Went here after 9 pm Wednesday night. Not many people inside with many open tables, so no wait. Staff were all communicative, friendly, and made light fun conversation. Though there weren't many people in the restaurant at all, the kitchen was really backed up and it took a long time for our food to come out. This didn't make sense at all honestly, so I'm not sure what the issue was. Didn't get to snap a picture, but they had a decent little amount of arcade games inside, which was pretty cool; wasn't expecting to see those in there. Also one of the dessert items I wanted to try: the salted caramel brownie, was out of stock, so I did have to change my dessert choice; unfortunately. To drink: I got the Watermelon Limeade (8.5/10) it was easy to drink, honestly just tasted like a fruity soda with a very tiny buzz to it. I would've liked it a bit more if it was a little stronger. Also tried the Dirty Berry Mojito (10/10) I absolutely loved the flavor of this Mojito and it was a lot stronger than the limeade. Def had a buzz after finishing it. After I was done, felt like I should've really just ordered two of the mojitos only. To eat: I got half Strawbenero BBQ (9/10) and half Spicy Garlic Ranch (6.5/10) boneless wings. The strawberry-habanero mix wings were really different and unique. When I first bit into them, I tasted the strawberry glaze and after a few more chews, that's when the spice settled in. I think it was different and actually pretty good. As for the spicy garlic ranch wings, I feel like they really tasted like regular buffalo sauce wings. I'm not sure if the kitchen mixed up what flavors I ordered, but they def tasted like regular buffalo and not anything garlicky or ranch flavor. Also did a side order of the loaded tots (2/10) the tots were cooked nice and crispy, but the loaded toppings had absolutely no flavor. There was chilli and cheese and after even giving the chilli a taste by itself, there was truly no seasoning in it at all. I wouldn't order this again. Also got dessert: the Cracker Jack Cheesecake (10/10) cheesecake is my favorite dessert, and I love the toppings of caramel and toffee; pretty sure it was supposed to have a chocolate drizzle on it, but the caramel was really good so no complaints. I totally see myself going back again, their hotdogs on the menu looked really really good and I would like to try some more of their unique wing flavors. Wow. The wings were great. I got two flavors. Spicy BBQ and a mustard. The mustard was so good. I wish the spicy BBQ had been a bit spicier. The dirty fries were good too. The fries were cooked perfectly. The wings were also cooked well and were a nice size. Our waitress was ok. She didn't check on us often enough and she saved me money on drinks by taking so long to get them. I would go back. It was nice to see friends and everyone ate all of their food. For months I drove past The Dirty Buffalo until my friend decided last minute to eat here. We went Friday evening (8pm ish) and were seated fairly quickly. We found out they were hosting music bingo but didn't join in. It's definitely something we'll prepare for on our next Friday night visit. The menu is decent sized and loaded with sauce combinations. I ordered the garden salad, 10 piece wings and tots. They were great! I really appreciated the sauce sampling because it helped me decided. I'm a big fan of their wing selection. There are so many combinations and if you aren't interested in wings there are many other options. Reading the reviews and menu I thought this was going to be a super gimmicky bar with low to average cheap good. I don't know if there is lipstick on a pig here but I loved it!! I ordered a pizza log to start which is essentially a pizza eggroll. It's been years since having one and I was not disappointed! Next up I did the dirty chick plate which was on a guy fieri show. It looked like school cafe lunch plopped on a plate yet was weirdly delicious. I also had a side five piece garlic lemon pepper rub which may have been the best I've ever had!! This place won my heart the moment I walked in...I walked in right in the middle of trivia night and the questions they were slinging out were wild! The staff is super friendly, we always come late as ever with all our friends after church and can get a cheap bite to eat late. They have some of the most affordable menu in town. Talk about a variety! This place nailed it in that area. Dirty Buffalo is a sports bar in Norfolk right across from The Little Creek Amphibious Base. The first thing I noticed was all the TVs, and they are in easy view for anyone no matter where you sit. It's Table service, and there is a full bar. The menu options are bar food, but they have many items with a twist on them, like the mac and cheese options. You can get that with almost any protein they serve Now, my recommendation is this. Look for specials; they have them as you enter the establishment. You can view the menu online, making your life easier as they have many options. Lastly, have fun. Service is good, but depending on how busy they are, these can be favorably as it gives you more time to view the menu. Be aware if you come on the weekends or during sporting events, for it will live up to its name, and service may be slow. Kids are welcome; understand this is an adult sports bar. The food was good, the