I'm not sure if this place is still in "Soft Opening" but that's what the waitlist said when we came in. TLDR low quality for $40 per person, and barely any meats to choose from. I'd go to Happy Lamb for hotpot instead, and a specific AYCE kbbq for more selection and better meats. Pros: Little-to-no wait time Staff was very nice Order at the table on an iPad Tons of napkins Cute setup Sukiyaki Broth delicious Veggies were fresh Self-serve sodas and teas Self-serve shaved ice and condiments Beef tongue was good First round of wagyu was delicious Cons: Everything was cheap quality Unseasoned hotpot broth for the Beef Tallow, no depth of flavor. Adding condiments couldn't fix it. HOW pot's strength is the wide variety of unrelated foods you can get for one price. I doubt you can get this range of food for $30 anywhere else. That being said, you are trading variety for quality. Weekend lunch turned out to be $30 which was a pleasant surprise. A few items in other Yelp photos were absent, such as skewers or what looks to be ribeye, but at $30 I am not complaining. This $30 includes 1 self-serve ice cream bar (Häagen-Däzs or Nestle drumstick), self-serve canned drinks, and cotton candy. It might also include soft serve obtained through your server - not sure if you can only have the ice cream bar or soft serve, and not both. There was heavily seasoned braised pork, white rice, and some fruits on the self-serve bar. Everything else was ordered through the tablet at your table. So although there were photos of fried foods and dim sum on buffet, there wasn't any when I went. I really appreciated how small the portions were. We only received 2 items each for most orders, which is helpful for items we only wanted to try. After all, you can always order more! However, you might still only get 1 serving even if you order 2, you'll just have to reorder. My three biggest gripes here are the meats are not sliced thinly enough for hot pot. All the meats we had were best barbecued. The sesame sauce tasted a much more like peanuts than gomadare. Lastly is the cleanliness!! Everything looks or feels greasy. The table looks like grease got wiped on the table. My water has a film of grease before anything is even cooked - the picture I'm adding is from when I sat down. There's grease and crumbs on seats, there's food stains on the walls and the center shelf. Correcting this single issue would improve the experience a lot. Best items were lou sha bao ("phoenix bun") and LA galbi ("short ribs"). You'd think LA galbi wouldn't be good, especially on this kind of cooking surface, but actually was the best meat. I would be surprised if the wagyu short plate was even American Wagyu, but was also pretty good when really crisped up like you might with chadolbagi. At the end of our meal, they also brought out slushies in strawberry or pineapple flavour on the house. I feel bad for rating 3 star because they are offering so many options, and they are fast to bring your food. If not for the cleanliness issue, I would rate 4 star. read more

I saw this place on social media and so glad my husband and I came to try it. We both love KBBQ and Hot Pot so this was perfect for us. They have unlimited sodas which is awesome and a great sauce bar. They have ice cream but when we went (which was close to closing), they didn't have any. We were too full for it! Hot pot, kbbq and dim sum? A trifecta of my favorite foods! Great place for the indecisive eater. Used to be the site of short lived Crazy Monk hot pot. With three different styles of food, the selection in each type of foods is a bit small compared to a place that was just a dedicated hot pot place or a dim sum place. The weakest selection is by far the dim sum selection which seems like an afterthought. I actually liked the personal sized hot pot and kbbq mini grill with each diner getting their own set up. The place was crazy crowded on the weekend! I think they are still working out the kinks as the wait times can be pretty long despite the 90 min maximum time limit that they are upfront with reminding you. They have everything -- Korean barbecue, hot pot, dim sum, dessert, and even unlimited drinks. It really feels like you can have every craving met in one visit. We went during a holiday soft opening, and even then, the service and food were fantastic. The music collection was great -- full of nostalgic songs that made the atmosphere feel alive -- but my only wish is that they'd display the artist or song title somewhere. The music was that good, and I would've loved to add a few tracks to my playlist without pulling out my phone in the middle of my meal. What I loved most is that you actually have the freedom to enjoy your food without feeling rushed. There's no strict timer -- you finish at your own pace, which makes the whole experience feel relaxing and intentional. It's nice to be able to eat, talk, and take it all in without being hurried along. They even have old-school video games -- total bonus! And I didn't mind paying for parking at all since there's no time limit; I could just relax, eat, and soak it all in. Went there for dinner with the family for the first time. It was a wonderful experience. Seriously good AYCE! Having our own individual hotpot and grill was SO much fun! Didn't have to be cooking for everyone one else while trying to grab quick bites for myself like usual. Kids loved being able to cook for themselves too. The available options of food was a lot bigger than we had anticipated. Best advice is to order slowly, don't order everything all at once. Finally tried this place. Went at lunch on Friday. Giant Kpop music videos