Well a farewell to some Hooters restaurants. Daytona wings called hubby and I as we were just out and about in Greenbriar. Hey why not thought? Simple Saturday parking was ok. The restaurant has seen its better days. I'm not sure what I stepped into but upon my first few steps into the restaurant my shoes became sticky....and as I continued to wash to our table. The first table was dirty with sticky sauce. The second table seats were very badly worn and filled with crumbs! I cleaned it off with hand sanitizer and their paper towel. Our friendly waitress was greeted us. Took our drink orders as she placed menus on the table. Since everything else was dirty I could not touch it. I already knew what hubby was going to order any-hoo. I ordered and received a bottle of Angry Orchard. I asked for a glass and yes a straw. Out order all came at once. I was ready to eat and leave this place. As we enjoyed out Daytona wings. I watched a great view of the geese and birds through the window. It was a spectacular view of nature in flight and landing over the lake. Sadly I did not see the Neutra that is a local neighbor. Well. Good wings Hooters. Fun fact for my review. In my very early 20's I worked as Hooters girl. South Beach Miami! Pay was just $2.10 per hr. TIPS..were great!! Paying my college tuition and saving my checks. My sister and I dined at Hooters on Veterans Day and ordered 10-piece all-flat wings -- I had the Spicy Thai, and she had the Spicy Garlic. The food itself was delicious, fresh, and served hot within about 15 minutes, which we really appreciated. However, the service from our server, Emma, was unfortunately lackluster. While she did check in once after our food arrived, there wasn't much warmth or effort to build rapport throughout our visit. Her demeanor felt rushed and a bit impatient, especially when I was trying to make a menu decision. Toward the end of the meal, it became difficult to get her attention -- we asked for a to-go bag that never came, and instead, she dropped off the check and moved on without a proper goodbye. On a positive note, another server named Tallah deserves a shout-out. When she came by to clear our dirty dishes (which had been sitting for a while), my sister politely asked for the sauces we'd been waiting on. Talia was incredibly kind, saying "oh, it's no bother!" and got the sauces right away. Her friendly and attentive attitude stood out and made a real difference in how we ended our meal. Overall, the food was great, but the service could use improvement. Stopped for a family visit with my grandfather, at his request! We had a great time thanks to our waitress Peytan! The food was as advertised, fried pickles were crispy and not oily at all. The remoulade sauce was a perfect accompaniment. I had 5 Daytona and 5 garlic habanero wings and they were both delicious. Not greasy and nice and hot. Both my uncle and Grandpa were very happy with their wings. Great music was playing as well. Will be back for sure! read more

