My first time trying a Tomahawk and it was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the drinks, the sides, the service and the atmosphere!

Amazing service and food! We've been here a couple times before. What I don't understand is why people are bringing their kids (3 families with kids)here and why are people wearing jeans and tshirts to sit in the dining room? This is a nice place. Will definitely be back but hope kids are not there this time... takes away from date night!!!!

Wedge salad - yum!

This is really a good chophouse but if you go with a large party, expect to wait a long time for your food! We waited over an hour before the meals came out. And it was 1 waiter assigned to us for our party of 18. My favorite is the wedge salad. I love the dressing. And the crispy Brussels sprouts is also my go to side. I haven't had the steaks as it seems I always go for the seafood. And the seafood is always fresh and cooked very well. This place is my regular spot for good food and a chill atmosphere.

Ordered takeout from the bar for an early dinner/late lunch. I debated getting some apps and brussels sprouts but ending up ordering the pork chop and the brussels sprouts. Bartenders were very friendly and I got water while I waited and service was impeccable as my glass never got empty. After my food was about ready and I had already paid the bartender asked me if I wanted a water, soda, or anything else to go. I thought this was interesting even though I declined the offer as my hotel was super close and I was in the process of cleaning out my refrigerator as it was the last night in VA. The bartender also confirmed that the portions of food were huge and his information was correct. The portion of brussel sprouts was good and the sauce made it a little heavier, the pork chop was not a pork chop it was a double cut pork chop just not cut in half. It was perfectly cooked and super tasty and juicy. The brussel sprouts were also delicious and I think I wish I tried the restaurant earlier as I would have eaten here again as the service and food was great. The restaurant itself was large and new located in the bottom corner of a new luxury apartment building. The bar and kitchen was located in the middle portion of the restaurant. Overall, it was a great dining experience for my last meal in Chesapeake, VA.

The staff was personable and knowledgeable about the menu and entrees. Great service and food! The bathroom and dining area was clean. They also had a free wine tasting.

Celebrated a recent work accomplishment here, and it was a great choice! The steak was cooked perfectly, but the highlight of my meal were the Brussels sprouts with bacon onion jam. DELICIOUS. I lucked out this night too, because the cocktail du jour was a gin bramble and it was perfectly made! The ambiance inside is cozy, dimly lit, upscale western. Service was a little slow but I don't fault them for a Saturday night. Would definitely return or bring people here for a special occasion.

22oz dry aged bone-in ribeye

I had the cinnamon roll bread pudding for dessert. It was cold, hard, and didn't taste good. I'm a bread pudding fan and I highly discourage anyone from getting the bread pudding from here. The pastry chef was willing to give me a different dessert free but, after that experience, I was done and over it. I'd rather them not charge me for it but they did. The rest of the food and service was ok. I had the 22 oz aged ribeye, fries, and asparagus. Princess, my waitress, was really nice. However, If it wasn't for Resy and the Amex Plat credit, I would choose a different steak house.

Had a daughter/mama lunch date with this first time visit. Lots of nearby free parking and the entire Summit Point area was clean and bright. We decided to try a little of everything and it did not disappoint. Our server, Lindsey was efficient and friendly. She gave us lots of time to enjoy our lunch but the time span between her coming to check on us was great for us. I was really surprised on the portion size were for lunch. The peach burrata salad is enough for 2-3 people to share along with entrees. The truffle fries were awesome and the Caesar side salad that we opted for with our sandwiches almost did not necessitate apps for smaller appetites, (but I don't regret getting and trying them!). We ended up taking half our sandwiches home to also indulge in dessert. My daughter decided she wanted to try the banana foster(?) cheese cake. Again enough to share with 2 cheesecakes. My son was so jealous he wasn't able to join us due to having classes. Next time. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back!