blasting. Overall probably the most unique ayce with the most selection in Seattle at a reasonable price point. Highlights: Food: typical meat selection. dont expect michelin star quality but nothing was bad, if you don't like something try something else it's ayce. Or try grilling it instead boiling or vice-versa. Only thing that didn't hit was the ha gao dumpling. Drinks: aycd sofa cans, which cant be sustainable but where else lets you do this without paying more?? Softserve ice cream: 10/10 you can taste real milk and sugar. Delicious and great service. We had a party of 5 and they offered us a discount for seating us at a table for 4. The older gentleman was so kind about it! We came around 6pm on Saturday only waited for 10 min before indulging in almost everything on the menu. Our favorite was the beef short ribs which were really thick, the wagyu, and the boneless short ribs. Our waiter was very attentive, he recommended the tomato and beef tallow broths (pro tip combine the two + sauces for an amazing spicy tangy soup). Sides came out really fast. I love this place. I think it's awesome. Go during lunch for a good deal. You get 90 min to eat all the how pot and KBbq you want. You choose your meat options, soup base, vegetables, sides, appetizers, and noodles on an iPad. You send your order to the kitchen and the staff delivers all your items to the table. You get to scoop your own rice, make your own dipping sauce/how pot sauce, grab your own drinks, and get your own bowls and soup spoons. I think the concept is great and the food was excellent. If you're getting the beef Wagyu, use it in the hot pot and don't cook it on the hot stone cause it's extra oily. The house broth is yummy and I got it with instant ramen. The dumplings were alright but I loved how flavorful the broth is. To grill, we ordered marinated beef, boneless beef short ribs, bone in short ribs, and Wagyu beef. I definitely love the bone in/boneless short ribs. For appetizers we got the chicken wings, spicy fried rice, and vegetable spring rolls. Everything was excellent. They also make slushies that they offer to tables! It's great. The restaurant does get busy at times which means the staff is too! They offer ice cream bars and soft serve ice cream for dessert. Today they only had soft serve available but it was a nice sweet treat at the end of our meal. You basically have your own little cooking station to make whatever you want. I love that! We came for Valentine's Day. You have to pay for parking so add that cost to your tab. We waited about 20mins for a table. It's a nice idea having your own hot pot/kbbq station but I'd rather have more choices for kbbq and do without the hot pot. They didn't have any skewers available during lunch so maybe it's just for dinner? The dim sum is frozen and something you can buy from a grocery store and make yourself. Was planning on going to a different hot pot place, but the wait was terrible. I look online and saw this was right around the corner so we gave it a try The restaurant was clean and well decorated. We added ourselves on the wait-list, however the server quickly seated us. At the table, you can do hot pot and BBQ which I thought was really cool. They have a sauce station, and self serve soda. When you cross 2 really good AYCE concepts, this is what you get, and they do it well. The meats are quality, the veggies and other options for hot pot and bbq are just the right amount, but do beware you will order more than you think you need. The self serve sections were really tasty and good. I enjoyed the variety of dim sum, and fried dishes. The fried bao and soft-serve ended the experience on a good note. We had a reservation for 7pm on a Sunday, which we got there just before 7, but our table wasn't ready. However, the uncle behind the check in desk gave us a tablet right away so we can get started on ordering. Best idea, our food was pretty much delivered within minutes of us sitting down at our table. These are personal hot pot and bbq seats, be ready to smell like food for the rest of the night after a visit here. It was bustling inside, people all over and not sure how to feel about the random arcade games and the cotton candy maker. They just opened recently, so I feel like they'll be working on their own things over time, but so far so good! I will say the best things were the wagyu belly, the brisket, and the lamb. The lamb slapped so hard that I thought it was beef. The spicy broth I got was solid. I recommend getting extra hot if u want that mala tingly to hit a bit harder. A bonus is their hot bar. They literally have jade garden dim sum there if you want it. At the end of the meal serve yourself up some of that all you can eat soft serve. They have the same cones you'd find at dolar shop. Very pleasantly surprised because it was pretty good and the meat quality was fatty but still yummy. I would not get the custard coconut buns because it was so dry and mid, but everything else was pretty good, like the short ribs and Wagyu plate. A game changer was when I grilled the kimchi with sesame oil to eat along with the fried rice and meat! The service is attentive without being overbearing. None of it is groundbreaking, but all of it is good. It's shocking, really. People told me it was just okay, but it's not just okay: it's incredible. I saw them unloading supplies from a Tesla Cybertruck outside of the restaurant at 7:45 PM on a Monday evening. That's like, what reality am I in? I had three distinct dining experiences in a 90 minute period only to walk out to the same servers restocking from a fake pickup truck. I seriously think that people who