We were in the middle of a renovation when it came time to install our built-in dishwasher. I found on online at Howards that was in stock and would be ready in a few days. When I didn't hear back about it after the weekend I made a call to CS and they directed me to the store. Andrew took my cell and explained that the one I purchased was back ordered and wouldn't be in for about six weeks, and my contractor was almost done. I explained the situation and what my budget was, and I can said I'd take a scratch and ding if I had to. Due to Covid anything coming from overseas is delayed. We ran into the same thing with cabinets. Anyway, after a few minutes he found the same dishwasher in a different finish, and he completed the purchase of the difference in price. I had it in a few days. I shopped at the Howards in La Habra for years when I lived nearby in Brea, and the customer service and care continues here at the Covina store. Highly recommend. I do suggest if you can, go shop in person as the dishwasher is a bit smaller than the full sized portable it replaced. It's not a deal breaker though. read more

I had originally ordered a fridge from some where else, which apparently was a huge mistake because my fridge never showed up on time even though it was ordered weeks prior. I called the store to talk to my sales rep they said he was busy so I asked for him to call me back. No call back so I keep calling the store for 3 days after that and left multiple messages and still no call back. Customer service was nonexistent. The store I bought my refrigerator was at Howard's of Covina and my sales rep was Anthony also the other person that I spoke to was Pat that promised me they will call me back the next day witch never happened. A+++ Concierge Service from Carlos! I was extremely impressed by the service and professionalism of this company. I called the store at around 6:30pm and to my surprise, carlos picked up the phone and greeted me warmly. I didn't have to be jumping hoops to get to an actual person. He listened to my needs and made the process SO easy and smooth. I was able to purchase my washer & dryer unit within 20 mins and got it cheaper than Home Depot & Best Buy! Carlos set up my delivery appointment for the weekend and texted me to follow up on the day of delivery and was on top of any questions that I may have. Arturo was super nice and friendly upon delivery and setting up my unit as well. I couldn't be more happy with the whole experience and feel protected with my purchase moving forward. I had bought a stove a fridge a washer and dryer at this location at first the rep took care of a great sale but the product is awfull after a few weeks of purchase and cooking on my Frigidaire stove was having some faiding on the oven top letters the letters started disappearing to where there was nothing there to pic a option on how to choose a temperature.....I contacted Howard's they sent a replacement which I had to install after I installed it the product started to fade again till it was gone again this is a awful product I have complained to manager and they said they would send another replacement wich I think is not good because I'm gonna continue to have this issue ..so now the manager at the store claims they sent me replacements again wich I never received it's been over one month going on 2 still haven't got anything I just called her she told me they shipped it but to a different address I was like wtf I sat down with her and updated my info and she still claims it did not get processed because it was shipped somewhere else I told her how can this happend I watched you place the order now she claims to have computer froze so she has no info she said she will call me back it's been almost to months that we can't use our oven because the option letters are gone all of there product there have the same letters on them don't buy it because u will be Experiencing this issue I walked around the store and noticed all of their stove tops have the letters painted they're not engraved paid a lot of money for My stove I shouldn't have to be going through this read more

I was in need of a washer & dryer to satisfy my wife's housekeeping needs so after shopping at outlets, I decided to try Howard's because they promised to make the whole purchase a positive experience which ment delivery, & installation all together being I couldn't find that anywhere else. All the promises made by the sales team became false after the delivery started, the excuses did too on the installation, I'am 70 yrs old and unable to do it, that's why I bought the whole package, it ended in delivery team leaving my items disconnected with no concerns beyond that. Needles to say I went another week without clean clothes until I found a professional to help me out. Worst Experience Ever!....Where should I start...I went in on Nov. 30th to purchase a washer & dryer. I was greeted by Edward, he gave me enough time to shop around and finally decided on which pair I will purchase. Everything was going smooth. He mentioned the items where not in stock so I will not be receiving them the next day delivery, however, I will be receiving them in one week. He even provided the delivery date. No problem...what's a week. He promise he will call a few days prior to confirm everything was on schedule. He repeated himself several times. I signed the contract and away we go. It took 3 weeks to receive my washer and NO DRYER. Yes, it's been over a month and I have yet to receive my dryer. Their reason, "it's backed ordered and it has not been delivered to our warehouse" I have to wash my clothes and go to the laundromat to dry. After I purchased a washer and dryer over a month ago! The thing that really did it for me was that Edward did not have the courtesy to even give me a phone call not even one, regarding the delay on the items. I called to speak to him several times and it seemed that he was always off that day or just not available. I read all these great reviews about him unfortunately that is not the experience i received. I honestly felt he just wanted to make the sale. Andrew on the other hand has picked up the slack that Edward left behind. He has been keeping me up to date on the status on the delivery and soon I should be receiving my dryer, hopefully. My microwave blew out on Christmas day '2017, so I started my research for a replacement; @ Home Depot, Lowes, and then I remembered there was a new Howard's just past downtown Covina! In the past I always purchased from Howard's San Gabriel & Upland.! Now, if that's not enough, lend me your ear for a few: As I entered the Covina store 6:30 pm one evening (not knowing closing was @ 7pm), there were 2 male employees who welcomed me & offered me assistance, I declined by telling them "I was just looking, comparing prices & will purchase later". I was then told by Anthony, to feel free to browse, any questions he'll be glad to help. Now keep in mind, it's almost closing time, they've been informed I was NOT purchasing, that night, and as I went about opening/closing microwave doors & asking many questions, Anthony, answered all my questions, never rushed me, no pressures whatsoever (even though it's now 5 mins past closing) !!! This Anthony Ebert is truly one-of-a-kind! Great personality, very knowledgeable, extremely patient, & a no-pressure salesperson! Anthony makes your shopping experience a breeze, you'll never find that kind of service from Home Depot or Lowe's. I came back 1 week later, as promised, spoked with Anthony...who was very thorough & helpful in locating exactly what I wanted; ..and YES! I did purchase a microwave, one that had more updated features and for a fantastic (lower)sale price! Also, I asked Anthony about washer/dryer sets, he explained the details of several brands & mentioned they'll be on sale in March, interest free credit plan available for 12-24 months and yes, they'll even price-match for exact same item, if price is lower! Howard's is a great place to shop as they are very friendly there, very organized making it simple to shop. They do price match but they already have lowest prices available. The only downfall is the amount of items on display as they are limited to the amount of items on the floor only do to real estate. They don't require you to open up any memberships and/or credit cards to get discounts which is really good. I would definitely shop here again for future appliances. read more

Great results at Covina store thanks to store manager Brian. In Sept. we bought a fridge. A few weeks later it started dying--all ice in ice maker melted, fresh food section wasn't as cold as it should be and freezer stopped freezing. Within less than 6 weeks we had lost all food. We made Brian aware before it actually quit and a technician confirmed a manufacturing defect. Brian is getting us a new replacementunit and got us a loaner fridge untill the new one gets here. We moved 60 miles away from Covina, but we went back just to see Anthony, who is truly a great guy. Initially went to Howard's before we moved, way back in May of last year, knowing we would need a kitchen full of appliances for our remodel. He was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and no pressure to buy. He left such a good impression on us, we traveled back to Covina this February to finally order and purchase. Anthony remembered us! He checked what was available, comparing to lowest prices at other stores to guarantee the best price. As remodeling goes, we were not sure when we would be ready for delivery.
