This is a highly recommended local restaurant we should support and treasure! I went there this afternoon for a quick lunch and ordered a small Combo Pho and a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake. For the Combo Pho, the meat quality is great and sufficient and the pho amount is just right! Most importantly is that the soup is hot and you won't get thirsty after having their soup. At $12.50 price, that's a great price in Tri-Valley since pandemic. Also, I'd ordered a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake as the side of my pho. When it comes to pho, I'm usually very picky since I was born and raised in Vietnam. We found out this restaurant on our way back to the Bay from Eastern sierra. After all of the bugers and sandwitches, I was craving for my comfort food. I had the medium rare steak and meatball pho and my boy friend had the vermicelli bowl. Hot Pho has a clean, efficient and friendly location and it's a shame I wasn't able to stay to eat. I ordered the beef pho #1 in order to experience all of the meat varieties on offer, and my takeout order's portion was plentiful and quite delicious (my only gripe is that there were no vegetable garnished provided, e.g. bean sprouts, Thai basil, sliced limes and chilis). I ordered #47 with an extra noodle. My Favorite! Beef were marinated flavorfully. The broth that came with it was Heaven! tasted very earthy, flavorful & soothing. After a disappointing experience at another pho place, we decided to come to Hot Pho. I'm glad we did because this is definitely some of the better pho I've had in the area. Blown away by the quality and quantity of food. I was driving to Pho Benny in Lafayette because there was no great pho (in my opinion) near San Ramon. The pho was incredible and with Amazing Basil &a cup of Pho being moved to Fremont I am glad to have this place locally. This is a solid pho place. I come here often because of close proximity. Great to support a "mom and pop" location. I spoke to the owner briefly when they first opened and they bought the place from the previous Amazing Basil. I can see that they are trying to make it a place that satisfies their customers. This place has been opened for a month. Tried it with the family and we had one pho beef ball bowl, one steak rice place and one vermicelli plate. It was really good and service was super friendly. We normally go to Pho Saigon on the pleasanton side. The overall food quality here is better than pho Saigon. Coming from San Jose and eating a lot of Vietnamese food, it was nice to find a place in Dublin that has the same Vietnamese food authenticity. Highly recommended. The food literally had no flavor, tasted water down. Barely had any meat, i had to pay extra for more meat and still wasn't enough all noddles and broth no meat. I was in the area and wanted pho since it had been a while since I had any, and I wanted to check out a new place. I ordered #14, which was the brisket and tendon with rice noodles along with an order of spring rolls. The broth could've been better. I appreciated that it wasn't as salty as other places, but it could've used a little more flavor. Also, the slice of lime/lemon that they gave to squeeze the juice over the pho did nothing to help lighten the dish. It was such a disappointment. The spring rolls were good. A bit small, but packed with flavor. The disappointment came with the peanut sauce. It had a weird, bland taste to it. It's not a good thing when I tasted more flavor from the hoison and Sriracha sauces than I did the peanut sauce. Noise levels were fine, but mentally prepare for hearing covers of Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, and others on replay. Sorry tried to give this place a few more chances its gone down so bad. The pho is inedible, the noodles are stuck together in a ball, the broth taste like they made it from a buillon powder. My kids are easy going they both said its so bad and they asked to never come again :(. The dude bringing the food out was coughing so much and not even covering his mouth. I think this place would be better if portion sizes were better. Went with wife and she ordered pho and I had the sliced pork over rice. We also had the fried egg rolls and I tried their cafe su da. The pho broth was good, but my wife said the rice noodles were too soggy. Meat portions looked okay. My poke dish left a lot to be desired. First, the portion was small. They sliced very thinly and didn't give enough. Second, the flavoring was off. It should have a bbq char like taste and it was bland. The egg rolls were okay. I like the deep fried color a bit darker and it looks like it was barely fried. They give your 4 pieces; each cut it half. Again, the flavor seemed a bit lacking. The cafe su da was decent. As I've noticed year over year, Viet places have moved away from the traditional drip method in favor of quick mix drinks. Service is good and dishes come out fast. It's too bad about the portion size, as this could have become a favorite spot given it's proximity. read more

I've seen this pop up when they opened as a hot and new when I hopped on yelp to find something to eat. Usually with new pho spots, I like to try them out because the options in the tri valley isn't great compared to when I'm in San Jose. I've kind of put it off but today I was by the target and didn't have lunch yet and thought it was the perfect opportunity to try. Now we came at 12:30 and parking was tough...had to drive around for a bit. When we finally parked and came in, the place is beautifully designed and looked very clean. Ordered and had to try the pho and it is so good! Lot of places will have meat and the rice noodle from the same source. But the broth is what sets it apart from place to place and this spot absolutely hits! Meat is good and cooked perfectly and this place is such a gem. Lovely new spot at the Fallon shopping center. Tasty pho soup with lots of other selections such as grilled pork chops which were cooked to perfection. It was moist but had that awesome char and that scintillating smell of smoke. The fish cakes were absolutely yummy. The portions here are large and worth every penny you pay for. Was undecided as to whether go back to our favorite pho place in Oakland vs try this new place. We were so impressed! Clean (saw them wiping the tables down well), considerate (we asked for teaspoons and the waiter placed them on a plate, not directly on our table) and prompt (food arrived in 5-10 minutes). My wife had the beef pho - plenty of meat with clear broth that was not too salty. I had the chicken/pork with seafood pho - so good that I decided to take my remaining broth home!