I came here with my husband a few nights ago. We are new to the area and have been checking out restaurants around town. We had a reservation and were seated in the dining area, which seemed a bit more formal than the bar seating. We ordered oysters, she crab soup, the dry aged ribeye (chefs way), Brussels sprouts with bacon jam, and loaded baked potato. I have no complaints on the oysters or she crab soup. The ribeye was good and cooked medium rare as requested, but I felt it was priced a bit high...And to have it chefs way (an extra $10) I felt like that add on was not at all worth it for the sparse amount of mushrooms and onions we received. The sides are family style and meant to serve 3-4 people. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and crispy, but could have done with a little bit less of the bacon jam to make them less sweet. The baked potato was also delicious, although I'm not sure I'd pay $10 for a potato again. Our server was really nice and attentive and all the food came out timely. We did order the banana cheesecake for dessert, but after we were told they had it, we were told it was sold out. We ate dinner at 5pm, so they most likely sold out the day before. Overall, we enjoyed our experience but felt the prices were a bit too high for what we received. I have no problem paying for a high quality meal, but we felt that this one fell a bit short in terms of quality/amount for the price. I would give 3.5 stars if that were an option.

Amazing place to unwind, the place is really nice. the Food is heavenly good even the drinks, to good that I forgot to take pictures. 1st highly recommend is the lamb. This is so delicious I almost lick the plate specially the sauce. 2nd the Bison steak is wow. The sides are good for 2. Brussels sprouts and mushrooms are yummy. Appetizer: pork belly and the tuna is 5/5. The service is superb. I didnt have the chance to get the name of our server but shes amazing. 10/10

Our first visit to C&B was actually quite good! I was a bit nervous reading the reviews, as they are all over the place. The ambiance here is, in one word, odd. It's as if from the outside you're looking at an expensive restaurant and inside you're met with an interior akin to a 2-star family joint. I made a reservation for 4 on a Thursday night. Whitney was our server and was great! She shared the specials, had water refilled at adequate times and was social and knowledgeable. We started with the crab dip and my husband had the she crab bisque. Both were phenomenal! The warm bread with butter that came out was lovely also. I ordered the Oaxaca old fashioned and it did not disappoint! The right amount of mezcal and reposado; chef's kiss. On to the ordering; 3 of us got filet (1 medium the other 2 medium well). All were done to perfection and absolutely delicious! My dad had another cut (which I can't remember) but enjoyed it immensely. All of the sides are quite shareable. My dad wanted a baked potato and they were out of them ...huh??? That's just so weird to me. We ordered the brussels, mashed potatoes and asparagus and all were very good. The brussels were by far the best. For the price you pay per side, I thought the portions were generous. The drawbacks here are the noise and the ambiance. Other than that, we would return!

This was our second time dining at Cork n Bull--the first was for our anniversary back in May, and now we came to celebrate my wife's birthday. Once again, it did not disappoint. Our server was exceptional. She was not only warm and attentive but also thoroughly familiar with the menu, checking in regularly without ever being intrusive. For dinner, I ordered the special 13 oz Bison Ribeye with a peppercorn crust served over a bed of hash--potatoes, red onion, and jalapeño. Absolutely phenomenal. My wife enjoyed the 16 oz Kansas City Strip, which was cooked to perfection. On the side, we had flash-fried Brussels sprouts and fully loaded garlic mashed potatoes--both packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I tried the Peach Please, which struck the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, while the Classic Old Fashioned was everything an Old Fashioned should be. Served with a touch of smoke, it was smooth and bold--I consider myself an Old Fashioned connoisseur, and this one was spot on. For dessert, we shared the Chef's Cheesecake (banana pudding cheesecake) and the Grilled Peach Shortcake--both rich, unique, and beautifully presented. To round it out, we sampled two dessert cocktails: * Bourbon Brown Sugar (bourbon, espresso, Kahlúa, chocolate bitters, and brown sugar syrup)--a bold yet well-balanced drink. * Bourbon Class (cookie-soaked Buffalo Trace, housemade cookie syrup, Angelica espresso, turbinado sugar)--silky smooth, with hints of each element shining through without one overpowering the other. Hands down, Cork n Bull is the best steakhouse in Hampton Roads. The food, drinks, and service all come together to make every visit special. We'll definitely be back for another celebration.

