Howoo blows it out of the water compared to some pricier and more popular similar restaurants nearby. I highly recommend trying this place! We got the smallest beef package and it was more than enough food for 2 people. We were impressed with the quality of the meat and quality of the banchan. Our server was attentive to the pace we were eating at and allowed us to enjoy our food continuously. Everyone was respectful, mindful, and kind. The ambiance is a darker more intimate feeling restaurant. We sat at the counter which I think is perfect for a party of 2.

Wow wow - absolutely stunning. Whoever designed the interior needs a raise. The entrance is lowkey, dim, and unassuming which screams quiet luxury. Once you enter the dining area - behold the high ceilings. I came here for a weekend lunch with family and I love that the tables are spacious and not on top of each other which gave us a sense of privacy even though there were other parties near us. We got the the Elite Lunch Package for 4 and our waiter cooked the meat to medium rare perfection. I only wish there were more variety in the banchan and that the kimchi was less sweet, but all were still tasty. I didn't care for the cold noodles and the spicy is not spicy at all. It kind of felt like just a filler item so you aren't hungry after the meal. This is definitely not your every day meal but perfect for special occasions.

Private room upstairs is quite nice to have your own space and service. Package price is a bit steep. Drink menu is also different from downstairs which has less cocktail choice.

My top kbbq spot in NYC right now. The meat was so tender and the marinated beef was super flavorful. The prime package for two had a lot of food for two people as well. Came with egg soufflé too which is not pictured here.

Make sure to reserve ahead of time. If you're more than 6 people, they will put you in a private room upstairs. We had 7 people share the 6 people elite menu and we were all full by the end of the meal. We got two pear salads as appetizers. The sides were delicious and you can add more of them. Meat quality was top tier. The mustard for the cold noodle is extremely spicy, so don't add too much. You get free matcha ice cream dessert at the end of the meal. Expect to spend ~100/person with the sets.

Really elevated Korean bbq, enjoyed the prime package along with the delicious ban Chan , egg souflee. All highest quality ingredients and my always favorite the cold noodles- mul naengmyeon they had with green tea noodles. Enjoyed the mocktail sweet potato and the matcha soft serve! Staff was friendly, not too attentive as all the guests received their drinks however my sweet potato mocktail took longer than I would have thought - waited at least 20 min or longer. It is a beautiful space and we stopped downstairs too at the bar. Overall will be back for special occasion cause it is very pricey.

Side dishes were all actually pretty decent especially the japchae which is usually not a dish I feel is anything that special but was very good and flavorful here Strawberry cocktail - kinda watery 1.5/5 Egg soufflé - it's much thicker and eggier here. I personally liked it but my fiance thought a little too eggy 3/5 Cold noodle spicy - not very memorable 2.5/5 Prime package - everything was pretty good but also slightly chewier than I would want it to be and didn't taste any significantly different than other places that serve these type of cuts 3.25/5 Boseong green tea - not too flavorful and a little on the grainier side 1.75/5

If you want quality KBBQ and don't mind paying a little extra for it, this is a great spot. We went for the premium package for 4 people. It was more than enough food. It was nice to have someone else cooking for you and it was made perfectly. The meat melted in your mouth. The sauces and sides were great. I loved the tofu, the cold noodles weren't my thing but our group liked it. The egg souffle was yummy. They also have some good cocktails. The matcha soft serve at the end was a perfect way to finish the meal. It's well ventilated and I did not come out smelling like beef which is always a plus but they do have a coat check available if needed. Definitely make reservations and get there early or stay after to check out their cocktail bar downstairs.

Howoo Korean BBQ was such a great experience. The space is massive and surprisingly elegant for a Korean BBQ spot. I was a little worried at first since there aren't visible overhead chimneys above the grills, I fully expected to leave smelling like BBQ for the rest of the day. But they have a super sophisticated ventilation system, and you genuinely can't tell at all. They offer set packages, which might be slightly pricier than other places, but still very reasonable considering the quality and the amount of meat and sides you get. They also vary in price wether you want to get fancier cuts of meat. Personally, we got the basic one and it was top notch! We were a table of 6 and got seated in a more reserved area. We also got there early, so the staff was incredibly attentive and it almost felt like a VIP experience. The service was impeccable, they cook for you and guide you through which cuts go best with which sauces. Overall the food was amazing, and we left completely stuffed and very happy. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Howoo is great. The meat cuts are quality but the standout for me was the cold noodles. That paired with the galbi cut was one of my favorite bites of the year. Great vibes would recommend

Our server S was incredibly meticulous, thoughtful, and helpful. She was supporting three other tables as well as our own. She cooked each set of meat perfectly. None of the meats were overcooked or burnt. The food was incredible as always! The duo elite package is the way to go! Love the space and layout of the restaurant.

Didn't have a reservation my first visit but only had to wait a few minutes for a table since it was early; the restaurant started filling up soon after we got there and the place is huge. I've been to a lot of expensive Korean bbq restaurants and this one is in my top 2. We ordered the Duo Elite package and two drinks. My highball was surprisingly strong which I liked. A lot of different servers came to bring sparkling water, banchan, steamed egg. We didn't have lunch so we were starving and I was so full at the end... even L was stuffed and he can eat a lot... Everyone who brought items to the table explained what it was and our water glasses were always filled. As soon as we finished a banchan dish, it was refilled. We must've gotten japchae 3x. All the meat was cooked perfectly. I really liked my bite of filet mignon which I normally don't care for but this was so juicy. I only used the fresh wasabi on some of the meats, I enjoyed them even without any seasoning. Everything was cooked so well. We made lettuce wraps with the marinated meats which we usually don't bother with. The A5 was so soft and yummy but too rich for me. I loved the matcha ice cream. Service was excellent. We actually went again, less than a week later to try the duo prime package. This time I had a reservation for a late Fri night. No wait but the place was full and a bit loud compared to our first visit. This time we added the shrimp pancake and kimchi stew. I also ordered a couple of highballs and a strawberry cocktail. We were so full, we took some of the meat home. The shrimp pancake is pricey but it was tasted great. Crispy on the outside. Shrimps were really tiny..more like a veggie pancake but good flavor. Kimchi stew was just okay, tofu was good...thick and dense like cheese. I enjoyed the prime package more since Wagyu is too fattening and my body can't handle rich foods. The meats were cooked perfectly both times. Delicious...was so stuffed but I had to finish my matcha ice cream. So good.... There's always someone checking to see if we needed something. I got still water since L drinks sparkling. Great food and service.

Do not get the kimchi martini - I REPEAT DO NOT GET THE WHITE KIMCHI MARTINI! Otherwise, the food was really really good and the meat was perfect. Honestly, my favorite part was the cold buckwheat noodles and the fermented soy bean soup. I practically licked the bowls clean. In addition, the rice was super unique - there were various grains and beans within which gave it a very nutty and savory, yet sweet taste. The place is super chic, service was good too! Would return.

Dipping sauce for your meats. (Wasabi salt was my fave)

The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed.
