I asked for a little more sauce on the side and they charged $2 for a tiny cup. Please make the Mac and cheese like you used to, with plenty of cheese sauce. After several years later and moving from the area, we decided to give TDB another shot. I would say we were pretty happy with the outcome this time and glad they are still around. We were in the mood for something quick, a cold drink, a couple of hot dogs, and a family-friendly vibe for the kids. This place checks that off well. It felt no matter where you were sitting, you were in a good position without missing anything. The food specials were impressive and not only that, they had specials and happy hour on the weekends, which is nice! The taco dip had so much dip in there that we had to ask for more chips. That is hardly ever the case. It was so much that we ended up sharing that and ordered one hotdog each. I even topped the hotdog with the dip and still had plenty. The hotdogs hit the spot as well. Still some of the best sauces I've tasted anywhere, and I do love their wings, but I do not love the wing price (which is one of the negatives). You would have to get it on their special night, which helps with how pricey they are, but I would say they have some of the best wings, and you get what you pay for. One other personal suggestion that I still have is the lighting. It is quite bright in there. Even if they would change the lighting to the "warm-white" color vs the LED brights, that would help. The food is a bit sloppy and far from healthy, but true to what they are known for, it works. It felt more fitting now than it did when they opened, especially with our 5-year-old now. I am changing my review and happy to do so! If you want a bar-style atmosphere but super friendly for all, and want some filling, tasty, piled-on foods, this is the place. First and last time here. Party of 2 but why was there a service fee of 2% on everyone's check? The only thing I enjoyed was the backyard bbq fries for the July special. Broccoli Mac and cheese with grilled chicken added was bland and the pasta was al dente, not my thing. The strawberry crush was good, got a second one but it was super sweet. Went on a Friday night with a buddy of mine. We got right in with no wait, which was nice. They have about 30-40 TVs with just about every sport on that you can imagine--which I thought was cool. We stopped here for for a quick lunchtime beer prior to moving to our next stop. Although our visit was quick (two beers; about 45 minutes), the two of us had a pleasant time. The baked beans tasted as though they came straight from a can and served, no sweetness or flavor beyond pork and beans. Pulled pork sandwich was just salt, with no other flavor noticeable. Lastly, the simplest thing was not even workable. The Caesar salad romaine had no crispness. Given this was mid afternoon, what excuse could be possible. We had taste for wings a few weeks ago and didn't want the traditional B-Dubs so we decided on The Dirty Buffalo. I had only been once before and it didn't really wow me but I figured I'd give it another chance. As soon as we walked in, we noticed it was pretty empty but it was a Sunday night so that was understandable. Since we had to wait to be seated, we waited at the front area in hopes the waitress at the front would guide us to our table. She was occupied, possibly closing out a check or something, but we didn't get a greeting at all. I had to practically get her attention for her to even acknowledge us but once she did, she walked us over to our table. The waitress was actually very nice and answered all of our questions we had regarding the sauces. I ordered a jalapeño Agav-arita which was a margarita with agave syrup made with jalapeños. I mentioned to the waitress that the last time I ordered a jalapeño margarita, it was extremely too spicy but the bartender made my drink just right, it was delicious. We also ordered the fried pickles which were GREAT, especially with the southwest ranch dipping sauce. For our wings, we decided on the Korean BBQ, Sweet Heat Mesquite, Cajun Buffalo, and the Spicy BBQ and also ordered a side of fries. Unfortunately, it took a little while for the wings to come out. We ordered our wings around 9:30pm and didn't get them until close to 10:30pm. If the restaurant was busy, I could understand but with very few people in the restaurant, we were a little disappointed that it took so long. Before the wings came out, we did ask if they can make them extra wet and the waitress mentioned that it would be an up charge so we decided not to but she made us aware that they are normally pretty coated with sauce and she was right. When we did receive our wings, they gave me Sweet BBQ instead of Spicy BBQ so I was disappointed about that as well but I will say the taste of the Cajun Buffalo made up for it. The rest of the wings were just alright, they weren't bad but nothing to brag about. Overall, I probably wouldn't go back. Our first time, so I did not know what to expect. As a sports bar ambience which is great if you like it, but I really could care less. It was very crowded and so it took a long time for us to get waited on. However, the waitress was very friendly and helpful so I'm giving that a pass given how crowded it was. Most importantly, however, is the food. And I thought it was really good. We are traveling, so this is the third restaurant we have eaten at in three days, and it's the only one I would come back to or recommend to other people. Nice to-go experience the other night. This location is not too far from the VA Beach Amphitheater and decided to grab wings to-go. This was the first time ever ordering wings from here and were very impressed with their wings. The online to-go ordering process went very smoothly. Ordered the 15 wing dinner that includes a side and you can pick two sauces with that meal deal so it was perfect for my husband and I to each get the sauce we wanted. They were also happy to put each set of wings in separate boxes. I had the Korean bbq sauce which was a level one spice and was delicious. My husband had a level 4 traditional Buffalo sauce and enjoyed it a lot. Wings were large and asked for extra crispy and thought they were done well. Fries were out side choice and they were delicious! Only downfall is no side of either blue cheese or ranch was included. I ordered three extra as I like a lot of ranch and was also going to use to dip some of the fries in. Don't know if they just forgot it or what but we did get the 3 extra we paid for. Let's first start off by saying I don't think I've had good service from this place since it first opened. They always have new people and I've always had an issue with the hostesses and where they seat you which results in bad service. So I decided to try it maybe things have changed but I was wrong again. We asked if we could get the booth over from our table the hostess claimed it was dirty so instead of saying yes sir and cleaning it she seated us at this table. Then proceeded to gossip about us to the waitresses while they chuckle and laugh then look right at me as if I didn't know what she was doing.