think it's just okay are not appreciating this historical moment we're in. We have the technology of the future, we can have good hot pot, good kbbq, and good dim sum at the same time! And you're choosing to be picky? For shame. We might all die tomorrow. The newest hot spot in town! I went when it first opened so it still needed to work out some of their issues but I book a reservation a week in advance so we got our table without much wait. A lot of the dishes like chicken feet, custard buns that I saw from social media reels weren't available. Maybe it's on rotation or it was out but just keep in mind, it might not be there if you're going for it. Overall, it was a fun experience. I would try again in a few months. Love the concept but didn't like anything. Me and my partner love kbbq and hot pot, we go almost every other week and know the best spots to go to. When we saw this place offering both kbbq and hot pot so we had to try it. Here are my thoughts. Firstly, the wait was over an hour for 2 people. Would not wait that long again for the quality of food. Service was good, food was not good, left with stomach problems the following night. The ambiance was good but it got pretty foggy in there due to weak ventilation. KBBQ Meat was okay, we got almost all the meats and only liked the beef rolls. You cook the meat in a black pan with a paper on it, this made all the oil from the meats build up and after 10 minutes we were basically just cooking our meat in a puddle of oil and it made everything too oily. Overall the meat was average, but because we had to cook it in oil made it unappetizing. Hotpot Broth was very bland, I ordered thick noodles and that was the only thing I liked. The hotpot ingredients (meatballs/fishballs, noodles, quail eggs etc.) were average. Buffet We went on a Saturday evening during dinner time (6pm), and there was no dim sum left. What they did have available was average. Their ice cream machines were both broken. Overall, the concept is a very good idea but execution is horrible. You can find a better hotpot place and kbbq place anywhere else. Eating here was like eating at a very cheap buffet. TLDR: As an American, hot pot is a weird concept. "H.O. wpot" is still weird, but it's at least pretty good. Cheat Sheet: - Your objective here is to either grill or boil (in soup) your food items then dip them in a DIY sauce you make at the sauce bar. - Get the tomato based soup. - If you're like me and think boiling meat should be a crime - stick to the grill. - Get the short ribs - While good, the thin sliced meats all taste the same, don't think too hard here. - Portions of things are large - order 2 things at a time. Drinks: Assorted free soft drinks? Didn't have them... (sorry; I know, but this is my template...) Vibe: - Hot pot like? Sorta a cross between eating at a mall and a fast food chain. - i'm not sure what to say here. Our party of 7 came here with hungry bellies and left really happy. There's a large variety of meats, cooked food, veggies, and seafood. Each person gets their own hot pot and their own grill plate. What an awesome concept! We ordered our food on the iPad and Sent the order to the kitchen -- and soon after trays and trays of meat and food arrived. We chose the signature house beef soup and to be honest I didn't drink it because I was so stuffed. I recommend ordering just a little first .. then ordering more when you're done. It was all you can eat too- our eyes were way too big and ordered a little too much. Our servers were very attentive making sure our broth was filled and that the plates were getting cleared. There's a sauce area to make your own dipping sauce There's also unlimited ice cream and drinks I really liked that they had a nut free option for those with allergies. I came here with my 2 friends recently right and we had a great time! I really enjoyed the food quality at this restaurant. My favorite meat selection for the bbq was the wagyu slices and the Korean marinated meat. The hotpot side it had all the basic needs for hot pot and I was very satisfied with the selection. I did enjoy the fish ball with roe a lot. As for the appetizer selection the 2 dimsum selections they had was surprisingly super good. I liked it a lot. I didn't enjoy the fried chicken wing they had but the rest of the sides were great. They also have a dipping sauce bar which had all the usual condiments. Overall I love this concept of having hotpot, kbbq, and dimsum. It's also all you can eat which it makes it more fun to try things. They also have a self serve ice cream machine which I was super happy about and I enjoyed the ice cream. The service was fantastic too everyone was helpful and polite. I'm excited to come back again with more of my friends! Also low key music is (playing kpop where the projected visuals finally matched the songs ) Anyways, the meat quality is top notch where you can get anything from sliced wagyu, goose intestine to beef tripe and all sorts of cuts. Also their dim sum bar serves better dim sum than a lot of places here in Seattle. Plenty of additional sauce bar as well as free flow of drinks, ice cream and cotton candy machine. The experience here is that you grill some of your meat right beside your hot pot. No one is stopping you from grilling all the hot pot meat as well. For the price of $43 for AYCE during their soft opening and a price increases to $45 after this period still is so worth it per person when considering all the excellent meat quality. Also the service here is amazing as well, even though they are understaffed during the time that we went, they still seemed to managed to cater to all of us.
