Took my team to Hops n Drops for lunch this week. Arrived at 11:30 and Autumn greeted and sat us. She told us she would be our server and asked us if she could get us drinks. She was back within minutes with our drinks and took our order. We were a party of six, and our food was at the table within 15-20 minutes of placing our order. Our food was hot and delicious, and Autumn did a wonderful job taking care of us. After lunch we ordered the hot mini donuts for dessert and yum! They were delicious! Fantastic experience and we went back two days in a row to try as many menu items as possible as there are tons of choices! Even brought our whole family back the second day and everyone has been raving since. That side of town has been missing a good sports bar/casual hangout with good eats. The manager Mike is so friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. Their Siberian Mules are to die for. So many flavor choices and those frozen glasses are totally awesome and make the drink memorable. Happy hour is from 2-6, so it caters to all schedules. Full menu ranging from comfort foods (sandwiches, wraps, and burgers) to salads. They have a really good happy hour food and drink menu too. Wide selection of cocktails and beer which we would have taken more advantage of if we had taken an Uber. Prices were good and service was excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating is plentiful and we did not feel crowded in. Plenty of TVs spread around the restaurant, but it was not too noisy...just right. The manager, Mike, came by to check on everything. Super nice guy. We noticed Mike made sure customers walking around wore masks and even got a couple guys masks when they said they didn't have one. We really liked that he was nice, but firm, about keeping patrons safe. We've also heard their breakfast is absolutely fantastic which is music to our ears because the Superior/Broomfield area is so weak for breakfast restaurants. The menu was a bit overwhelming with a bit of everything. It was happy hour, so we tried the Hawaiian shrimp & fried zucchini. Both were great: shrimp were done to perfection with a not too sweet & not too spicy sauce and the batter on the thick cut zucchini was thin but crispy. We each picked a burger & each was at temp per our requests. The only complaint was the Mac n cheese side. It is penne & didn't have much flavor. Everyone enjoyed the meal. My sis thought her long island was watered down/not potent enough for a LI, but it's happy hour, so she got what she paid for. Came in on a Monday night for football with my girlfriend. The place was completely dead. She got the appetizer nachos and the waiter came out bragging about how their cook was "so proud of the cheese job on these nachos". I wish I would've taken a before picture because there was hardly any cheese on them to start with and after she ate the ones with cheese, this is what was left over. I got the chicken tenders and they were just okay. I got the fries with that and the fries were damn near inedible. They were so salty. As well as the coating for the chicken. The place was dead as I mentioned before and it took quite awhile for our server/ bartender to come back and check on us or bring the check. Hops and Drops sounded like a decent choice before a concert nearby. We have been in one close to home so we know what to expect... well this location exceeded those expectations. Staff was friendly, and very welcoming. The food was good, though tots were very salty. The were busy so I let it slide at first, however it took a good ten minutes for our server to come over and clean it. We ordered our drinks and after five minutes of waiting we could see our server casually flirting with one of the bartenders. When he came back he took our food orders and it took 30-45 minutes just to get them. And there were wrong! When I mentioned it to our server, Nathaniel, he said "no that can't be right, never get an order wrong." They were just like the hockey puck gross a$$ burgers you expect from McDonald's. Like burnt, tiny burger. I couldn't believe it. No excuse for that type of Low grade food and then charge that much. My friends and I tried Hops n' Drops for happy hour the other day, and I wasn't blown away. I consider myself a pretty experienced happy-hour-er, so a restaurant has got to have some pretty good deals if they score in my book. As far as the "Drops" are concerned (I was not really aware of what these were before I visited), these drinks and all of their cocktails were still $9.99, not a part of the happy hour at all. We tried the fried pickles (again, happy hour food prices were not blowing me away), and they were very good, with a pretty large portion as well. I think a Coors Light is around $4, and all of their CO Craft Beers are around $5, which is not bad. My friend got the French Onion Soup (Self-proclaimed "Best FOP you'll ever have") and it was really tasty! This place is marketed as a "Neighborhood Place", but I got less of that and more of a generic sports bar vibe. The staff was pretty attentive, and the place wasn't too loud, always a plus for me! read more

I had the French onion soup which was rich and tasty and not overwhelmed by too much cheese. The pita accompaniment was on point. My husband had the Damn good sandwich. Pretty good first experience! I came for happy hour and to do some work at the bar. Decent sized place with a nice ambiance (reminds me of a BJs - a little corporate but plenty of deco). I had the wonton crisp squares and really enjoyed the flavor there. I saw a few burgers come out and they look awesome (though I am not a fan of texas toast for buns - maybe that was a special one). Needs a better beer selection though - if you have 'hops' in the name you should probably represent all beer varietals (10-20 taps). I'll be back to try more though it I wish it was a little cheaper. read more

After a day in Rocky Mountain NP we were hungry so after reading a few reviews and checking out the menu online we headed to this place for a burger and a drink. We were seated right away, a server took our order promptly and the food came pretty quick as well. My husband's burger was cooked fine, half of mine was too rare to eat and my daughter's was overcooked. We were tired and it was late - not worth sending anything back at this point. Unfortunately the place was grossly understaffed with the one server handling about 7-8 tables inside & out. We waited several minutes to get my credit card back so I went in to retrieve it and sign the tab. I gave her a generous tip because the staffing issue was not her fault. I wasn't happy to be overcharged for one glass of what was supposedly (and tasted like) house wine or for the extra $1 for "tots" that come with the burgers. The petty upcharge is bad business. No TP in one of the stalls in the ladies room and no soap at the sink is bad management. read more
