Bamboo Room is an Asian / Soul fusion cuisine. It is a GENIUS concept. I had the steak and cheese egg rolls and crab cake sandwich which was on a seared buttery cornbread. Very great experience. Stress free atmosphere and really cool staff. Definitely give it a try.

I stopped here on my hour lunch a little hesitant as I was pressed for time. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very professional waitress and seated immediately. This place was so clean and polished. My food was AMAZING!!! The crab Mac, chicken fried rice ( served on a huge wonton) jerk chicken & rice egg rolls & even the Mac and cheese egg rolls were flavorful and huge! I took most of it back to work and now my office has a new lunch spot.

The meals come with sides like kimchi, seasoned cucumbers, broccoli, and what they call mashed potatoes (it tastes more like potato salad and if you like potato salad, you'll like it). I appreciated that the extras were included. We ordered onion rings, and they were delicious very state fair vibes, crispy and flavorful with a good dipping sauce. We also built a customizable cup (more like a rice bowl) with kimchi fried rice, spicy pork, and onions. It was so flavorful that we didn't even need sauce. We tried the kimbap (similar to sushi) and the beef fried dumplings both were really good. Customer service was solid. They greeted us right away, walked us through the menu, and let us know ahead of time that the fried chicken would take about 15 minutes. Everything else came out quickly. I also loved that they have pictures on the menu and displayed up front. As someone new to Korean food, that made it feel welcoming and easier to order. Overall, 10/10. Great food, good service, no complaints.

I love how well they treated Mak Mariano, and his friends, and also those that came to see and hang out with him. The staff were very kind to allow us all to hang out and take pictures. The food- My hubby ate while I enjoyed hanging out, listening to, and watching Mak tell stories and interact with everyone. Hubby enjoyed the food as always. This was our 2nd time or 3rd time coming here, and even though I can't remember what we had, I know for sure we enjoyed the food. This time around my hubby had Kare-kare and really liked it! We also bought a big container of sisig to go, which we had for dinner and we absolutely love it!!! I'd say Fiesta Kainan is our new fave go to for quick Filipino meals.

I tried out the caldereta and the mechado (?). I liked both items but I found it too oily for my liking. The vegetables were stewed perfectly and the meat texture were nice and tender. I think had I visited earlier in the day, it may have had a less oily texture to it. The accompanying soup was super sour but acted as a perfect palate cleanser after the oily meals. The service was excellent-- friendly, patient, and helpful. You can pick and choose different entrees over rice or pancit. Similar to getting food from Panda Express. The inside of the restaurant has several family friendly seatings available and baked goods and market also. Lastly, parking is free and plentiful right across from the front entrance. If an out of area Filipino asked for a good place to eat, I wouldn't hesitate recommending them. I certainly wouldn't mind revisiting again in the future.

The older lady welcomed and greeted us, and walked us to our table. She was a very enthusiastic lady and was very happy to have us dine at her restaurant. I loved her energy! As I looked around the restaurant, every guest seemed to enjoy their food. Overall, we had a great dining experience and I think most of it was because of the lady's energy. The food was delicious. Definitely would love to dine here again the next time I'm in Virginia.

We ordered sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, chicken fried rice, and beef lo mein. The beef lo mein noodles were broken into small pieces instead leaving them as long noodles and there were more vegetables than there were noodles. The beef in the beef broccoli had an unusual taste like it had been sitting out for too long and the broccoli and bamboo shoots had a really weird taste that I can't even explain; we didn't finish it. The sweet and sour sauce had a slight flavor akin to some kind of cleaning agent; we just ate the chicken without the sauce. The chicken fried rice was the best out of all of it. They should get rid of the piano player and just play music, even traditional Chinese music, over the speakers. The internal appearance of the place made us think the food and ambience would be somewhat traditional, but it wasn't even close. China Ocean off of Holland has far better Chinese food than Imperial Palace. I will not recommend imperial palace nor returning to eat there. The staff/service was great, especially our waitress Sue.

Saw they were coming back and cancelled our leftover plans to head to Pine and Porch, they were set up and taking orders when we arrived at around 6 and service was super kind. We ordered the Bulgogi Fries, Steamed Shitake Dumplings, a Spam Musubi, and the Maui Wowie Cheeseburger. WE ARE IN LOVE. It was my first spam musubi, a simple but incredible flavor bomb and should have gotten 100 of them, is that legal? The marinated and sauced up ribeye on the bulgogi fries was so friggin flavorful and the fries were oh so crispy. I don't want to talk about the burger, because if I do I might get emotional, GET THE BURGER smashed, burnt ends and still juicy topped with the bacon jam, the cheese, the fried onions no sauce needed it's perfect as is. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of the burg, I was hungry, you'll have to trust it was very pretty to look at. The dumplings were the perfect side to contrast our fried heaven and the chili crisp was flavorful and electric. Anyways, can't wait to come back for bowls so we can hit up the rest of the menu.

The belly was seasoned so good, tender and yummy! The best I've had!! Bulgogi Chicken bowl- chicken was well marinated that reminds me of like a Japanese BBQ soy sauce based. It had a nice cooked char to it. Chicken thighs were used making it tender. This was so YUM! Fries- were the crinkly ones salted nicely lol Customer Service- was the best!! Very friendly and kept you informed how much longer your food will be. They give you a buzzer so you don't have to wait around the truck. The owners were awesome. They post on their website of where they will be so if you see them, please stop by and check them out. It's worth it!
