My refrigerator finally quit on me, so I needed to buy a new one. I went to various appliance stores looking for the ideal refrigerator. I found the one I was Looking for, but stores like Home Depot would say I would get it delivered in two weekss, Best Buy said I would it get in March, and Sears closed down. I was about give up, and I thought I should check out Howard's Appliance TV in Covina. I spoke to Anthony the Salesperson from Howard's, and he told me he had my refrigerator in stock, and he can get it delivered on my desire date. I couldn't believe it, I don't have to wait two weeks or until March. This is great news. Not only did they have my refrigerator in stock, but the customer service was on point. Howard's has the best price for the same model sold at home depot. They are at least $200 less! Today we called Bryan to return the item coz it is bad. He allowed us to. So glad my wife's family have been loyal Howard's customers for decades & now I see why. Can't think of a worse time to have to order major appliances, but believe me, Howard's delivery times were better than anywhere else, and their customer service has been top-notch throughout! When our new refrigerator (Howard's was also the only retailer that could even find the model we wanted) was delayed, Store Manager Brian arranged for a loaner and saved us another couple hundred dollars' in frozen food! This store Covina ca is by far the worst for customer service or satisfaction. I purchased several appliances and each appliance I received, either damaged or not working right. The one appliance that I do really need I still have not received. My bill was over 10,000.00 dollars which as been paid off. No niece have they said let me refund you your money or you don't have to pay until you receive all your appliances. Now that Howard's has there money form you they don't care about the customer except to see if you want to buy warranty service for stuff I don't have. No once do they call and say let me find you another appliance that you can get it soon. Instead they don't even return your calls. Howard's is over price and the service is bad because they know that there are no more other appliances store to compete against. Good luck but would find someone else for your appliance purchase. Howard's looks like manipulates customer rating online. Because, our experience with Howards Covina (Citrus ave) branch was awful. The sales/manager Anthony shows off as if the customers are at his mercy. We have purchased an item on July 4th sale. He made sure the item gets delayed in shipping, avoided our phone calls & denied receiving them, finally, forced us to take the time from our busy schedule to show up at the store, only to cancel our order, after 2 months of waiting. Now, we lost the July 4th price of the item & our valuable time. When we tried to call the so-called toll free number to track out item, none of the reps had any clue about our order number, or when it was arriving. In person, Anthony just threw a reluctant apology and gave us only one option: "if you want to cancel, you cancel..." other than waiting around yet again, and getting bounced around by his 'customer service' team. He blatantly lied that he has never received our calls, where as we have clearly talked to his associates at the store 2wice & they said he'd get back to us. We strongly discourage any customers to visit this store & give this branch any undserved business. If you want to keep your time, money & energies, avoid this manager & store all together. We are wondering why & how the heck this kind of performance is tolerated by Howards - if it's any other company, he'd have been kicked out by now. read more

My parents got my wife and I a new fridge for our new condo, which was "traditional depth" and it blocked one of our drawers from pulling out. We would like to thank Mike Collins for such a great customer experience. He was professional, courteous, patient, helpful and personable. Earlier we had horrendous experience with a competitor's installators and their supervisors. After paying all fees for a refrigerator we were surprised when they refused to install the refrigerator because we supposedly did not have the correct apparatus they required for hook up. We did have one but they were unfamiliar with it. While at Howard's we related this experience and how we felt no reasonable options were presented to us by the installers. Mike related that the requirements that were related to us are used by Howard's installers and others but options were possible because we had a valve hookup. We cancelled previous purchase from competitor. The refrigerator was delivered today after we bought it yesterday without incident. Everything went smoothly with hook up of ice/water values. Installers were courteous and helpful. We thank everyone again. We will be shopping at Howard's in the future. read more

Our 3 year old Samsung french door refrigerator was not cooling anymore. It would cost about $500 to get it fix and the repair man stated there was no guarantee that it will not break again. He recommended it's wiser to purchase a new refrigerator. I looked online, Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot, etc and most units are backordered or out of stock.