The experience here was top notch thanks to our server Reighnah (might be spelling wrong, sorry!) She truly made my birthday dinner a fantastic experience, going above and beyond my dining expectations! The food itself was great! The game platter is a must. I do not like pickles- I've tried them all and hated them all but the house pickles here are FANTASTIC! 30+ years of hating pickles and I found the ones I actually enjoy! The filet mignon was PERFECT. Buttery, cooked to perfection and my favorite bite of the night. The seared tuna was good. The tomahawk was a fun experience. We weren't a fan of the mashed potatoes it came with due to horseradish so we were just going to skip over them and our server immediately had regular mashed potatoes brought out. Something so small like that meant so much! The ambiance was good though dark, they have table lights available if you need them for the menu. This was a special dinner and I appreciate the experience.

So, I was hopeful that the WXYZ lounge and bar in Chesapeake would be similar and provide a great atmosphere to get together for a fun, chill hangout with our friends. We were not disappointed. There was ample seating and a large table where we were able to share a meal and play board games. The lounge has games in the lobby area, which we weren't expecting, but was nice to see. We had brought our own games. My friend ordered a mocktail and enjoyed it. The four of us ordered chicken buffalo dip and fish and chips to share. I couldn't eat the chicken buffalo dip because I have a dairy allergy, but everyone said it was good. I did really enjoy the fish and chips. The fries were hot, thick, and well seasoned. The cod was very tasty as well, the skin was perfectly crispy but the meat was tender inside. While we didn't take pictures of the menu this time, I took a look at the menu online and there are some options listed on the website that were not printed on the physical menus we saw, but for what was the same the prices matched. The fish and chips isn't on the website but was on the physical menu and was affordable (two pieces or cod and ample fries). Our server (also the bartender) was nice and provided good service. The hours that they're open make it a great hangout spot for Friday nights and weekends. The restrooms are clean. The noise level was moderate and fine. We definitely recommend for hanging out with friends and will be coming back in the future.

It's in the same group of buildings such as Michael's (around the corner). My visit here was on October 27, 2025. The outside view of the business is simple, but effective. They have a specials chalkboard next to the entrance. Parking wasn't an issue on this visit, but I'm sure it can fill up at busier times. My mom and I were both in the area as she wanted to go to the Michael's store here. When we came inside, it wasn't busy, as it was around 3:30 pm when we got here. We were greeted by the one who would be our server for this visit. He gave us menus to look at and asked us for our drink orders. I generally stick with water with lemon, which I did here. We were there during the time where it was still the lunch menu (though for us, it was more like dinner for us that day). When he came back with the drinks, he asked if we were ready to order, but we weren't just yet. He also asked if we had any questions about the menu and options and gave us more time to mull over the menu. When he came back, we weren't completely ready, but asked a question about the specials of the day. After that, we knew what we would get and placed our food order. My mom ordered the Meatloaf Lunch Special with mashed potatoes and spinach. I went with the Meatball Sub Lunch Special with mashed potatoes, though I don't normally do potatoes that often. After about ten minutes or so, the food came to the table. The food looked really good, and it was hot too. The bread for the Meatball Sub was very soft and easy to eat. The meatballs were huge and made for a worthy meal. The mashed potatoes with gravy was really good and fulfilling too. My mom loved the meatloaf, and their meatloaf doesn't have ketchup on it like some other places do. She loved the meatloaf, spinach, and mashed potatoes too. After we were done, he asked if we wanted any desserts. We both declined as I normally don't do them anymore. Overall, we both had an excellent experience here. The food and service were on point. The food I had that day did spike my blood sugars, but I expected that with bread and mashed potatoes. I don't make a habit of that though. They are a great local business. There are lots of food options to choose from. If you are looking for a place to eat while in this part of Chesapeake, this place is worth coming to.

Carne Asada (marinated steak, onion, queso fresco, avocado, cilantro), Chicken Tinga (marinated chicken, refried black beans, avocado, greens, queso fresco, cilantro) and Blackened Mahi (mezcal pickled onion, red cabbage, red pepper pico, chipotle sauce, cilantro). The blackened mahi was my hands down favorite. It was super flavorful with just the right amount of heat. My friends tried some awesome dishes too!