service was pleasant, and the experience was worthy of a second visit. On the negative side, the restaurant smells of partying, so bring some sanitizer. The Dirty Buffalo as a whole is a very polarizing restaurant to a lot of people. Especially with all the competition in terms of chicken wings. But I'll say these are really the best wings in the seven cities. I can't say the state yet because I haven't eaten all around the state. But I digress My wife and I have gone a bunch and we've had friends go with us, and I myself have gone out and had guys nights here. The combination of flavors are so infinite psychologically you'll feel like you'll never eat the same kind twice. I prefer the dry rubs but the sauces are amazing as well, so much so they offer you bottles of them for a price too. The unlimited boneless wing deal they have on Thursdays is worth it's price not to mention the trivia nights (also Thursdays) are a blast to be a part of. My group have had some success there too. They have a homemade spicy chili (called Dirty Sauce and yes it's homemade despite what some claim) that's very good especially on their hot dogs. I could honestly eat 10 of them in one sitting if I didn't know my stomach would pay for it later. Their French fries are seasoned beautifully not to mention nice and crispy. The cheese curds, fried pickles, and pretzel bites are out of this damn world you could probably just get those and not even worry about main courses. Now the boneless wings come out hot and fresh. It's not some fake pressed chicken either. I know a lot prefer traditional wings ( we all do but being picky isn't worth anyone's energy. Food is food sometimes). If you're tired of or don't like Buffalo Wild Wings or Wingstop, I highly recommend here. Even one of my good friends tried this place for the first a couple months ago and he keeps going back with me which should tell you all you need to know. As for service, everyone is so nice and welcoming. When you go in, if he's working, ask for Shane. He will treat you like you're best friends and look out for you like you're royalty. That's not to say everyone else is awful. The employees here are very welcoming and warm, no matter how busy it is. Shane just happens to be our favorite. My friends and I met him first on a guys night. He was beyond amazing. My wife and I made our first trip to TDB. I'm normally a BWW guy, but since we moved here, my friends have been recommending TDB, so I tried it out. Number one thing- our waitress Gaby was awesome. She was attentive, walked us through the menu and specials, got us beverages, and brought us samples of the sauces to help us pick. My wife got the dirty chick with 2 strips. The strips are pretty filling. Decent Mac and cheese. I could take or leave the homefries. I had 10 bone-in wings with Ruffalo rub and Jalapeño Ranch rub. The wings were prepared perfectly. Fried to a perfect crisp. The quality of wings was very good. Meaty and plump but not fatty or gristly. Once again, the Dirty Buffalo disappoints! My son came home from college today, so I thought it would be a good idea to get some takeout from this place. Man, what a mistake that was! The dining in has gotten better, but this takeout is absolutely unacceptable. For nearly $100 plus tip, I got wings without any sauce that were over cooked and chewy. The sides are tiny. The only thing I really wanted was tater tots, which were overly salty, soggy and undercooked. You would think there was some type of quality control, but nope! My husband, our buddy, and I came here for lunch with a real estate friend of ours. We were greeted and seated promptly. Inside was very spacious, kept clean, and at that time there were not many tables. Our server was kind and never interrupted us while we had our meeting. I got my tender in spicy sriracha and it was so crispy to the point where I crave that meal randomly. Nothing fancy at all. It's such a simple meal and something you can definitely make at home but Dirty Buffalo is now on my list for cravings because of it. I haven't tried anything else yet but my husband had the Beefy American and said it's like a good homemade burger and also agrees that my dish was really good. Such a great sports bar! I imagine it will get pretty packed during the football season, bur today it wasn't very busy so our food came out very quickly. Our waitress Hannah was quick, efficient, and very friendly. She said she was new but she was very knowledgeable about the menu and the cool ways to toss the fries and mix and match the sauces. We got our drinks quickly and then ordered two appetizers. One was free for signing up for their loyalty program (5 wings!) and then their garlic parm cheese curds and wow! Both so yummy! I absolutely love the Dirty Buffalo. I've been an avid Bdubs fan for years for I think this honestly might take the number 1 spot. The xtra hot sauce flavor is my new all time favorite since the regular buffalo doesn't have quite the full kick in the mouth that I'd like it to. The wings were wet not dry, hot upon arrival, and not overly crispy. They also had some nice drink options available that made for a good time. The only thing that could use a little improvement was the service (though better than Bdubs) could have been just a little bit better, though not something that would stop me from coming back.
