowners prior to us just let the system run without maintenance. He replaced all the parts that he needed to keep us going through this summer, but did recommend a new system overhaul (13 year System) overall great experience always like using smaller businesses customer service is always A+!!!! read more

Oscar is the person I always call for any of my AC and heating issues. He does good quality work and he tries to work with me to be available during the hours I am home. I think his prices are fair considering how good he is at his job, and how seriously he takes each project. I would recommend him to anyone who needs anything from regular maintenance to a full system replacement. He has done recharge of the refrigerant in two of my systems and he will advise you well even if it does not get him business. I really appreciate that I can count on Oscar for these things, especially during the summer. read more

The service we received from HQ Air Conditioning was professional through and through. Oscar responded to my message almost immediately and was able to come out and repair our A/C as soon as possible. He also gave a lot of helpful tips! Thank you. read more

Our air conditioning stopped working just hours before we needed to head to the airport. Our regular technician couldn't get to our house in time so I started calling 5 stars places on Yelp. One of those companies referred me to Oscar who immediately headed to our house. Though we were desperate to get our A/C fixed before we left (we have pets), I admit that I was somewhat skeptical of someone new. However, I was pleasantly surprised at Oscar's professionalism. He quickly made the repair for a reasonable service fee. He also gave recommendations on other things we should consider for future repairs. He wasn't pushy at all and respected that we already have another repairman who comes to our house. That being said, I won't hesitate to call Oscar in the future. What a relief I felt after Oscar fixed our A/C in time for us to make our flight. read more

Oscar's attention to detail and the way he explains how the ac/heat unit works was very reassuring. He is very professional and courteous, it is clear he has his business because he enjoys it and wants to please his customers. Oscar and HQ replaced my entire system and I could not be more pleased with the result. I highly recommend using HQ for all your heating and ac needs, you will be completely satisfied with their service. read more

Excellent service!!! I'm so glad to have found HQ. Oscar responded quickly to my message, agreed to come within a few hours, arrived on time, and worked so efficiently to get our central AC unit working again within the hour. He also provides us with ample details of what he does, the current condition of our unit, and exactly what we need to keep an eye out for in the future. He charges a fair price, and most importantly he cares about his customers. I strongly recommend him! read more

I called Oscar on a Saturday to to check out my non-working A/C system. He found the blower motor had failed. The parts supply houses are closed on Saturdays, so he said he could come back with the new motor Monday afternoon. He called me Monday morning and said he could be there earlier than planned. He showed up at 10:30 am and had us cooling before noon. Oscar is polite and courteous and gets the job done right ... He even corrected some things that the original installer had done shabbily. read more

Our air conditioning stopped working the day my mother in law was arriving for a two week visit. Our house is only 3 years old so I had no idea who to trust with our air conditioner. I called Oscar and he came out that morning. He diagnosed the issue, offered a very fair price for repair, ordered and picked up the parts and returned an hour later to fix the problem. Within 3 hours our air conditioner was working again! Oscar was very knowledgeable, friendly and considerate of our home. I will definitely be calling him again for a/c tune ups and repairs!! read more

I called HQ Air Conditioning And Heating, expecting to get an appointment in a day or so as it was 5 PM already. They set up an appointment immediately, and referred me to Oscar Carbajal, who showed up as soon as he could on that same day, grossly exceeding my expectations. He fixed my problem, and gave me helpful suggestions on other things to install (overflow gauges for one; I'd already had my pan overfill before). When Oscar came back to install the overflow gauges, he showed up on time during rush hour traffic. I'd highly recommend Oscar and HQ Air Conditioning and Heating! read more
