They have the perfect brunch menu with si many hard to choose from options. I got the fish, shrimp, and grits and I can honestly say it looked just like the picture on the menu. It was soo good, very flavorful. The service was really good and our waiter was super patient when we did not know what we wanted to order. The staff was super sweet, the ambiance was smooth and sultry (r&b vibes) made for a great after work cool down, the food was good from what my friend states the fish was a tad bit salty but I prefer seasoned food over mid! My only request is that the hookah would be made with the coco nara coals - quick lights aren't my favorite but I won't knock the score because the guy states they use those to provide a quick service! This place is a total vibe and more people should know about it. I've been hearing about this place for a minute but for some reason, it didn't click that it was so close to the comedy club (Push Comedy Theater) that I frequent. In addition to being a restaurant, they're also a hookah lounge, so when you walk in security checks IDs and pats you down. Now where most folks may associate a security check at a restaurant as something dangerous; however, there is a certain cultural schema that let me know that this food was about to be fye! (Not fire, but FYE!) #IYKYK Our waitress was the nicest and recommended that my friend and I get the seafood over the burger. The shrimp starter was good, especially with some tartar and hot sauce. They seasoned that breading down in the back do you hear me? Same thing with the fish and chips, I need them to drop the recipe so I can recreate their seafood breading at home. My friend didn't listen and got the burger anyway (but in his defense, they were out of the lamb chops he originally wanted). I took a bit of his burger and the burger wasn't bad per se, but I've had better burgers and I enjoyed my seafood more. All in all, Soirée Bistro left me wanting to try more on their menu. Found this place on "Yelp." As it turned out, I'd been here once before. Didn't eat that first time, so I didn't remember. This location has has several evolutions over the course of time. I believe it used to be "The Garage." I sat at the Bar, and was served by "Krystal;" it was her Birthday. She was wonderful. For me, the Bar program is limited, albeit they offer very creative libations, with varying flavor profiles. There just aren't many options for variety. Example, two Gins: Tangarey and Seagrams. No Bombay, or Hendricks. Also, no Saint Germain; maybe THIS is why I didn't remember the place. Ambiance is cute. Dimmer or softer lighting wouldn't elevate its presentation and "feel" greatly. I ordered a Sweet Tea and Lemonade mixed, half and half; no alcohol. The food. Good. I had the Pork Chop dinner, which I believe was cooked to order, rice, and asparagus. It comes with white gravy and onions. It's a center cut pork chop; you get two. I'd recommend this place. Happy Hour menu is good. Dinner menu is too, although, the price point for the Lamb Chops seemed excessive: $44.00 for four (half rack) lollipop chops...? You can get two full racks at Costco; I digress. Check it out. The one star is only because I couldn't give a no star review. I've been to this place twice and both experiences have been horrible. This last visit was my last visit. Ordered food off of the Happy Hour menu, wings and fries. The server walked away and came back 35-40 mins later and stated that my order got lost in the kitchen, yet i saw people who were clearly regulars that came in after me get the exact same order before me. They sent chicken pieces. 2 of the five did not even have a bone as if they were the scrap pieces in the bottom of the bag and the fries came out about 5 mins after the wings. $3.00 for a can Coke served with no ice. No apologies or discount given for the bad service as if this was business as usual. My first visit was much of the same, just avoid this place. read more

I went on a weekday and It wasn't too booked. The service was decent. The wings were about 7 for 13 but I only received 5 I'm not sure why. The entrees were great but be forewarned if you are a steak person I would reconsider ordering about half a temperature below what you usually get. I ordered medium well and it was more so medium. I LOVE THIS PLACE! It's super new. I've been eyeing this place for a month now and I'm happy that my friend and I got a chance to go last Sunday for brunch. It was busy but everyone was attentive and the wasn't a wait time. We opted to sit at the bar and our server was Lauren. She was so amazing! Literally the perfect waitress/bartender... she answered all 50 million of our questions without hesitation lol. We ordered a bottle of champagne and mixers for our mimosas and they were good. We also had shrimp, fish and grits and also the lamb. Both entrees were amazing. The ribs were "slap your momma good". One thing I appreciated was the staff. Have you ever been to a place were literally everyone was friendly and a vibe? Yea well this is the place. Every server picking up their drinks at the bar talked to us or smiled, the chef even walked out to see how we liked our meals. While the taste was on point, the serving size compared to the price is lacking. My friends and I actually laughed several times at the small amount of food that was being served to us. You would have thought we were kids being served happy meals. They definitely can do better! Serve some hash browns or grits along with them meat and egg dishes or make your brunch plates smaller because it was a joke for the price! If you know your lamb chops super small, add one or two more for good service. If you serving petite steaks, advertise it as such. Food: originally we ordered the French toast bites with chicken and waffles and the pork chops smothered with the breakfast potatoes. The French toast bites came out extremely undercooked and so we sent them back to see if they could remake them, but they still were very undercooked the second time, so we just removed those altogether. The chicken waffles was very flavorful, I loved my pork chops. I'm not a huge gravy person but I have come to love sauces so I wanted to give it a try and it was very delicious. The amount of onions actually added more flavor to it and it was really good. We also got Mamosa kit which was one full bottle of champagne with two small chasers and that was good Service: our waitress was sweet and the food came out very quickly. There was not a long wait, and she brought our mimosa kid out very fast as well. She was still very kind, even when we were dissatisfied with the French toast bites, but she completely understood. Ambiance: this is a very beautiful restaurant it is not a huge space but they definitely use every inch including an upstairs section. They also offer you plasticware instead of wear once you walk in which I thought was really nice and they also offer hookah. There is more modern popping R&B, but it was still very chill. Nothing too crazy with an open bar. But overall 9/10 simply due to the twice undercooked French toast bites and prices are a bit high. read more

Again, Cecelia, our server was the best! She has a wonderful personality. We got cocktails and a hookah, then placed our orders. - Easily in the worst 5 service experiences I have had at a restaurant. - The drinks are batched very sweet and dilute for happy hour, which is why they are $5 each because it is all juice or mixers. - The food was honestly good for the happy hour menu, no complaints aside from the amount of time it took to get the food. - We ordered a double lemon drop and received a strawberry lemon drop that was declined, then a double pour of lemon drop in a plastic pint glass instead of the normal martini glass and we were told to pour it from the plastic pint glass into the martini glass ourself that we sent back, then we were served another strawberry lemon drop, followed by the double lemon drop on the fourth attempt. - I take that back about the food not having issues, the food order was wrong in addition to the drinks. We ordered a side of fries for the table that never came. - We ordered a single shot that arrived when we were getting ready to pay the bill... we ended up sending it back because it took over 30 minutes for the shot to come and we were getting ready to leave and we were told that there was new bar staff that caused the error. It's very complicated to pour a shot into a plastic cup. - Hookah was ordered with food and came nearly 1.5 hours after it was ordered after we had finished all of our dinner. - There is a mandatory gratuity for roughly 20% that is never disclosed unless you print the receipt and look at it. Then, an additional tip was requested for this horrendous service... - The ambiance had potential and fell flat just like the service. The restrooms were dirty and the walls and paint were flaking. The ceiling was not covered or finished with piping and ventilation exposed. - The pictures online seemed promising, but it's just a very unimpressive experience overall.
