My husband wanted seafood so we came here. It was early around 5 on a Friday so it wasn't crowded. We were seated quickly. And our server took our drink orders. The sweet tea was very sweet, which I enjoyed! We got boils off th happy hour menu and added crab legs to it. I got a shrimp and sausage boil and added ramen. My husband got the shrimp and crawfish boil and added 1/2 lb of crab legs. The sauce flavor was great. The corn was severely overcooked and flavorless. The shrimp and crab leg were slightly overcooked. If I come back here I would just get a fried seafood basket. Too overpriced for poor quality of food.

The after work drink menu was lit. That's a "Black Magic Margarita."

We were greeted when we arrived, which is really important to me. We were seated quickly and waited for four more to join our party. We ordered some really tasty and creative Halloween themed drinks while we waited. We were served our drinks quickly. When the remainder of our party arrived we ordered our various seafood combo with a choice of different seasoning. I ordered shrimps, clams, mussels, red potatoes, and vegetables with garlic sauce steamed in a bag. When I opened the bag I could taste the aroma. Have you ever deeply inhaled a scent that you could actually taste it in your mouth? Yep (breathe in), that was definitely it. Everything tasted well seasoned to my requests, the clams were small but juicy and tender. The shrimps were huge and tender. I love steamed vegetables and these were also tender, not overcooked. I will order crab legs when we comeback. Great vibes, this is my BFF's go-to seafood spot, and I definitely understand why. Great visit.

Came to The Twisted Crab in Greenbrier Mall for lunch while Christmas shopping. I was greeted by Sam, a friendly host who seemed genuinely happy to have me. My server was Will and when I told him I hadn't been here before, he offered to help me decide based on what I usually like. Very helpful! I went for the crab cake basket with fries and a glass of Pinot Grigio to celebrate the joy of the season ;) the food came out promptly and was warm when served. I'm a Maryland girl so the crab cakes have less lump crab than I'm used to but the flavor is top notch. The fries were crispy and delicious, and the sauce served with them was really good. They gave me two, which I appreciated! The atmosphere is friendly and casual with nice music playing and families enjoying the day. Don't sleep on this spot. Support it, so we continue to have unique places to come to close by. Highly recommend!

Think I popped in at the right time. It's rare to catch them on a Saturday not super super busy. Had their menu combo T1 that included 1/2 lb of snow crab legs (1 cluster), 1/2 lb shrimp and 1/2 lb of sausage with 2 potatoes and 2 pies of corn on the cob. I like my seafood with a tad bit of smoke so had the seasoning of Cajjn with Hot for spicy level. My husband had a 1 lb shrimp with Cajun and mild seasoning. John was our sever and bartender and man that drink was delicious "pineapple something," fruit with just the right punch of spirits. It was a steady flow of customers of various ages here. Not super loud so the ambiance was very personal and the servers were attentive without being overbearing. Twisted Crab is located at the front entrance of Greenbrier mall so you will have to compete for close parking but there is an abundance available to shoppers and restaurant guests. Believe our meal was like $70-ish but that's with 2 alcoholic nice beverages. 1 Pepi, 1 Almer Palmer and 2 entrees. I was happy to stop in yesterday and plan to comeback soon. Side note: Sorry I missed breakfast yesterday so I didn't get any pics of the food because I attacked it like a rabid animal...next time

I didn't really like the catfish basket. The breading wasn't tasty at all. I won't order that anymore.

So, I was hopeful that the WXYZ lounge and bar in Chesapeake would be similar and provide a great atmosphere to get together for a fun, chill hangout with our friends. We were not disappointed. There was ample seating and a large table where we were able to share a meal and play board games. The lounge has games in the lobby area, which we weren't expecting, but was nice to see. We had brought our own games. My friend ordered a mocktail and enjoyed it. The four of us ordered chicken buffalo dip and fish and chips to share. I couldn't eat the chicken buffalo dip because I have a dairy allergy, but everyone said it was good. I did really enjoy the fish and chips. The fries were hot, thick, and well seasoned. The cod was very tasty as well, the skin was perfectly crispy but the meat was tender inside. While we didn't take pictures of the menu this time, I took a look at the menu online and there are some options listed on the website that were not printed on the physical menus we saw, but for what was the same the prices matched. The fish and chips isn't on the website but was on the physical menu and was affordable (two pieces or cod and ample fries). Our server (also the bartender) was nice and provided good service. The hours that they're open make it a great hangout spot for Friday nights and weekends. The restrooms are clean. The noise level was moderate and fine. We definitely recommend for hanging out with friends and will be coming back in the future.

It's in the same group of buildings such as Michael's (around the corner). My visit here was on October 27, 2025. The outside view of the business is simple, but effective. They have a specials chalkboard next to the entrance. Parking wasn't an issue on this visit, but I'm sure it can fill up at busier times. My mom and I were both in the area as she wanted to go to the Michael's store here. When we came inside, it wasn't busy, as it was around 3:30 pm when we got here. We were greeted by the one who would be our server for this visit. He gave us menus to look at and asked us for our drink orders. I generally stick with water with lemon, which I did here. We were there during the time where it was still the lunch menu (though for us, it was more like dinner for us that day). When he came back with the drinks, he asked if we were ready to order, but we weren't just yet. He also asked if we had any questions about the menu and options and gave us more time to mull over the menu. When he came back, we weren't completely ready, but asked a question about the specials of the day. After that, we knew what we would get and placed our food order. My mom ordered the Meatloaf Lunch Special with mashed potatoes and spinach. I went with the Meatball Sub Lunch Special with mashed potatoes, though I don't normally do potatoes that often. After about ten minutes or so, the food came to the table. The food looked really good, and it was hot too. The bread for the Meatball Sub was very soft and easy to eat. The meatballs were huge and made for a worthy meal. The mashed potatoes with gravy was really good and fulfilling too. My mom loved the meatloaf, and their meatloaf doesn't have ketchup on it like some other places do. She loved the meatloaf, spinach, and mashed potatoes too. After we were done, he asked if we wanted any desserts. We both declined as I normally don't do them anymore. Overall, we both had an excellent experience here. The food and service were on point. The food I had that day did spike my blood sugars, but I expected that with bread and mashed potatoes. I don't make a habit of that though. They are a great local business. There are lots of food options to choose from. If you are looking for a place to eat while in this part of Chesapeake, this place is worth coming to.

We started the night with drinks: I went for a cold Modelo, while my friends both ordered margaritas, and wouldn't stop raving about how good they were! For appetizers, we shared the Union Trio! Fire roasted tomato salsa, creamy guacamole, and queso served with crisp tortilla chips. All three were fresh and delicious, a great way to kick off the meal. For my main, I mixed things up with a taco trio! Carne Asada (marinated steak, onion, queso fresco, avocado, cilantro), Chicken Tinga (marinated chicken, refried black beans, avocado, greens, queso fresco, cilantro) and Blackened Mahi (mezcal pickled onion, red cabbage, red pepper pico, chipotle sauce, cilantro). The blackened mahi was my hands down favorite. It was super flavorful with just the right amount of heat. My friends tried some awesome dishes too! One had the Coconut Curry Mahi (blackened mahi, jasmine rice, edamame succotash, with a rich coconut curry cream sauce) and the other had the Duck Confit Taco (with cherry salsa, pickled carrot salad, and cilantro-lime creme). Our waitress was phenomenal and definitely suggested great choices. If you're in the area and craving something a little more elevated than your average Mexican spot, Union is absolutely worth checking out. Great food, tasty drinks, and a stylish atmosphere!
