Very poor experience, did call ahead seating. We were seated right away as we arrived, and then ignored. We waited about 35 minutes, saw 2 waitstaff service tables 3 or 4 times as we watched. We then went to the bar, got drinks and ordered appetizers ourselves. About another 15 minutes later the food arrived. The server was our first interaction with the non bar staff. We asked for water and plates. They sent a manager over, who explained there was a misunderstanding, on which waitstaff had our table. About 10 minutes later we got our water and plates. NOT ACCEPTABLE, no offer to make it right. Will not be back and will spread the word. read more

We tried Hop n Drops for the first time last night. I got the happy hour fish tacos (only 2 tacos and no sour cream or guacamole). It was the perfect portion for me and it tasted amazing. We also got the potato chips with garlic ranch dip. I could not stop eating them. For my drink, the rainbow drop. I could have drank those all night. I love that it's served in an ice cup because it helps keep the drink from getting watered down. I also have to give a shout-out to our server Drew. Very expensive since the Potato Nachos that was a starter were around $12 to $15. I saw the other plates that were sandwiches and burgers were a bit overpriced for the portion. Was really hoping to like this place since it's close to our new house but honestly the food was awful. We went for happy hour, our bill was close to $60 for 2 people (for happy hour?!?) and we couldn't even eat what we ordered. If giving zero stars was an option we'd be giving it because I genuinely don't think I've ever had service worse than the service we received this morning. We called ahead with a party of 8 to see how long the wait would be and give them a heads up we'd be heading their way. The man who answered the phone was super friendly and informed us he'd have a table ready for us when we arrived as they weren't busy at all. We thought that's perfect as almost every other breakfast/brunch restaurant was crazy long waits and it gave us the opportunity to try something new. Wish we would've waited the hour wait for elsewhere because it took our server, Itzel (was her name according to our receipts) 10-15 minutes to even acknowledge us and once she did it took another 10 minutes to even get our drinks. After getting our drinks we informed her we were waiting on one more but wanted to order anyways as we were all hungry. She said she'd be right back and disappeared for another 10 minutes with no explanation. We finally ordered and a few minutes later our last person in the party arrived. She came over and got his drink and order decently fast so we thought maybe it would look up from here. We didn't see our server again until our food was ready and she dropped off the person who ordered lasts food first and then 4 other plates leaving 3 in the back saying they'd be right behind her. It took 15 minutes for the last three plates to show up at the table and for us to get salt and condiments to enjoy our food, by that time our food was cold and we were all hangry. I got up to use the restroom half way through our meal and one of the toilets was clogged with vomit as the other stall was in use. An employee then came out of the second stall and went into the one clogged and I went into the unclogged stall. While using the restroom all I heard was the employee yacking, if you're yacking and handling food and beverage I'm 1000% sure that's against health code, major violation. I could not even stomach to finish my food after the overwhelming scent of vomit from my trip to relieve my bladder. Regardless if it's covid or not, stay home if your vomiting, nobody wants to smell or see your puke in the toilet, also if you clog it with vomit maybe unclog it before your guests use it?? So atrocious. Our server then took forever to bring our friend a box after he asked for it and give us our checks. As a former server I was just so overly disappointed, I've been quadruple sat on a Sunday morning at Snooze, one of the busiest breakfast restaurants in Colorado, and still provided far better service than we received and there was FOUR tables in their whole restaurant. From the looks of it our server had only our table and then got one shortly before we left who sat for so long they got up to find a server to help them. It was not busy at all and there is zero excuse to treat us like you'd rather do anything but serve us. I know most servers think younger adults won't tip but we do know how to tip IF we receive the service we deserve, but don't treat us like we're not going to tip anyways because then we won't! friendly reminder, treat every single table unbiasedly and like they're paying your bills and maybe we will help pay your bills‍ read more

I really love this place for their drinks and their menu options. Their variety is amazing, truly something for everyone. Their "drops" are pretty darn cool and I really love that they offer non-alcoholic options (fancy flavored lemonades) that are very tasty (and pretty!). I found this place on Yelp and was surprised because it is right near my work location. The menu looked good and it was close to home so we went for it. They sat us right away though they were full so we sat outside. Not bad for a Friday evening. Should have brought a hoodie! Don't forget yours, it gets cold in CO in the fall evenings. Anyway, I ordered a mushroom burger and my gf ordered the chicken sandwich (in the burger list) with no cheese. Our food came out pretty fast but alas, they put cheese on her sandwich. The server specifically noted it so the kitchen missed it. This is why they get 5 stars... It's not about the mistake, it's how it's handled. I can't believe how fast they turned that order around, with a new sandwich. The manager brought it out and apologized, and it was so quick, about 5 minutes, that my burger was still hot enough that I had to bite slowly. Oh, and her sandwich and my burger was delicious. And they have tater tots! Big plus. Anyway the drinks were strong and the food yummy. I'm coming back! Oh, the patio music is awful... but the place is great! read more

This spot is a welcomed addition to the Broomfield area. The food is high quality and the staff has been really friendly. Ordered breakfast with tip it was 75.00 for 4. Three out of the 4 meals were cold, no syrup for 2, that needed syrup. Brought out 4 drinks 2 in carrier, 2 not needed to ask for another carrier. Called when I got back to hotel and transferred me to a number no one answers. Luckily for us our hotel had syrup. This was my first time there, met a manager who worked there to get it open I believe a year ago. He talked very highly of the food and service. Sorry not impressed or going back. I highly recommend Hops n Drops. We went their last night. The staff was great. One of our servers was a trainee and she did a great job. The rest of the staff was very friendly. I really liked the Happy Hour they had going on. The food was great too. So many options on the menu. I had the Smoked Pork Rib Tips. The waitress did caution that it came on the bone which i appreciated knowing when i ordered the meal. The meat fell off the bone when i got it. It was DELICIOUS! We also got the Fried Pickles and those were great as well. The noise level was perfect. It wasn't too loud so i could have a conversation. I'm looking forward to a return trip. So I've never left a review because downloadeing yelp just didn't seem worth it. BUT THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW...if you have even decent taste and enjoy food, DO NOT eat here. I mean it had to be the worst food I have ever eaten, any chain included. Everything was either heavily over salted, came out of a microwave, or just not what was advertised. I genuinely felt bad as the waitress was sweet, but she could tell instantly by the fact that we didn't take more then a bite of anything how disappointed we were. My gf got a salad and it was some undercooked chicken thrown on top of some soggy iceberg lettuce with some old avocado mixed in.