We always visit the same location anytime we crave wings, cuz let's face it (in my opinion) the Hooters in Chesapeake has better wings than B-Dubs. It's been awhile, but this past Saturday, I enjoyed my dining experience at the bar. My fiance and I visited about 1pm and the crowd was steady. We were able to find seating at the bar. The bartender was attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout our 90 minute visit. I ordered a half pound of shrimp and fries and my babe ordered shrimp tacos. We both were super satisfied with everything even our drinks were on point. I took advantage of the daily deals, $5 margaritas (any flavor) and $3 well drinks. Parking was not an issue at all and the vibe was chill at the bar. This place is known for the wings, but the shrimp were super easy to peel and the curly fries were so yummy. Horrible! We had a party of 12 and everyone ordered at different times. Arrived at 6:45, I ordered steamed shrimp at 7:00, didn't receive them until 8:30. I finished my wings before my fries even came out! The server was great, kudos to her. I was told that there was a new cook in the kitchen. This fumble is solely on the MOD who didn't want to come out and address the problem when I 1st complained about no food on the table 1 hour into us ordering! He told the bartender to give us 10% off and take off a side! You mean sides we still have received!? Took them 1 solid hour to split the checks. Server comes back and there is no discounts of any sort after an hour of waiting on the checks. MOD finally came out! I told him the issues and said 10% off is a slap in the face. I told him that he was going to take this loss because we weren't paying! No apology about anything, but he told us to have a good night. I did see him scolding the servers as we left. We were hunting for food on our way over to a family members house around 9:30 New Years Eve. Hooters was one of few places nearby that was still open. Surprisingly my husband made the suggestion that we'd grab take out. For as long as I've know him, he's never liked the food at Hooters but I have and always loved them! So much that it use to be my favorite lunch time spot with the girls. Anyway, I knew exactly what I wanted as I have been a fan of their buffalo chicken sandwich (sooo juicy and flavorful) for some years now. I ordered it in mild sauce along with their curly fries and a side of cheese to dip them in. YUMMMMM. I also decided to order some fried pickles to share. They are some of my favorites as well. The sauce they give you to dip them in is delicious. There was a bit of a wait for our food which I didn't mind because it was a holiday. I understand the COVID rules are affecting all restaurants but every time I come here, we get very poor service and cold food. (Before and during) We came in and were placed on the waiting list. Then another server came up and sat the guy after us. We had to then tell her there is a waiting list and we were next. Then we were sat directly under the tv that we were trying to watch. It was like breaking our necks to look directly up to watch our game. So we asked to move and after some time we were able to. So that was the only good thing. They are cleaning the tables with something to prevent COVID spread but they were so sticky we could barely get our phone or plates off the table. The cheese didn't come with our fries and when it finally did it was thick and cold. We ordered 20 wings to share but they didn't have clean plates for us to use so we shared the one wing plate. The server was clearly weeded and I blame the management for not anticipating football season. There was no manager on duty and the cooks were more concerned with the football games than making food. How can you not love going to a Hooters? (This is not a sexist statement, BTW.) I love chicken wings and theirs don't disappoint. If you want to have a fat kid moment (aka a cheat day), chicken wings and fries is the right thing to do. Service is acceptable but not exceptional. We met some friends here to watch the college football playoffs on a Monday night. We had a table for 4 and ordered 4 beers - two bottle and two drafts. The beers arrived one at a time, and took probably 20 minutes from the first beer to the last beer to arrive. To add insult to injury, I had to get a frosted mug to pour the beer because the bottled beer wasn't very cold. 30 minutes into our visit and they just now took our food order. I mean...it's Hooters! The specials they run are the bomb so why not come and enjoy some wings! The best sauce, in my opinion, is the Daytona sauce, so much goodness with just the right amount of heat! Most of the servers here are cool, and I see a lot of the clientele that they deal with, so I can understand if, by the time they come to your table, their feathers are already ruffled. The crew and I tend to come on Wednesday for the $3 Stimulus drinks (limit your fun to just 2, just trust me on this...because I've had 4 and well....that's a long story) and they have a special on boneless wings. If Wednesday doesn't work for you, I recommend hitting up Hooter's on Sunday for the butterfly shrimp. I mean you can't miss it. read more

Recently I have been having terrible experiences with hooters. HOWEVER, I had one hell of a great experience at the Chesapeake Greenbrier Hooters! I had a mom date with a friend and we took our kids into hooters. The hostess was super friendly and was attentive that we had children. She asked what our needs were. For example, kids menus, booth or table, high chair or booster seat. I love people who ask me these questions right when I walk into the door before the hostess finds me a table. As a parent...being prepared is everything and this lady knew exactly what she was dealing with. We sat down and the hooter girls quickly gave the children their crayons and paper to draw on...also following up with an order of drinks for them. Our waitress gave us plenty of time to figure out what we wanted and every question she answered nicely. She also did some suggestive selling...which to me if it benefits me then that is fine with me! Plus I get that the bigger the check the bigger the tip. You go girl. We waited for our food and it didn't take long to come out...The restaurant was clean including the bathrooms. Everything was wiped down, the floors were swept and the drink fountains looked clean. Our kids food came out perfect. All of us had complicated orders and everything was on point. The order was right, the food was hot, the dressings and dips were all there...it was great! The waitress brought us extra napkins for the kids, refilled our drinks without being asked, and was attentive enough to pick up any plates that weren't being used. She was fast and efficient and that is what I like. I like to be pampered and served. The better my service the larger my tip is. 2018 visit, and I was disappointed. My food order was fine, and my buffalo chicken sandwich was brought to my table in a reasonable time and tasted as it should. I arrived about 7:45 pm. Outside lighting for the parking lights were off, with the only lighting from the signage on the building. I mentioned something to the greeter when I entered, and she said the parking lot lights are on a timer set for the summer. There were very few customers in the location. I am guessing most of them that were there were "bar regulars." We all know food is only one reason why folks go to Hooters. The iconic Hooters Girls are supposed to be the other. Part of their appeal comes from following certain guidelines in appearance and actions. Noticed several of them that were not following those guidelines. There are multiple other casual food restaurants in this area, and I feel I will go to them on my next visit to this area. This Hooters was not an enjoyable experience. read more

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!! I can honestly say, in the building service, not delivery, but HANDS DOWN the BEST wings and BEST mozzarella sticks I've EVER had! Ordered 10 wings, naked, extra crispy, hot sauce on the side with bleu cheese and celery and the mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were the perfect melted temperature. The cheese didn't liquefy and fall out, it was like BUTTER! Then there's the perfect seasoning on them coupled with a chilled, chunky, tasty marinara sauce and plenty of it! Delightful!!!
