Just kinda meh. Limited parking. Bathrooms needed attention. Hot as hell inside. We went for the Barks for Beers event. They had a limited selection for your pour, so I had to pay an upcharge for a beer i actually wanted to drink. I mean, worth it for a decent brew, but just seems silly to me to limit your choices for an event that may possibly bring in more business for you down the road. I wish I liked this place better because it is super convenient to me. Maybe if I'm thirsty before an AFC match I'll pop in. Or if there is another fundraiser of sorts that I am supporting. But not a place I'll just recommend as a hang with my crew. I would like to check out Kramer's cocktails which is on the back of the building.

Super cute lil spot! We came Friday night and had a couple of drinks and it's super chill!! The outside is very cute and painted! There is plenty of seating and a pizza truck - dough squad! They also serve margaritas / ranch waters and ciders for people who don't drink beer!! Also dog friendly!! Bathrooms are nice and clean too. Overall a really cute, relaxed spot to grab a drink and some pizza!

This was my first trip to hopsquad and I just got a growler filled this time. The beer I got was a hazy IPA and we love it so we intend go for a sit down soon. The service was excellent and the choice of beers was really good. The food trucks around look interesting. Looking forward to the next visit

This is a really cool spot to hang out near Q2 stadium. Plenty of seating for you and the family and a kid friendly spot. You will find a food truck or two in the back. They have several beers on tap including margaritas and a couple of other cocktails. I would just stick to beer the margarita wasn't very big and expensive. You will find TVs all over with them showing the games. This is a great spot to hang out for the night with friends or family.

Great atmosphere and love their beer options. They make their beers in house. Also they have awesome bar tenders

F1 watching party was fun. Great beer and great friend.

What a fun place. The wide open indoor space is comfortable and with the garage doors open it was a perfect setting to watch the F1 televised race. The bartender was wonderful and gave some good ideas and helped understand the various brews. The beer was great! Parking tends to be a challenge but not impossible. We parked at a warehouse parking lot right next to the brewery.

This is a very chill location, it wasn't very busy when we arrive and the bartender was friendly and knew the lyrics to every tune on the playlist. We had their Hazy IPA and it was very tasty. The beer will be bringing us back here. The place got busier and seems to be a hangout for small groups and meetings. Lots of room, parking is tight, but overall this is one of Austin's breweries that we would come back to. My wife had to have the flask that they were showing in the IG photo's, glad we stopped.

This place is a vibe, and I'm here for it! Absolutely loved the open, industrial concept of the space, the various seating options, and the instragramable decor and murals. Also, really enjoyed the beer selection and the beers themselves! Happy to see a variety of different styles and some with some interesting adjuncts. It's always nice when breweries get creative! They have a great selection of games to keep you and your squad entertained and the beertender was chill and engaging. Definitely add this place to your ATX Brewery hitlist! Friendly staff, great beer. There is a food truck onsite with pizza and a few other snacks. Cool atmosphere. Dogs welcome too.

Beer was great. Forgot what I got. Some hazy IPA. Also got tacos from the tres B's truck outside and the wonderful woman surprisingly asked where I was and brought everything to our table inside. Been here a bunch before and met the owner when they first opened and super nice young curly-headed gentleman. I told him he won the lottery with the Q2 stadium opening. Told me the story of how he got in there just a couple months or so before site selection. He very subtly, silently, briefly - "raised the roof." As would I. Hopsquad is, to me, the best brewery in an area of great breweries. The design is top notch too. Open, evening light casting shapes and shadows over all the Satiny shiny bare concrete and modern geometric minimalism.

What I love about hopsquad is how dog friendly it is. The pups are allowed indoors! Much appreciated during the summer and rainy days. Tons of picnic style seating inside and outside. There's a projector which and other large tv inside. Nice spot to bring your laptop and work as well. Cons, the beer is just ok. Idk what it is, but not a big fan of their IPAs or creative ingredient combinations.

Just the ticket as our UK friends would say, a crackin' pint

Finally stopped by to try them out. Only con was limited parking out front. This is zeroed out by the fact that the brewery very helpfully has the parking areas available around the corner listed right on their website! Very helpful in Austin traffic so you don't have to do the "circle the block" dance. The important stuff: very nice selection of beer styles, very roomy spaces in and out, and very dog buddy friendly. We don't currently have one, so being able to vicariously enjoy other folks dags is always a plus. Just had IPAs (this is our go-to beer), and could have stayed a lot longer if we had had the time. Very nice flavours.

I would love to take my husband here for Father's Day. But I wonder if this is a kid friendly environment? My daughter is 4 1/2.

Hey Sarah, we do have cider and wine for all non-beer drinkers. The cider is from our friends at Fairweather and we have red, white, rose, and bubbly for wine.

Starting on the lighter side of the beer spectrum from here we had the (512) Beer: 30 which is an American Light Lager. In the flavor profile for this beer you can find a natural sweetness, a crisp and clean presence as well. The beer was light bodied and very easy to drink more than one of! Moving to darker beer territory and the one that I liked maybe just a little bit better (but it was neck and neck) was the (512) Pecan Porter. This was a fun porter as it was on the nutty side of things as the name indicates. All the flavors blended in very nicely. Flavor features in this beer to find is sweetness, a coffee presence and of course the pecan flavor. The beer is nice and smooth and creamy in body. Two good beers from two different beer types made this beer exploration a little bit more well rounded.

We got Texas Sake tasting to start with and this is where we finished. The flight looked very different from other people's reviews here and tasted VERY fishy. The yellow-ish one was probably the most bearable one but it still was not good at all. To be very honest, I really had to push myself to take more than one sip of each. If I had nothing to compare with, I would probably refrain from being this harsh, but I have had cheap and expensive sake and I have never tasted anything this bad... We looked at the hand roll options and we didn't find anything we would be interested in. The interior felt like it was a bingo room with a couple of Japan inspired booths that looked a little bit out of place compared to the rest of the floor. Gave one star for nice staff and a cool fish mural.

In the flavor profile of this beer you will find a naturally sweet corn flavor, some maltiness along with a tart and dry finish. The beer is light bodied like most lagers of this type and smooth in body. In addition to having a beer we also decided to get some lunch. So we got a chicken sandwich a piece along with coleslaw and had a very nice lunch.
